Trustworthy Glass

This was a positive experience. The price was reasonable. I would definetley use this company in the future.

Very professional, courteous, personable and punctual through the whole process. When they ordered the glass for the bow window from their supplier they were quoted the wrong price (actual cost was more). They quoted me my cost based on this inaccurate price, and when the mistake was discovered they did not charge me more. I appreciate this manner of doing business, and felt they truly put the customer first through and through. I would definitely hire them again.

I found it on Angie's List. It is a family business, everybody was real helpful, and their price was a lot more reasonable then other ones. There was another window place that I called, and it was a lot more than this one. The price and the reviews that I read made me choose them. They were on time, and everything went the way they said.

Installer was prompt and completed in less time than estimated so the price went DOWN.. Very Pleased.

**note: I have been an Angie's List member since the mid-90s. This is the first negative review I have written** March 17: Estimate provided. I initially got the first appointment date incorrect and was unable to meet them when they arrived to provide an estimate. They were very good about returning the following day and prompt/courteous on both occasions. March 21 (Day 1): Glass ordered - 50% down payment. Initially Trustworthy Glass (TG) was very prompt & polite; somewhat on the expensive side, but they do provide on-site services. They indicated services would be completed in 7-10 days (i.e., no later than March 31st). April 3rd (Day 14): Initial phone call from me. I requested a status update & an estimated time of delivery; TG was unaware of the status of my order at the time of my call. They indicated they would look into the matter and contact me with an update. I indicated the estimated time of delivery was the highest priority for me so I could communicate this to the tenants (health & safety concerns/managing expectations). TG indicated delivery was 7-10 business days (i.e., no later than April 4th). April 4th (Day 15 - mid-afternoon): TG left a voicemail message to discuss matters further. I returned the call and left a voicemail message indicating I needed an estimated time of delivery and they were welcome to leave this information on my voicemail in the event we did not connect. April 4th (Day 15 - late-afternoon): TG left a voicemail message to discuss matters further and did not provide an estimated time of delivery. April 4th (Day 15 - 16:24): I sent an email canceling the order & requesting a refund for my 50% down payment. April 6th (Day 17): I entered into a new agreement with a different vendor to complete the service. April 7th (Day 18): TG indicated the glass had broken during the initial shipment, another pane of glass was being delivered, and the order could be completed the upcoming Thursday (April 10th). There was no acknowledgement of my email canceling the order on April 4th. April 7th (Day 18): I sent another email reiterating my wish to cancel the order and indicated I had dropped the broken window off with another vendor to complete the job. April 7th (Day 18): A voicemail was left with me indicating the delay was due to the supplier delivering broken glass. TG writes, "We will be happy to provide you with a [service] refund and your ordered glass. The deposit provided covers the cost of materials. We are still able to complete the installation if you choose, Thursday 4/10 (evening) or Friday 4/11. Please feel free to make arrangements with us to pick the glass at your convenience. Someone is generally in the office between 8am-4pm". April 7th (Day 18): I indicated broken glass upon shipment was a supplier issue - not a customer issue - and reiterated I had gone a different route since they had not provided me with an new estimated date. Additionally, we were outside of their estimated delivery time frame. April 8th (Day 19): TG apologized for the supplier's delay. Indicated their 7-10 day estimate was based on business days and (although this is not stipulated anywhere) "don't and can't promise when it will arrive". This message was also somewhat personal in tone: 1) TG chose to highlight the initial miscommunication during the estimate process in March, 2) Indicated that they had "either spoken with [me] or left numerous voice mails regarding this situation," as if to suggest I was somehow at fault. I don't know what the intent of pointing out the initial miscommunication was since it played no part in the supplier issue with which we were dealing. And while there were a number of conversations and phone calls, ***TG never supplied me with the new time frame estimate for which I was looking***. I had not worked with this vendor previously and I was in no position to plan. Ultimately, I was left to wonder why I should trust a company who failed to meet their initial promise with me and was now being argumentative and passive-aggressive? There was still no acknowledgement that I had already sent the window to someone else to be fixed. May 19th (Day 60) : TG sent a check providing a refund for services and provided an address where the glass could be picked up at their shop. They indicated they would keep the glass for an additional 30 days until June 19th. May 19th (Day 60): I did not cash the check for $17.50. I took my case to Visa to have funds ($87.50) returned to me, providing them with all documentation. May 22nd (Day 63): Visa provided a provisional credit to my account. August 4th (Day 137): Visa found in my favor. Had there not been an issue with the supplier, I think this experience could have been good. I got TG's name from Angie's List and chose them largely because of their good reviews. I would speculate that a majority of their interactions are good; I would also speculate that a majority of their supply deliveries do not have issues. I am astounded at the poor customer service when an issue did arrive, however. They took no personal responsibility and placed all of the business risk on the customer. New comments like, "we don't guarantee that" and "this is non-refundable" began to emerge even though it can be found nowhere in any of the documentation. And the complete & repeated non-acknowledgement of the fact I no longer had the glass to repair once I took it to someone else felt extremely passive-aggressive. In short, I'm disappointed. It was an emotionally draining experience and I don't plan to use this company or recommend them to anyone in the future.

Trustworthy Glass is fantastic!! Nothing but a smooth process from beginning to end. Andy was responsible, on time and on budget, and totally professional. He even went out of his way to stop by our house a little later in the evening when it was more convenient for us. And in the pouring rain. And, Becky in the office is the best. I would highly recommend Trustworthy Glass!

Very courteous when I called to get an estimate on a broken window in a rental home. I had new tenants moving in in 3 weeks and I wanted to make sure they could get the glass installed before then, and I was told that it would not be a problem. Ballpark quote was reasonable as well, and they agreed to send someone out to measure the pane a week later. After the pane was measured, the price went up $40, which was still pretty close to the original ballpark that I was given based on my own measurements. I was told that the glass would be ordered and should take 3 days or so to come in, but they would go ahead and schedule me for an installation even though the glass had not arrived yet. This is where things took a turn for the worse. No communication whatsoever for a week. My wife finally called to ask where the glass was, since we had tenants moving in in less than a week now, and she got an answering service who told her the owners were on vacation. She received a call back a day or two later to schedule the installation, but unfortunately they couldn't get the job done on time and we had to disrupt the tenants to install the glass, when it should have been done earlier. All in all, it was 3.5 weeks from the call for a quote until the job was completed. They were much more prompt in calling to ask for the second half of payment, though the check was already in the mail. This wasn't a nightmare experience by any stretch, and the work itself was good but I had ONE major requirement (timing) and was told it wouldn't be a problem, and it was. Not what I was hoping for from a company called Trustworthy Glass.

When we called they scheduled us in right away and told us approximately how much it would cost (and that was the exact cost when the job was done). Came two days later on time and replaced the glass, cleaned up after the work, and wore shoe covers in house. It looks great!

They were prompt and their rates are reasonable. They responded to any questions that I had before I chose them. They did what was promised in a very professional manner. Everything looks great! I would choose them again when the need arises.

Fantastic work done on a relatively challenging project. Final price was exactly as estimated. I don't write many reviews, but their work deserved one. If I need window work done again, I will call them first!

This company was extremely nice and had excellent customer service. I called for an estimate and they were able to set one up within a couple days. The person measuring was prompt and at my house before our appointment. He was very friendly and answered all of my questions. I wish I had gone with this service provider instead of the one that we hired. I got a few more estimates than this one and Trustworthy was the second lowest bid. They were to e-mail me an additional quote but must have forgot. I ultimately went with another company because the price was quite a bit lower and they offered a coupon but the quality suffered.

They replaced the glass in one of the sliding doors to shower. Matched the patterned glass of the other door and were prompt in responding to first contact and subsequent installation. They kept everything neat and were very pleasant to work with. I do not have a comparison, pricewise, but it seemed fair to me. Good job, well done and timely.......very satisfied.

These guys are great! I have used them on a previous occasion which is why I did not hesitate to call them when I needed to replace some glass in my mother's town home unit.

Honestly? These guys are THE REAL DEAL! There are MANY reasons why they continue to receive 5 star ratings. 1. They come to your house when they say they will. In our case the Dad, Andy Sr. ( this is a family business) came to look the job over. Gave me all the facts about what might happen when they removed the existing mirrors?because how they were attached with the previous service was obviously an unknown. I was given a price and was told they would call for a down payment once the mirrors had been ordered and they knew when they would receive them. I was also told at that time that they were in their busiest season ever. Andy told me it could be a two month wait. SO?I was prepared up front with the potential install time. 2. I was called for the down payment ( Andy JR's wife answers the phone and does the calling to clients.) and was told the product would be in their hands in about a week and when they expected to do the installation. 3. I had been told that the installation time was expected to be about two hrs because of the unknown regarding getting the mirrors off the wall. It went much quicker than expected. I think they were in and out in about one hr. 4. The bathroom was spotless when they left. No papers, tape, glue, shards of glass. I paid the balance of the bill at completion, was given instructions to not use the shower area for a week, if possible, to let the glue dry. 5. When Andy Sr. and Andy Jr. where walking out our door, Andy Jr. was sweeping a few bits of grass that had come off their shoes when they covered them with protectors, when they entered the house. Wonderful family and fabulous work. Done on time, with installation specifics given and the price was more than fair for a complete wall of mirrors. This great family business has just been asked and completed a filming of one of their installations for one of the "THIS OLD HOUSE" type programs. I would certainly use them again.

We had a cracked window and they were very responsive and had the best price

Acorns took out two roof panels in our 40-year old green house. Trustworthy Glass was called based on their Angie's List ratings. Andy and his colleagues showed up when scheduled to do the estimate. The repair required tempered glass which had to be ordered. They called back when the glass arrived (just when they had told me to expect it). A time was set to remove the damaged glass and install the new. Andy arrived when scheduled and despite the challenges of working on the top of a greenhouse promptly and efficiently made the repair - all in time for us to get our frost-sensative plants inside before the season's first freeze. The price was precisely as quoted. We definitely will call them again if we need galss repair work done.

Excellent service, professional, quality work. Andy was prompt on both the bid and service call. Moulding was preserved when he removed the window and the final result couldn't have been better.

It was a simple process where I was able to drop off the window and have it repaired. The price sounded reasonable. I am very happy with the work and would work with Trustworthy Glass again.

Overall experience was excellent. They delivered an estimate that was competitive with others solicited. They communicated with me throughout the process from the time I placed an order for the work to when the glass was in and ready to be installed. They were very professional and polite.

Trustworthy Glass were on time, ready to do the job. They put covers over there boots before coming into the home. This told me right away that they respected the home owners property. They removed the mirrors and removed the shower door with frame. They were very careful hauling out the old material. They brought in the new material covered and took parts out as needed. They cleaned up after themselves and removed all other material. Both my wife and I were very pleased with the workmanship and quality of the job. Later this year or early next year i plan on having them back to do other work for us.

When I had the house sided, the siding around the window was a tight fit. As I replaced the window after washing it, it broke a corner as I had to force it in. I considered taking the window in, which would have saved me some money, but it was about 3 inches too wide for the bed in my SUV. It would have been necessary to transport it at an angle, which I felt would increase the risk of breakage. I contacted Andy and he came out and gave me an estimate of $260 to do the job at my house. When I asked him to proceed, he said somebody would call me to schedule it. They did so and we set a date. later I realized we have another commitment, and called back to reschedule. No problem -- we agreed on a new date. They ran into a delay, and promptly called me to let me know, which was not a problem for me. But it was nice to know they had been delayed. I was pleased with their work, and would definitely use them again.

Very cordial. Took awhile to get scheduled, but I called the day after a big storm with lots of damage. On time.
