They transferred my system from the St. Paul to the Woodbury and back to the St. Paul shops, and I have had major problems with both. They don't return phone calls, they won't follow up with Philips to get answers, they have an excuse for everything (part is on order, can't find the part, someone threw away the part, Philips sent wrong part, etc.), they didn't submit the work correctly so it could get fixed (didn't have the order # Philips said it issued with every repair request). And now, finally, after a year when I want this resolved, I am accused of harassing them. People at work think I have been way too understanding. How many people would tolerate a year to get a resolution? And I still don't have my system - only a promise. This company has other bad reports with the BBB.
Description of Work: I purchased a Philip home video system that quit working while still under warranty. Tower TV is the authorized Philips repair shop. I brought the main unit to Tower TV for warranty repair on 5/25/05. They have been unable to make the necessary repairs. They had me bring the rest of the system in, so I have nothing now. It is June 2006 and I still don't have my system back. In late May I gave Sam the Customer Service contact from Philips, and that finally got a resolution to replace the system. I called Tower TV 6/5 to ask about the status and was told it wasn't up to them to find out. Since they don't return phone calls, I said I would call every day to find out if the system had been delivered to them, and Sam said if I did that he would consider it harassment. Even today I have no assurance that I will actually get my system back.

I WAS VERY PLEASED, IN A DAY WHEN IT SEEMS IT IS ALWAYS CHEAPER TO BUY NEW AND THROW AWAY THE OLD, I WAS VERY PLEASED TO FIND SOMEONE TO LOOK AT MY TV, AND FIX IT, FOR CHEAPER THAN TO BUY! THEY ALSO OFFER A SERVICE TO GET RID OF THE TV IF IT IS TOO EXPENSIVE TO FIX. FOR $25 THEY WILL TEAR IT DOWN, AND RECYCLE.
Description of Work: THIS COMPANY LOOKED AT MY 32' TV, 2 YEAR OLD TV, AND REPAIRED IT. I WENT TO THE WOODBURY STORE.
