touch of carpentry

Ernesto met with my wife to check out the Retro Treads and the overall project. When I spoke with him later I mentioned that the Retro Treads are 3/4" and he said they were smaller. I verified that he was correct. That was my first indicator that he was sharp. He arrived on time on Saturday to start the job with his son Mark. They got right to work and didn't get caught in too much of my idle chit chat. :) Ernesto called me each morning to let me know when he would arrive. He found solutions to problems during the work, showing that he clearly knows carpentry. They progressed as I expected and did an excellent job. Ernesto is a very hard worker and rarely slowed down or took a break. His energy was infectious and he is very joyful. I thoroughly enjoyed having him and his son at our house. They completed the project as expected. What I told Ernesto after he finished was that he is very productive, delivers high quality, and does it joyfully. I told him those are the same qualities I look for in people I hire for my Information Technology teams. I highly recommend Ernesto for any carpentry work you have. He specializes in stairs, doors, and trim work, but apparently has done pretty much everything related to carpentry, including framing for bridges.
