Description of Work: I contacted him around May of 2011 from his ad on Craigslist, Twin Cities, MN I am disabled and need ramps for my home entrances. I found his website which was nice, but non functioning because I couldn't leave any messages. I told him about it and he said there was a problem with his server company. He came out and measured and told me he had built wooden ramps before for the Wilder Foundation. He said he would send me an estimate I could send to my insurer.I needed ramps to make my home accessible. 3 ramps and grab bars installed in my bathroom for my tub. Troy emailed me the specs and I noticed he'd forgotten some details so he emailed me a revised estimate. Got him approved for my insurance company in approx July. I emailed him and he had other things scheduled. He was always very late like a week or two returning my phone calls. After many delays he finally came to my house with 2 of the ramps in about middle of Sept. They were painted white. We never spoke about the color and I told him I wanted them to be natural so I could put weather coating on them. Neither ramp fit. The sizes were all wrong. He left them in my garage and said he'd pick them up later and remeasured everything. Continually complaining he was going to have to eat the cost to redo them. I had to provide him with paper, pen, and tape measure to remeasure everything. After I thought about it for a day I called his number and told him that I'd reconsidered and didn't think I wanted him to make my ramps and that it wasn't working out. I also emailed him to make sure he got the message and asked when he could come and pick up the ramps he'd left at my house. After one week, two weeks, and over a month, I sent emails asking when he would pick them up. He has NEVER responded. Being disabled and not being able to move the things propped against my garage, I got in trouble with my Association who wanted them gone. I had to pay someone $20.00 to come and get them and get rid of them for me. Troy Lucci's Total House and Home is not someone I'd ever recommend.
