Description of Work: Removed baseboard molding on exterior walls and insulated under the sills behind the molding. Moved a fold down stair way in the garage to a more convenient location.

+ 1 moreHe is a friend who is a small contractor. He is really good and fast. He was very helpful in doing the main thing for us. It made a tremendous difference after doing that job. It was pretty much a day's work. He was busy all day. He did a lot of other things which would have taken probably half a day for my husband to do the job. He had a lot of expertise to do all these things. He is incredibly good at just being able to look at something and come up with a solution. He's a handyman and he does small contracting kind of jobs. He does remodeling and that kind of things. He's coming back in a couple of weeks. I would use his services again in the future.
Description of Work: I use Tom Able for handyman services. I last used his services in the last fall. Our home is on a slant. At the bottom of the wall where the carpet meets the wall at the trim piece, we were getting a breeze coming under the wall last winter. He took all the trim off and he put some kind of a foam in there to seal where it was open, all the way along the floor. It made a tremendous difference after that. The contractor, who did the job on our house earlier, hadn't properly done what he should have done. Tom also helped my husband put in a stairway up to the attic and moved the entrance to the attic over to a different location. He put some shelving for me. He did some other things too which I don't remember right now.
