house cleaning
+ -1 moreTom and his maids show up late, leave early and do the bare minimum and get out fast. When I ask for something to be done, all I get from Tom is a "we'll get to it next time" and it never happens. I asked to have my oven cleaned, they didn't bring any oven cleaner. 3 weeks later, it still isn't done. I ask to clean the walls. After 3 cleanings they finally wipe down with water. All these things I could do myself, yet a "professional" company can't get it right. Lastly, when I called his wife about their leaving early, Tom was supposed to give me an extra hour of cleaning. That week, he tells me that he made the call to not do it this week because they were running behind and he would "get to it next time" He never got around to it. I made the mistake of not doing my research on this company, don't make the same mistake I did. Stay away!! There are plenty of reputable cleaners out there, stay away from this hack.
Description of Work: The supposed "Meticulous" cleaner is no better than a 10 year old with a vaccum and broom. They advertise 5-6 hours of cleaning and you're lucky if you get 5 hours. Usually around 4.5 hours. Their idea of a clean home is vaccum and sweep. Then they take a rag with WATER and dust which only attracts more dust. Horrible company. The owner swore at me when I questioned him on his practices and his wife will not return any calls or emails. Horrible customer service, stay away!!

house cleaning

Description of Work: This cleaning service came for 2 consecutive months to our house. The first time they came they did a 6 hour cleaning for $99 which was a very good deal and is the reason we initially hired them. Then they came back for the 2nd month and charged up $119 for a 4 hour cleaning. They were not able to complete the work in the allotted time and were admittedly rushed in trying to do so. They came back the next day to finish some of the work, but again could not complete the work to our standard. We decided that we would not have them back, but in the course of the ending the relationship with this company the owner of this company sent a sexually explicit text message to my wife on accident. When confronted with the incident the owner apologized and noted that it was an "honest mistake". He became defensive when asked how he would make this up to us and then the conversation ended. Based on our experience with this company I would not advise anyone to have them clean your house. We were disappointed and my wife was disgusted.

house cleaning

Description of Work: I wrote the last report. I was happy for about 2 months with them. Then they had a new girl come in. I was ok with her the first time didn't do a great cleaning job. Second time she came in again didn't do a great job in fact her part of the house was bad Tom's portion awesome he is great. The next day there was $1000.00 charged to my credit card at the Mall of America. The card was on the counter because I had used it to make a phone transaction and forgot to put it back in my purse. The new girl took it and charged it up. There was zero access to the house from anyone else. There was someone home at the time of cleaning but they weren't in the kitchen with her and the card is now missing. Be careful.
