Description of Work: I would highly recommend Transformed Tree. I have worked with them as a designer on three projects ranging from a whole house renovation and addition to a kitchen renovation. Their ability to estimate the project and propose realistic material choices to meet budget was always outstanding. The homeowner's all felt respected and having Transformed Tree in their homes was always comfortable. The projects were conducted with a good eye for details. They excel at handling renovations where you would like to keep your existing details, they find straightforward solutions where other contractors tell you it is impossible or unreasonable to preserve portions of a historic house. If they have a weakness it is that sometimes when my clients were getting overwhelmed by the building process and schedule, they are sometimes not in tune with the mood of the clients and there with reassurance and communication when it is needed. Every project I have worked on with them has been done is a reasonable time frame and per the budget outlined when the project began. They are willing to work with homeowners who would like to do parts of their project themselves.

Description of Work: Built a three-season porch with sliding doors and tile floor, skylights, on back of house, installed wood flooring throughout the house--3 bedrooms, living, family, dining rooms. Skim-coated living room and dining room ceilings and added crown molding throughout. Refinished into 3 areas, an unfinished 1400 sq. ft basement, ceilings, sheetrock, closet, vinyl flooring., lighting, electric Did some bathroom remodeling--countertops, shower doors, fixtures, in 2 bathrooms. Widened a bedroom door to a double wide for accessibility. Reconfigured a kitchen cabinet to accommodate a new refrigerator. Installed tiling on laundry floor, matched and added slate in hallway. Built a corner-to-corner floor to ceiling wall unit with gas fireplace (it is gorgeous). Did plumbing and electric work, updating and adding outlets, exhaust fans, light fixtures, circuit breakers, .Made numerous small repairs throughout the house.

Description of Work: I used The Transformed Tree Remodelers & Cabinet Makers to come out and look at a bathroom remodeling project; but they never gave us an estimate.

Description of Work: I got a bid from The Transformed Tree Remodelers & Cabinet Makers last month for a two storey addition and remodeling.

Description of Work: Replaced cabinet hinges and/or fixed hinges through out the house. Arranged for electricians to install replacement under cabinet lights.
