He was very pleasant to work with. He gave us a quote when he arrived and stayed within the quote. He is very efficient. I would describe him as an old fashioned, honest, handyman, that can do everything!

Just moved into home that previously never had a dishwasher. The initial plan was to get the dishwasher installed but Mike said it would be easy to add the garbage disposal as well so we went with that. From the initial call to the final service everything went smooth and great. I called and talked to their call service but was contacted only a few hours later for initial contact. Mike came the next day to look at the space and give us his thoughts. Once we got the dishwasher delivered Mike came the very next day and got it installed. He took the full day to do everything but Mike did not even take a lunch break. He worked throughout the day and never got frustrated. Very happy how everything turned out. We will definitely be using Handyman Can in the future.

I had a wall in my townhouse that I wanted to remove to open up the space. I spoke with John on Friday and he was able to start and finish the work on the following Monday. They performed exactly the work I requested. They informed me every step of the way, outlined the costs, and completed the work effectively and efficiently. I will definitely use The Handyman Can again for my household projects.

When we called, we expressed our desire to get it done quickly. They were able to get someone as early as that afternoon, but I decided to wait a few days. The day before, the owner called us to make sure the time still worked. Mike showed up promptly at the time he was expected. He told us how he would fix it. We asked for it to be fixed in a different way. He listened and fixed it just how we wanted it fixed. He added a stud where he fixed our drywall to give it more stability. . He was willing to let my husband go to the store to purchase materials which helped save some money. When he finished the work, he cleaned up and gave us direction on how long to keep the area dry. Mike showed consideration in little ways by making sure his car was parked in a place that wouldn't block us in the garage. He was not sure how to pronounce my husband's name, so he asked me to make sure he had it correct. The owner called us that evening to make sure that the work was done well and that we were satisfied with it. The work was professional and the customer service was exceptional. I highly recommend this company.

Originally contacted The Handyman Can because of a leak around framework of a dining room window. John examined the window casing (inside) and then looked at window outside. He pointed out that he believed the leak was because of missing slate roof tile directly above the leak area. Had no idea we were even missing any tile. So, he could not fix the leak/window but he was able to work on some other areas as noted above. 1) Johnny Thomas, owner, was very thorough in explaining his prices. There is a one-hour fee of $150 (which is pretty standard) and then $75 for each additional hour. He made two trips to the neighborhood hardware store for supplies and took the second trip off the clock because he felt he should have gotten all the supplies in one trip. 2) My original telephone call was returned promptly and an appointment was set up quickly. Another company that I had contacted for an estimate called me back hours later. By then, The HandyMan was already on the job. 3) I felt the work was performed efficiently, honestly and quickly. Sure, I wish the first hour fee was cheaper, but I feel confident in the quality of this work performed.

The Handyman Can! Had a great experience with Johnny. Initially hired for appliance installation, and needed to modify some cabinets to accommodate a taller refrigerator. No problems - Johnny pulled down the cabinets, modified, and put them back up. I have already hired The Handyman Can for our next project.

John came out the next day after our call, right on time, and went right to work. He was thorough, professional and friendly. We anticipate contacting him again in the spring for some of his other handyman skills.

I called John and he responded quickly. He came out the same day of the break-in and replaced the door. The job was quality, although it took longer than he anticipated. Having John fix the door that day went a long way towards restoring the peace of mind that the break-in took away. Thanks John!

Did an estimate 3 months prior and when i was ready they were here within a week and done in 2 days.

I never received a response to my initial query. We have since elected to pursue other ventures.

The project went well. He was on time and performed the work efficiently. It took about 4 hours to complete the work and it looked very well done.

The Handyman was very professional. He was very compitent about his work and the price was very good. His price under cut some of the fulol service contractors. He did run into a few problems, but overall the work was good. It took him a little longer then I anticipated for him to complete the work, but I was patient because I understand that handymen normally work alone.

We called someone else. This person was recommended by a friend.

Came very soon after I called. Completed job quickly & efficiently & seemed very competent & confident. Reduced charge because short time required.

John does a great job, way too expensive. He did exactly what he said he was going to do and stayed in touch w/ me throughout process.

JOHN IS EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE. HIS HOURLY RATE IS $95/HOUR. I HAD HIM DO THE WORK BECAUSE I WAS OVER THE BARREL IN TERMS OF A DEADLINE TO GET THE PROJECT DONE FOR SELLING A HOUSE AND WAS OUT OF ALTERNATIVES. I HAVE HAD EQUIVALENT WORK DONE FOR ABOUT 2/3 THE COST ($65/HR).

HE WORKED VERY HARD, HE WAS A PERFECTIONIST, WANTED WORK DONE.
