I was contacted by the owner Johnny Thomas and received a quote. I asked for a revised quote including all of the material and we agreed to a price for the whole job. I made a small downpayment towards the materials and Johnny delivered the materials the same day. I wanted to pre-paint the doors and trim, so it took a few weeks to get that done, but when completed, Johnny scheduled the work right away. The actual handyman, Colin, performed the necessary work in a reasonable time frame and did a great job. The two doors look great and the siding job needed to be delayed, due to some water infiltration issues that Colin discovered. I am dealing with a siding contractor on the warranty issues. Johnny joined Colin in making sure the jobsite was cleaned properly and everything was done according to our plan. Overall, I thought the whole experience was good.

I haven't had him over for any services. My house is not that old and is in good condition. If I needed anything I would surely use him again.

Johnny came over, assessed what needed to be done. He advised he could immediately proceed with the job, we agreed, and he called Menard's to see if they had a door in stock. He went and picked the door, necessary locks and trim and returned. He removed the old service door to the garage, prepped the opening and installed the new door. He also resolved another issue that was brought up after the fact. After everything was done he hauled the old stuff away. He did an awesome job.

It went real good he was courteous and friendly. And he came out the same day I called.

I had Colin as my handyman and he was much more skilled than I expected. Their hourly price is high for a "handyman" but Colin was extremely fast so I feel that their price was worth it. He was very professional and his work was excellent! I would definitely hire them again! I could not be happier.

Johnny Thomas, the owner, contacted us promptly and set up an appointment the following week. Eric arrived a few minutes early, evaluated the job, and then gave us two options, a quick fix that would involve removing 6 tiles, tilting the shelf slightly, and re-tiling, or a complete re-do of the entire shelf area in our shower. After discussing the options, we decided to go with the quick fix, since there was nothing wrong with the rest of the shelf. Eric used the material we had left over and was done in 3 hours. The tile looks perfect. Johnny was in communication the entire time, with a reminder of our appointment and a follow-up after it was done via text. We appreciate being able to communicate via text. We will definitely use him again.

He was very helpful. He wasn’t able to do the job because there was a larger leaking issue in one of my bathrooms. He said it wasn’t ethical for him to do the caulking. He gave me some ideas of how we can fix the grout ourselves for the little repair in one bathroom and the major repair in our other bathroom, but encouraged us to look into the leak. I was very appreciative of his advice.

Mike (?) was very knowledgeable and skiullful, and the quality of his work was terrific. The tub/shower looks like new.

Very thorough. Explained process before, during and after. Returned, very graciously, a 2nd time to tweak a small area in shower that did not set properly the first visit, at no charge. Great workmanship and work ethic!

It was finished within the 3 hours allowed. Looks great.

I had purchased an Angie's List Big Deal. Shortly after I had, I received a prompt text message and email asking when I'd like to schedule them to come. I was already very impressed with the responsiveness. Once we figured out the time, the day before the appointment from Mike and we talked about the things that I needed done. The next day he showed up right on time. I showed him where the work needed to be done, and he taught us a few things with how to proper maintain and deal with various issues around the house. I needed help with putting up some shelves in the garage, he looked at the area and gave me an exact list of what we'd need (bracket sizes, shelf sizes, etc) and then while he worked hard and fast and did an amazing job on the grouting, I went and got the parts. When I got back, he showed me the grouting job and it looked great! I was really happy, he even went over and beyond and did additional areas to make them look new again. Then with the remaining time, he proceeded to put up the shelves. He measured the areas, made sure they looked straight, and now our garage looks so much better and we're put more things on the shelves that were cluttered on the floor. We were very happy and have a list of more things we need done, we're looking forward to having them do more work for us soon! Thanks again for the great work and service!

Mike the technician was on time and finished the job nicely in the agreed upon time frame. The grouting looks great and he left the work site cleaned up.

There were some surprise issues that were fixed without additional charges

Every aspect of this service was outstanding. The receptionist who took my initial call was unusually pleasant and helpful. The owner of the company called us before and after the service to ensure our satisfaction. The handyman did an amazing job with all of the disparate jobs we threw at him. We've already started our list for the next time we have The Handyman Can come out.

I would not hesitate to use the Vendor again for a special deal, but please note their 'normal' rates are significantly higher than other handymen in the area.

Mike showed up promptly, worked fast and did great work in that time! Very friendly and professional. I will have them back when I need more work done!

I purchased an Angie's Big Deal for $99 for 3 hours of grout work. The repair man called the night before confirm the appointment time and then called the next morning to say he was tied up in traffic due to the snow storm and would be a bit late. He wanted to make sure that was okay. When he arrived he apolized again for being late. After I showed him the bathroom shower he did warn he that the chemicals he would be using smelled and he wanted to make sure that was okay. He sent the next 3 hours removing the old caulk and applying new. He also touched up a few spots on the grout lines. I felt this was the correct way to go -- rather than trying to caulk on top of the old stuff. The repair man brought his own garbage bag and took the garbage with him when he left. My shower looks great now. I was very impressed with the friendly manner of the repair man and the fact that he took the time to remove the old caulk. I will use this firm in the future when I have other handyman projects.

Mike was great - on time, courteous, and professional. I showed him what needed to be done and he got right to it. He worked quickly and got everything on my list done in a very timely manner. I will definitely hire the company again for other jobs I need done around the house.

Michael arrived on time and promptly verified what we needed done. He worked right along, asking for "sign off" at key points. He finished on time and provided additional recommendation for ongoing upkeep of the tile. He did a VERY GOOD job; we are very pleased!

He was super professional. Very clean. Very knowledgeable. Shared a lot of information with me that I didn't have before. I would highly recommend them. They came from 45 minutes away.

He arrived right on time and went right to work. He was very professional, courteous and pleasant, He took his time and paid attention to detail. He did a precise and excellent job. He had a few minutes left out of his time allotted and he took the time to caulk a section on my vanity downstairs also. I was very impressed with his work.

I was very pleased with Mike. He was prompt, professional and a hard worker. He explained issues to me as he went along... knowing it would probably take longer than the 3 hours. He was honest and diligent. He gave me recommendations for the future to help prevent this from happening again. Great work ethics. Easy to communicate with. I purchased this deal because I haven't been able to devote the time to get the grout cleaned and bathroom re-caulked in a home I purchased a few years ago because I have been working on other remodel/renovation projects. I intend to remodel this bathroom in the next 2 years and needed to ensure it remained in decent condition until then. The contractor was very responsive when I called to scheduled - he let me know that I needed to purchase the grout cleaner and brush for his employee to use. I didn't notice if this was in the deal or not, but since it wasn't expensive I didn't care too much. We also discussed that I was likely require more than 3 hours of work to complete the job. Mike came out to the house for the appointment that was made (we were on the schedule within just a few days). He arrived exactly on time. Mike was very personable, he went over what service we wanted, ensured we had the right supplies for him. We needed a different grout brush which I ran out to get while he started to strip the caulk. He was very conscious about ensuring he was actively working so we weren't paying for my time to run to get the new brush. During the project Mike checked with me a few times to make sure I was satisfied with the work he was doing. I really appreciated that. He didn't move forward until he knew I was satisfied. Mike was really energetic, worked fast and efficiently. In all, the work took just about 5 hours. He took a short break which he did not charge me for.

The job went well I had prepped the shower area by taking down the shower curtain and removing everything before he arrived He stripped and recaulked in 3 hours. It looks great!
