Tod was an excellent partner. He was the most reasonable bidder and really listened to what we wanted (he was the only remodeler who found a creative way for us to save our laundry chute). He was flexible when we wanted to pick out tile and fixtures. His crew was neat, clean, professional and the work is beautiful. Tod constantly checked in with us during the job, and when a small side job (new kitchen sink) turned out to have a quality issue, Tod dealt with it immediately and replaced the sink. I would highly recommend working with Tod and we will use him again on future remodeling work.

From start to finish the service and execution of the project were excellent. I've worked as a carpenter before, so I had some pretty specific ideas about what I wanted, including a few aspects of the project I wanted to do myself. I also had a plumber already selected to do the plumbing rough-in. Tod had no problem working with me under those circumstances, and helping me develop my design. I'm pretty particular about how the quality of the finish work, and have had trouble before in getting work done that I am satisfied with. But the project came out great, fully meeting my expectations. Although there were a handful of things that I felt didn't come out as well as they should the first time, Tod was very responsive to those comments and requests, and corrected everything to my satisfaction. In many instances he pursued me for my punch list, and made sure everything was completely right before he called it a finished product. Tod and his crew were respectful and professional, problem solvers and easy going at the same time. Finally, I felt that I got a lot of work done at a very fair and reasonable price. Highly recommended.

He came the day I called which I thought was pretty awesome, but I didn't use him. I decided to use someone else.

Overall we had a good experience. The team was punctual and responded well to any concern we had. A few hiccups with installing some tile in the shower and a few other details here and there, but the problems was fixed after we brought them up. Tod and his team were very friendly and easy to deal with. Price a little higher than the other bids. Highlight was a custom vanity that Tod's cabnit guy created..very nice. Overall, B+ / A -

It went well. I usually do my own work or have family members assist so hiring a contractor was a big step. I'm pretty picky. For a little room, this had a lot done to it. Price was in line with other estimates I had gotten, however some of the additional issue charges (see above) seemed a bit high. I did ask Tod for a breakdown of materials and labor on original quote, but he indicated he didn't break things out in his quotes. Another Angie's Lister had mentioned this as well. Tod and his crew are responsive and diligent. If I wasn't happy with something, they fixed it - they answered questions and explained things. His plumbing and electrical subcontractors are very good and just as professional. The project took a little longer than originally forecasted, even without Fed Ex damaging the first set of shower doors. I graded them an A because they showed up as promised and finished the job! My grading of a B on quality was based on the ceramic tile work - specifically the field tiles and the cutting the field tile for the inlaid slate tiles and installation. Overall Tod's guys did a good job - everything works, job is done. I would consider hiring them again.

Tod was helpful in advising how best to deal with damage resulting from a broken water pipe. His crew is very friendly, professional and accommodating. Our new floor looks great and feels very solid. Pricing for repair to 1st floor wall/ceiling (add-on to original job--skim-coat of wall; sheet rock on ceiling) seemed a bit high. But overall work was done satisfactorily and I am pleased with the experience.

Todd was very practical and understood the reality of a family's budget. Todd personally helped with all aspects of design, layout, material selection, and great advice and suggestions. The result is very high quality that immediately provided a great living space addition to our house. We could tell that Todd, Joe and Steve took great pride in their work. They stick to the budget and the schedule. A great value we would recommend with no hesitation.

They did everything that they were asked to do. I might hire them again if needed.

We were very impressed with the level of expertise and professionalism Tod Peterson exhibits in his work. During his visit to our home, he made careful notes and we received an estimate in a timely manner. We requested an itemized estimate which would allow us to determine the cost of each component, enabling us to decide which items we wanted to include in our final plans. When we received the estimate, it was very detailed but the costs were only broken down by subtotals for each room, not by each component (such as replacement of bath tub for $ ______.) We were working on a bit of a tight time frame and we were not able to take the time to request another bid from TG Peterson. We selected another contractor, but I am confident TG Peterson would have done a great job. We will certainly consider them for other projects in the future.

Tod Peterson worked with me on all the details of our bathroom, and I was most impressed by his attention to details and his focus. He was extremely helpful with things we hadn't thought about. We were able to leave for a long planned vacation for twelve whole days. The workers came and went while we were gone. When we returned the job was half done, and took two more weeks to complete. The workers were all polite and professional. I actually enjoyed interacting with them. While we were out of the country, Tod made a decision about adding some pressure boosters, as we were unavailable to discuss this with him. I felt ok with this, even though it increased the cost. Even though I thought the total cost was a bit high, I felt that we never had to worry that we would not get good quality work and professionalism.

My overall experience was great & work was completed well by all tradesman.

Tod was courteous and helpful throughout the remodel. He gave us ideas on how to save money (i.e. save the old door and have it refinished instead of placing a new one). He told us the job would take about two to three weeks and so it was. The other two contractors gave a six week minimum work completion time. This was important to us as this was our only bathroom. Tod also reset the toilet every night but two as we requested. At one point I noticed that the new toilet had a flaw in it. Tod came by the next day, checked it out and replaced the toilet. He was also a good resource on types of hand-held showers. His vendors were less expensive for the fixtures we wanted. Somehow he arranged that the inspectors arrived in a timely manner, so the work could go on without interruption. It is now a year since we had the remodel and we are very happy with the work and the bathroom. It looks great! P.S. We got Tod's name from Angie's List.

Tod gave a detailed estimate, and answered all our questions before we signed the contract. All during the process Tod constantly informed us of the exact financial implications of any changes we requested. He answered all our questions clearly and promptly. He kept us informed about the progress of the project and we knew what to expect each week. Tod, Joe and Steve were unfailingly courteous, as were the subs. They were knowledgeable, efficient, and really seemed to enjoy their work. They were on time every day, neat, and careful of our property. The job came in on time and on budget. We are very happy with the work and have received many compliments on the bathroom.

The key question is - "Would I use TG Peterson again?" The answer is without a doubt - yes. We are overall pleased with the work done and the completed project. However, as a customer with very high expectations I would state that TG Peterson is not perfect, but a 'very good' contractor. We selected TG Peterson from 3 other remodelers. They did not have the lowest bid (thus B grade for pricing) for similar portions of the job. TG Peterson's biggest assets are professionalism, predictability, and dependability. TG Peterson gives you a schedule up front for construction. The project was completed on time, on budget, and per schedule. Todd & his staff are knowledgeable, professional, and respected our time, house, and family. We were disappointed with the quality of the painting / staining job (uniformity / color matching). To TG Peterson's credit, they fixed most of the concerns in this area after we pointed them out.

Tod, Joe and their subcontractors did an absolutely gorgeous job;we could not be more thrilled with our new bathroom. They are extremely professional, easy to work with and very very good at cleaning up. The quality of work is outstanding!

The plans that were supplied with the bid were clear. The crew worked well and cleaned up the area each day. They did a very nice job, especially with the shower over which they tiled the ceiling to match the floor tile. That detail added a lot of class. There were a few extras that needed to be done to be up to code, but the bid was very close to the final cost. I would recommend the company.

Very professional and very pleasant. Estimate was well presented and Todd inspired confidence. Project is more expensive than we anticipated so we are postponing a few months. TG Peterson's price was right in line with two other contractors we spoke with.

We are going to accept his bid and have him do the work. I expect it will be an excellent job.

We had three contractors come to give us estimates on finishing a small roughed-in bathroom. One company wanted $400 just to do a plan so we eliminated them. Tod Peterson gave us a detailed and reasonable estimate. Another company gave us an estimate that was significantly more so we decided to have TG Peterson do the work. We asked for some modifications so the estimate and plan were adjusted accordingly. After we picked out the tile and fixtures, Tod's workers started the job. The work was very good quality, done according to specifications and in a reasonable amount of time. We highly recommend TG Peterson Construction.
