 + -1 morePrice: quoted around $75-80, but didn't mention charging extra for the roots. Quality: looks really good and he raked all the wood to one spot. Responsiveness: answered the phone and came out the next day. Punctuality: appointment was for 10am. At 10:10 he called and said he was running an hour late. Professionalism: we had a lot of cables/wires close to the stump but he was confident that nothing would be disturbed- and he was right.
Description of Work: Ground up stump that was about two feet wide and roots.

 + -1 moreJob 1: I was contacted quickly and professionally by the owner. Our neighbor needed a stump ground, too, and they did the work in one trip. Job 2: Great work! Jim is a Good Guy. The week he ground up the stump my mother-in-law passed away. Jim didn't think it would be right to worry me with a bill that week, so he waited a bit and then gave me a call. A guy like that deserves all the work he can get! Thanks, Jim!

 + -1 moreI called Jim and he told me what he charged for the width of each stump. He was willing to remove the stumps that day, but we decided on May 10th since I was going to be home all day. Jim was a little late getting to my house, but he did a great job removing the stumps and I would definitely hire him again.
Description of Work: They removed two tree stumps from my yard.

 + -1 moreWERE ABLE TO START WORK ON THE SAME DAY I FIRST MADE CONTACT WITH THEM. THEIR PRICE WAS COMPETITIVE-I WAS TOLD BY A FEW OTHER COMPANIES THAT ONE OF THE LARGER STUMPS WOULD COST $400 OR $500, WHILE THIS COMPANY WAS ABLE TO GRIND 4 STUMPS FOR $800. IT'S A MESSY JOB, BUT THEY OBVIOUSLY TOOK ALL EFFORTS TO AVOID DAMAGING SURROUNDING PLANTS. THEY ALSO TRIED TO KEEP THE DEBRIS IN HEAPS, BY SWEEPING INTO EACH HEAP. I WAS TOLD MANY TIMES BY THE OWNER THAT I SHOULD CALL IF, BY CHANCE, ANY PART OF THE STUMP WAS NOT REMOVED.
Description of Work: CAME OUT TO GIVE ESTIMATE ON THE SAME DAY I HAD CALLED. GROUND TWO LARGE MAPLE STUMPS AND TWO SMALLER STUMPS THAT SAME DAY.

 + -1 moreEXCELLENT. JIM WAS AVAILABLE IMMEDIATELY AND WAS DONE WITH THE JOB IN 10 MINUTES. THEN HE RAKED UP THE MULCH AND CLEANED THE AREA. HE WAS VERY FRIENDLY, AND KNEW WHAT HE WAS DOING. WE FIRST TRIED CALLING BERNIE'S STUMP REMOVAL (RECOMMENDED BY ANGIE'S LIST), BUT BERNIE DIDN'T COME AS FAR SOUTH AS LAKEVILLE, SO HE RECOMMENDED JIM JENSEN. IT WAS AN EXCELLENT REFERRAL.
