We were looking for a painter and Steve was referred by a friend so we hired him to do work on my grandmother's house. He did excellent work. Everything came out looking top notch. My grandmother was very happy with him. In fact, we had him do quite a bit of work in our own home after that. He's our go-to guy from now on.

Steve was a pleasure to work with. He was very honest, friendly and informative. He helped guide me with color selections, which was incredibly helpful and the work performed turned out looking great. He was always on time and left the house very clean and orderly at the end of each day. He's been in the business for a long time and it's apparent that he really knows his stuff. He's a real pro.

He went out of his way to make the whole job a pleasant experience. He painted the foyer and kitchen in one apartment and showed how detail oriented he is in his work. The other apartment had a problem with the bathroom and Steve did a superior job correcting the previous paint problems.

I contacted Steve with a rush job--to get our kitchen wallpaper removed and repainted, and our main bathroom repainted so we could list our home for sale. We thought it was ready to list and were caught off guard when our realtor strongly recommended neutral colors in those two rooms. We thought this was going to hold us up for 2 weeks while we did it ourselves. I thought I'd give Angie's List another try (I've had great luck with it). Ie talked to 2 highly rated painters, Steve was one. The other couldn't get to the job for 3 weeks, but we caught Steve at an opportune time. He came over that day during the noon hour and gave us a quote and considerable advice on what to do to save time and money. (He knew his stuff and told us a much easier way to remove wallpaper than what they showed on the HGTV shows.) After hearing the quote and Steve's estimate of only 2 days to get it all done, we jumped at the chance. Steve had some jobs he could juggle so he was able to start the next morning. He showed up on time and spent the better part of 2 days finishing our job. I said this before, but he knows his stuff and works quickly and efficiently. The rooms look great. It was worth it and we are very appreciative and fortunate he was able to get to us so quickly. He also told us that he is a bit of an artist with paint and can do anything from our simple job up through a full hand painted mural. If it's really complicated, he enlists the aid of his artist daughter to help. I wish that we were moving in rather than out so we could have found something a little more creative to test that out. Angie's List came through again. I highly recommend Steve and would definitely use him again.

Very pleasant to work with, arrived on time, completed work on time. Gave me good advice about my project, offered suggestions for the future. I would definitely hire him again!

I called Steve to ask for an estimate. He was on another job, but said he would stop over on his lunch hour. He arrived promptly at noon. I showed him what I wanted done and he gave me some suggestions on color choices. His estimate was quite reasonable and I hired him to start the following Tuesday. I was also having some work done on my kitchen floor and Steve was quite accommodating with which rooms he worked on to allow the other workman to get in. In addition to the agreed upon painting, Steve cleaned up my baseboards (from previous painting) and did some sanding in the lower bathroom. I felt he went above and beyond what you would expect from a painter. His work was excellent and he actually finished ahead of schedule! I would highly recommend Steve's Painting to anyone who is looking for a painter.

Steve is truly an artist. His work is absolutely impeccable and gorgeous. Everyone is blown away by the finishes in my house. He is communicative, punctual and he has a great eye. Trust him with color and design -- you won't be disappointed.
