St Paul Pipeworks

We have used St. Paul Pipeworks for several jobs. Their plumbers are friendly, efficient and do excellent work. Would definitely recommend.

They were prompt, courteous, and reasonable. They also took time to explain everything to me. The work area was left clean and tidy. They wore masks and went overboard to be helpful. Everything about this project was professional and I was very pleased.

I can’t say enough how much I appreciate the work done by the plumber who came to my newly purchased condo. I had a long list of plumbing needs including cutting and fitting metal pipes. He did a quick and fantastic job.

Excellent. Professional, prompt and friendly. They completed all the work in one day, no surprises. Ahead of time, Craig was knowledgeable and thorough in his assessment of our water pressure problem and he was helpful in explaining the work that might need to be done and was friendly in answering our questions, He prepared us for the worst case scenario (final estimate would require going into the walls), but then as the work unfolded, he did everything he could to find and implement solutions that were cost effective and would still get the job done to his professional standards and to a high degree of satisfaction for us. He looked at everything from a broad perspective and made sure we took care of a few small things that could have developed into bigger problems if not addressed. Craig and his crew were careful regarding shoe covers and were careful to only do minimal wall damage that was absolutely necessary to access the pipes. Final cost was lower than initially expected. We couldn't be more pleased and highly recommend Craig and St Paul Pipeworks to others.

The repairs went well. The workers protected their shoes so as not to track in, they quickly assessed what the problem was and what parts were needed, explained what they were doing and made the necessary repairs. I've used St. Paul Pipeworks in the past, and they have always been terrific.

Easy to work with. Came when they say they would. Everything went beautiful.

My questions were answered and the job was completed in a timely manner. The work was solid. I also had a question about gas pipes in the basement and they went down and looked and answered it. This is the second time I have used them.

I hired St Paul Pipeworks a week ago to replace an old, leaking water heater with a new, 40-gallon, AO Smith water heater. Their pricing was inline with other estimates I received and their communication and customer service is what really stood out to me. Keith provided a fair and transparent estimate and quickly responded to any questions I had. Craig was the plumber replacing the water heater and he did a fantastic job. He was friendly, explained what he was doing, provided clear insight into what needed to be updated to current code, and before he left made sure I knew how to operate the water heater. He worked fast and left no trace that he was there other than a well-performing, new water heater. I highly recommend St Paul Pipeworks and will definitely hire them again.

I was able to get on their schedule right away. Paul (and one colleague who came for a few min for lifting help) was on time, friendly, professional, knowledgeable, quick, did a great job and left everything spotless.

Craig has done a number of jobs around the house for us over the last few months--installing a new hot water heater after the old one broke, replacing a toilet shutoff valve, cleaning out a plugged drain (and giving us good advice about how to prevent the problem in the future), replaced a drain in our tub, advising us on a few other planned projects, etc. He is FANTASTIC: professional, knowledgeable, quick, and an excellent communicator. These are not qualities that I've always encountered in a plumber, and we've tried several in the Twin Cities before finding Craig and St. Paul Pipeworks. We won't be looking for another plumber!

The two plumbers that came to the house did an excellent and efficient job fixing a number of problems in the original plumbing on the sinks, faucets, and toilets of a ~50 year old house. There were some problems with both the old plumbing and some of the new faucets that we bought as replacements that they solved on the spot. They were very respectful and hard working. I appreciated the detailed list of the cost of all of the work in advance of their visit. They came in a little under the estimate.

The experience with St. Paul Pipeworks was great! We noticed our hot water heater leaking last night, called them this morning and they were at our house by early afternoon. In less than 2 hours, our hot water was back and they left our house without a trace. Phil and Mike were very pleasant and professional. The estimate that Keith provided over the phone matched the actual cost. No surprises.

Scheduling was easy and Craig and Mike did an excellent job not only in resolving our problems but also in providing a lot of helpful information. We have recently purchased the home and had lots of questions about the plumbing. Craig provided the answers we needed- priceless!

The plumbing in our old house has been a ticking time bomb and it was only a matter of time before major work needed to be done. This happened when our upstairs tub got clogged and my husband tried to fix it with no such luck. We had another company come out to give us a quote and made our heads spin with the prices they were giving us. I found St. Paul Pipeworks on Angie’s list and immediately noticed all the positive reviews. Their receptionist was friendly and helpful with figuring out a time to get someone out to look at the work. Keith went out of his way to work around our schedules. Craig and Mike were the guys that came to do the job and we couldn’t be happier. Craig did a great job explaining things to both my husband and I and also gave advice to my husband on easy repairs he could do on his own. We would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a honest, hardworking plumber and plan on using St. Paul Pipeworks for our future plumbing needs :)

Good. Got an appointment for the following day. Plumber called to see if I was available earlier than scheduled time. This worked out, and everything was fixed in a timely manner!

Great! Kitchen faucet fixed and leak found in bathtub that is still under warranty! We would have never found that there was a flaw in the tub. Thanks for the efficiency of doing everything needed to find the leak!

Was able to remove the trap arm, tape threads, install new brass adapter and chrome trap. Craig and Billy were polite and thorough in their explanation. Happy that they were able to do the repairs without moving the pedestal leg, which is a significantly greater cost.

It went very well. Very personable people and the plumber did a fantastic job! We would definitely rehire. It's nice to know the job was done right!!

Quick appt and quick thorough work. Installer was on time and called on his way. He was prepared for everything and left the sites clean and functional.
