It was really bad.

In addition, I asked how much it would cost to replace a toilet. Our toilets are old and corroded due to Eagan's terribly hard water plus I have a bad back and wanted a higher stool. So happens Charlie had the perfect toilet in his truck (he said they always carry them along). The toilets are the ones the people at Pipeworks have in their homes. They tested them out personally and I can agree they chose right. So I also had a new toilet put in.

While describing the situation on the phone, this contractor was familiar with the problem as well as the city requirements. Contractor arrived on time. Work was completed promptly and with care. He also noted my water heater was probably nearly the end of its service life, and left information regarding possible replacement options. I would certainly recommend this contractor.

As I indicated above. They took the most economical approach and advise me of other options for the future. In addition, they were knowledgeable about other issues, like water heaters and also advised me of what I will need to do there in the near future. I really appreciated their knowledge, their approach to the problem and their resolutiopn, but mostly that it felt like they went above and beyond sharing information, even more than what related to the problem that I called them about. I would definitely recommend and use them again.

Dave came out check a leaky outside hose spigot - he tried low cost fixes like new washers / pads first, but in the end we needed a new winter-weather spigot. He also took a look at both of our master bath sinks which weren't draining, and prescribed some enzymatic cleaner and suggested we use it twice a year around the time we set the clocks back - he said this would keep them running smoothly and it's safer than acidic drain cleaners. Appreciated his taking the time to help us understand what he was doing and that he tried to give us the low cost solution first.

First, Charlie came out and have a quote the SAME day I called. He thoroughly answered our questions, reviewed the project and wrote out a detailed quote on the spot. I was thrilled since I was in a jam to get this done ASAP (since tenants were involved). Charlie was very professional. He said that the Dave and Tim would call prior to arriving and they did. They showed up on time, were very knowledgeable, worked quickly and efficiently and were willing to add on an additional project AND still keep within the timeline. They did an excellent job, were patient with our questions and completed the job exactly when they said they would. Thank you St. Paul Pipeworks for running such a professional, efficient service!! I will certainly share my experience with others.

They had strong communication. They were good and professional. I liked the way they handled calls. I definitely enjoyed working with them and I would use them again.

Good. They were able to come out the next day after I called them, and sent two guys. They finished the work quickly and the new pipe is working great. The two guys that came out were very thorough and friendly to work with.

The experience was great. The guys were friendly, informative and helpful, and they fixed a couple other plumbing problems at the same time (re-setting a toilet that had been done incorrectly, improved the water flow from a shower fixture). I did not enjoy paying $1100 but felt it was quite reasonable for the amount of effort and time spent. I have recommended them already to my friends and will use them for future work.

They came on time within a day or two of when I called. They checked out the toilets and told me that really only one of them needed to be replaced. They had the toilet on the truck and replaced it within about an hour. Dave and ___? (two guys) were very pleasant, friendly, and personable. The only problem I had was that I felt like they were working pretty hard to sell me a toilet rather than have me go pick one out and have them come back. When they were all done, they also asked to check out my water heater. They said it needed to be replaced and gave me quotes on the cost. The whole thing was a little bit too aggressive of a sales pitch for my taste. I would call them again, but I'd be braced to not get talked into more than I need. My sense was that the price was a little high, but I appreciated the convenience and was willing to pay more for that.

From the time I set up the appointment with Charlie until Dave finished the work was just over 24 hours. Dave did everything and actually suggested a couple of additional (but appropriate) things that he noticed. He was unable to get a reasonably priced part for the kitchen and advised me to contact Kohler to see if they'd replace under warranty. He and one other fellow worked just under two hours and everything was fixed when they left. They were great and I'd highly recommend their work. The B for price simply is about plumbing always costing more than you'd expect. I do think they priced the job fairly.

The company replied to our email right away. They gave us an estimate and they are very fast at contacting us. We have not decided on who to use yet for this job.

Fantastic! St. Paul Pipeworks was quick, professional and able to understand and work on the quirks created by disconnecting a failed indirect waterheater from the bioler and plumbing a new heater into the system. I would recommend them for any home plumbing need.

Asked them to come out and provide a quote for a new kitchen sink. My hot water wasn't working, and a friend had suggested I just needed a new faucet. This plumber went into my basement and suggested I also probably needed new pipes and gave me a quote on that. I went with another plumber who felt the problem could be fixed with just a new faucet, and it was.

They were great. They were courteous and got the job done quickly. They put in the appropriate transition pieces between the new copper and old steel pipes so I know that won't cause problems down the road. They gave me helpful advice about avoiding future clogs. I will definitely call them again when I have plumbing woes.

They always do my plumbing and they are outstanding. They are very prompt and very clean. They were the little plastic booties on their feet. For previous customers, they mail discounts.

Charlie's price was the best price @ 4984, and he knew exactly what the project involved, even more than some other plumbers that I have brought to look at the project. At the end we decided to go with a general contractor for our project rather than us contracting the pieces of the project to different people.

I appreciated that they did their job well. They also did little things that they didn't charge me extra for. When the work was done, they were able to clean their work area very well. I will use this company in the future.

Everything went very well. Noticed a very slight leak where pipe fit into bottom of basin after their repair. They came right out and fixed it after we called. Can't recommend them highly enough.

Showed up on the early side of the 1 to 3 PM window he gave me. Once he looked over the situation he told me what he thought would be best and I told him to go ahead with the work. I haven't got the fridge yet - but the work looks well done. The fridge has an external filter and I asked him to place it below the fridge in a manner that would make changing of the filter easy. He added a valve so that when I do change the filter it won't make a mess. Very nice personable guys. I felt like I got very good value for the work. This is the third plumber I've dealt with in the last two years and the next time there's a plumbing job, I'm calling St. Paul Pipeworks.

They were usually pretty good. They try to call when they are on their way. They are generally pretty good at coming when they said they were. I was pretty satisfied with that.
