carpet installation
+ -1 moreThe stairs look great. The lower ones have the carpet wrapped around the edges like upholstery. The area at the foot of the stairs was a tricky project because the carpet needed to connect to old existing carpet on either side of it. The old carpet wasn't attached well to the floor, so that made it hard to stretch the new carpet in place the way it should have been. The connection came out better than I expected. Nice work and thorough cleanup.
Description of Work: Carpeting was replaced on the stairs to the basement and an area at the bottom of the stairs. The area at the bottom of the stairs was small, but it connected to the carpet of two rooms and doorways of two other rooms without carpet. Metal trim was fitted on those two doorways.
