Description of Work: My experiences may no longer apply as the company has changed owners. I cancelled our contract after the term ran out. No one called or made any effort to find out why or to try to get us to re-up which I probably would have with some conversation. A few of my complaints: The then salesman and the then operations manager lied to my face about how the system worked with the main office and how often an operation check was run when they wanted me to sign the contract. I found out later talking to the dispatcher how it really worked. Also, the tech burned out my outside (working) siren and replaced it with a simple tone (useless) and charged me for it. There was more but this is enough for here. Again, this experience is with the old company, maybe the new one is better, but they still never called.

Description of Work: I have had Sentry Systems security for my home for over 10 years. My home is in a rural area and a secondary residence. A forfend checks on my home and is the contact when there is an alarm that goes off. Sentry Systems has been very accommodating and I have bee very pleased with their service.

+ -1 moreTerrible. Took off work to meet the technician who never arrived. The office could not tell me if they had been dispatched...promised to call back...which they never did . Waste of time.
Description of Work: Set up an appointment a week out to have an existing alarm system serviced and new door transmitter installed..agreed to the rates including $120 trip charge.

+ -1 moreOverall I feel safe knowing they are monitoring my home while I am there and away. I've accidently tripped the alarm on several occasions, and even though I'm pretty sure they know who I am they haven't considered it a "false" alarm until I've given them my password.
