We relied on reviews to find a builder for a new deck. After a couple of bids, we chose Rosebud because they were competitively priced and I just had a good vibe from the salesman. Well, Rosebud lived up to their online rating and then some. Sales, project manager, and owner were professional, straightforward, prompt, and responsive. The amazing crew that built our deck did so with outstanding skill, efficiency, and precision. It turned out so beautiful! We especially love the picture box finishing and staircase. After shopping around and getting quotes from several deck builders in my area, I decided to go with Rosebud Construction for a number of reasons.  Their quote was very competitive and within my budget and the sales representative I was in communication with was professional, prompt, and helpful without being pushy and trying to upsell me on upgrades that I didn't necessarily need or want.  Throughout the process, the communication from sales rep to project manager was great and I didn't have to follow up to get updates. Change to pricing due to structure support not discovered until the teardown was communicated promptly.  The crew started working on Monday and were done by Thursday.  Overall, this has been a great experience and I would definitely recommend them for anyone waiting to get a new deck.

I retained Rosebud to replace a well-worn entryway deck between my house and garage. I also needed to replace a handrail which had been destroyed by salt. From my first encounter with Rosebud, I knew I had made the right decision. They were prompt in examining the situation and submitted a proposal with options for wood or composite. Once approved, the project proceeded on schedule from demolition to replacement. The work was completed in three days. Upon completion, I was paid a visit by the Project Manager and owner of the company to make sure I was pleased. I've never experienced this type of dedication to client satisfaction. The workmanship is outstanding and I couldn't be happier with my new deck. I would highly recommend Rosebud for your project.

We sourced five bids for our deck project. We opted to use Rosebud as we found Joe to be by far the most responsive contractor of the people who stopped out. He visited promptly and provided a bid to us quickly. In addition, all subsequent communication with him came in an honest and upfront manner. He also quickly responded to our request for references of other folks he’d built decks for. Joe was also was the only contractor that gave us a firm, unwavering bid. The other contractors we talked to were generally unable to definitively confirm how much our job would cost, pending uncertainly regarding what sort of substructure would be revealed and required when our old deck was demolished. Joe basically told us what we had and what was needed. He’s a no-nonsense, straight shooter. This was reassuring as other contractors kept telling us, “Best case scenario, it will be Price Plan A, worst case scenario, Price Plan B.” Lastly, Joe’s overall price quote for our deck project was very competitive. The demolition and construction process took about a week. Nate was the lead carpenter. We found Nate agreeable, pleasant and efficient. Our deck was constructed with Trex’s Transcend product line using the Havana Gold color and Spiced Rum color accents. We used the Westbury Riviera III aluminum railing. The bottom line: Rosebud’s final results exceeded our expectations. My thanks to Joe and his crew for a job well done. I highly recommend the company to anyone interested in a new deck.

From estimate to completion we were overall satisfied. Some wood was poor quality but crew picked out & replaced with better quality. In all deck looks fantastic, very satisfied. Thank YOU Joe & crew.

Joe and his team, Jerome and Carlos, built a beautiful new red cedar tennis court deck for me that exceeded my expectations. The attention to detail was exceptional, and the price was fair. They even replaced a board that wasn’t the same shade of cedar. The finishing touches of a border, extra wide stairs across the front, and a bench across the back were done with excellent craftsmanship. They kept the site clean and neat and were very pleasant to have on my property. I now have a deck that is much nicer than my original deck. Thank you, Rosebud!

Joe really helped us out by finishing our deck project that another contractor started. The other contractor went out of business leaving us high and dry. Joe came in, assessed the situation, gave us a fair bid and was more than happy to work with us on completing the deck. We are extremely pleased with the end product. The quality of work is second to none. Joe was always patient in answering all my questions big or small. He responded right away to text messages or phone calls. I really appreciated that and seems to be a rare quality these days in contractors. We are now enjoying our beautiful new Trex Transcends maintenance free deck. Horrible! He clearly didn't want the job. He was at my house for no more then 5 minutes, was rude and never sent the estimate. Considering I received his information from Angie's list, I am very disappointed. He clearly cherry picks what he wants to do and is rude when he doesn't want the job. Very unprofessional.

Winter Deck – Year Round Builder (5 STARS) We just completed our deck in the heart of winter (January 2020). Joe and his crew at Rosebud are awesome! Communication was great from start to finish. Joe was always quick to reply, and kept us informed throughout every stage of the process. He worked with us on pricing to fit within our budget, and we never felt pressured or uncomfortable with anything. The entire experience was excellent! Now to the deck itself. The workmanship is top-notch! Very structurally sound, and the quality of materials and appearance is GREAT. We can’t wait to get out there and start enjoying this right away, and not have to wait until later in the year, when everyone is booked up and prices inflated. Our initial plan was to build in the Spring, so we began contacting several builders who were referred by neighbors and friends to get on the books for the busy spring season. Some of those builders surprising didn’t even respond back from a referral. Others were quoting ridiculous pricing. That’s when we went on our own to search good reviews online, and came across Rosebud Construction. From my first interactions with Joe, I knew Rosebud construction was going to be the team to complete my job. Joe was quick to reply to my inquiry and come visit my home for assessment. I told him what I was looking for in a new deck and he came up with the plans. He didn’t try to add any extras; he took the time to listen to me and come up with the best option. The contractor responded within 24 hours. We discussed the project over the phone. After hearing that we were looking to repair the deck (new posts, footings, railings, and stairs), the contractor became disinterested. I agreed to send him photos of the deck to which he agreed to contact me. The photos were delivered via text promptly. Days later, after not having heard from him, I telephoned him. He did not respond.

Joe and his crew were very neat and tidy, I had a 12 x 12 composite deck built although it took longer than they said it would be the finish product is beautiful. When they left my property you could not tell they were there it was so clean. A great big thank you to Joe and his crew .

Professional and quality construction

I was initially looking for a contractor to replace a few boards and extend my deck an extra four feet. I was referred by a friend of a friend who had work done by Rosebud. I was skeptical at first. Joe took all of my worries away at my consultation. I explained what I wanted eventually in the future due to my budget. Joe stated he could not only give me what I desired within my budget, but could also extend my deck to 20 feet as I dreamed! The project took no time! Joe was able to work around my schedule (I took a vacation), remained professional, and kept his promise with my deadline by the start of summer. I have gotten so many compliments on my deck and if snow wasn't covering it I would show you all this beauty as well. This winter/spring I will be hiring Rosebud again for my She Shed and Man Cave!
