Description of Work: Roof-to-Deck did a great job. They were quick and professional and our deck looks great.

Description of Work: We contracted with Roof to Deck after they were recommended to us by relatives to clean and treat the cedar shingles on our house and garage. They did the job however, there were several problems to date such as: 1. Moss still on bottom edge of bottom 4 - 6 courses of cedar shingles 2. Debris from shingle cleaning on house siding in several spots. 3. Debris from shingle cleaning filled and clogged gutters. 4. Cleaning agent ran down house siding and discolored stain. 5. Shingle stain over sprayed on copper flashing.

Description of Work: Using a steamer, they got rid of the ice dams on my roof.

Description of Work: Just a comment. Though we did not use this contractor, we noticed that Roof to Deck Restoration received quite a bit of free advertising through various news media. We found that when we contacted them for an estimate, their prices were pretty exorbitant. It could be that the prices reflected the real cost of doing business.

Description of Work: Called to get estimate on snow removal from roof. The vendor took order and indicated one man crew would be out Thurs or Friday (Dec 30 & 31). In order to get a more definitive time called vendor again to get approx time. Staff indicated crew would be out Friday in the pm. Vendor had not shown up approx 4:00PM. Called vendor, indicated someone would be out Saturday. No one showed up on Saturday or called to cancel. On Sunday, Jan 2 a worker called indicated he would be over shortly to clear roof. Worker spent an hour trying to clear the front roof. Ice had accumulated on the roof over the week-end, so it took longer to clear snow. The vendor booked too many orders and was unable to deliver services on dates promised and failed to adjust job costs for their mistakes. I will not use this vendor in the future.

Description of Work: Completely stripped a dark stained, very large deck, posts, and railings. Stained with a much lighter color. A very difficult job. They were outstanding in their performance.

Description of Work: We had a new cedar fence put in in Spring of 2009. We had this company come to stain it at the end of the summer. First someone came to clean it. That went fine. Then someone came to stain it and he raced around the backyard and did the job in a just a few hours. He didn't put things back where he found them. He left the yard a mess. He didn't sand the top of the fence, so there were splinters sticking out of it the entire length of the fence, and it just looked like the stain coverage was pretty poor. I called the company to complain, and they agreed that it wasn't done correctly, and did promptly send someone out to sand down and restain the top half of the fence. That part looked better but then the bottom half of the fence looked even worse. There were areas where a vine had grown up the fence and they didn't even remove it to completely stain the fence. I called again to complain, and they never came back, and I never heard from them again. I only paid 1/2 the money down and never paid the other half. I thought they were quite unprofessional, and will not use them again. I just hope that our new fence had enough protective stain on it so that it isn't damaged through the winter, and we can have someone else redo it in the spring.

Description of Work: I requested a quote from this company for a simple washing of the exterior of my house, including cleaning the gutters, following extensive road construction in our neighborhood. I received an absurd quote. They wanted $1,924 total. The gutters had hardly anything in them (did they even inspect?). I hand washed our two-story house, the composite deck, and the gutters. I did the jobs myself, and it took me about 5 hours. The house looked great when I was done.

Description of Work: Someone was here within a couple of days to check the roof. We then received a quote in the mail. They were here in the 2-3 weeks for cleaning that was promised and then returned within a week to replace and nail down any shingles and to seal the roof. We're very happy with the job done and the people who did the work. I would recommend the company to friends.

Description of Work: THEY FORGOT TO COME TO THE FIRST APPOINTMENT, CALLED THE NEXT DAY TO SET UP ANOTHER APPOINTMENT. THEN, NEVER EVEN CALLED TO EXCUSE THEMSELVES WHEN THEY FORGOT THE SECOND APPOINTMENT.

Description of Work: DECK WAS POWER WASHED DUE TO POOR FINISHING OF COMPANY WHO INSTALLED DECK TWO YEARS AGO. THEY THEN RECOMMENDED STAIN COLOR TO COORDINATE WITH HOME COLOR AND GIVE LONGEST DURABILITY. PAID 1/2 DOWN WITH BALANCE TO BE PAID UPON SATISFACTORY COMPLETION.
