It went very well, very professional and I would recommend them.

The installed windows are great. The workers did a nice job. They were efficient and cleaned up afterwards. Anderson is expensive but worth it!

I didn't have the work done because it was too expensive. I would not use this provider in the future.

Justin arrived on time and was great to work with. He really took a lot of time with me to "build-a-door" on-line and then give me a color print out. Ultimately I decided to go with a smaller company and hire a private installer. Although more work on my end I feel it was worth a 50% savings. I have no reservations about using Renewal in the future, especially for their MAC sound mitigating windows.

They were excellent and I've used them before. I think the person that came out was Chad and he was excellent. They were excellent in every single thing that they did. I've had six companies go out of business on me. We had windows put probably five or ten years after we moved in here. Then we were having trouble with another provider and there wasn’t life time warranty on them. When we had trouble with the windows we could call them but they went out of business. When I call, he would come out within a day or two. He would call be back and tell me what time they would be out. I really liked how he explained it and what they were going to do. They come out if we have any trouble with the windows. They have come out once and replaced my windows because something was going on with it. He's a really nice guy.

I have to tell you I was very happy with my windows until this year. The windows were installed in April of 2001. And just this year with the windows being only 13 years old. Because I only open my windows up in the spring of the year to let fresh air after a long winter. But to my surprise when I opened my bedroom window this spring I heard a loud bang. It was the part of the window that helps hold the window open, it had broken. So I called renewal by Andersen to get some information about getting it fixed. I know my warranty was expired but I was told that they could come out and look at the window for $135.00 + what ever parts and labor. I spent 7,000.00 for 11 windows and was told that because of a 10 year warranty that was no longer in effect I would have to pay such a high cost out of pocket. So now I am afraid to open any window because it just may fail.

They came to visit, but cannot perform the service.

Their sales representative Kim Tobin was excellent in every respect. The company without hesitation, immediately refunded our downpayment. I feel they have an excellent product and would be an excellent company to install the windows.

It was a mediocre experience. We used them again because we wanted to match the windows in the room but that was where the frustration came from because the windows did not match. I didn't like that the window style had changed since we got the last one and they did not match it to the window we already have. The people who did the installation were good.

He did a great job. It was expensive, but the product is really good. They did a great job of cleanup and there was no mess in the house at all. They did six windows in a day. I have had no issues with any windows since the service was provided. It is a good product. The cost is high, but we think it is worth it. The installers did a great job.

They were good. The quality of the windows is really good. Their sales representative was very responsive. One of the installers was kind of creepy and was like trying to sneak into our mail but the quality of their work, overall, was good. They're pricey.

The installation team of two guys arrived on time (about 8:00 am) and went right to work. They replaced three windows in the basement first, then one in our guest bedroom, and finally the one in our living room with the half-moon window above it. The guys worked quickly with no small talk or dallying. They laid tarps to protect the carpeted areas. They took such a quick lunch break that we did not even know they were eating. Although they expected to finish by 3:00 or 3:30 pm, they ran into a problem with the way that the front window was assembled at the factory. The half-moon and lower portion were attached to form one unit, but because there is a beam separating the two parts, they had to take take the two pieces apart and install them separately. They may have underestimated the difficulty of the front window because they ended up working until about 6:45 pm. They cleaned up after themselves, but there was considerable sawdust left in the garage where they did their sawing and a few spots where they could have cleaned up a little better. I can totally understand this, though, because of the longer-than-expected day they put in. The windows looked beautiful when they finished. When I came home, I noticed that the grid pattern in the half-moon window does not match the grid pattern of the other windows in our town-home community. Although the Renewal by Andersen salesman told us that they will replace the glass in the half-moon window if our association board requires it, we like the way the grid looks in the new window better than the original window, and we are hoping that replacement will not be necessary. With completion of this job, Renewal by Andersen has now replaced all six of our sliding window units and our sliding deck doors, and we are very happy with the quality of the windows. This time, we decided to have a friend in the painting business finish the woodwork. For anyone considering Renewal by Andersen, I recommend that approach since we saved a few hundred dollars on the staining by hiring a separate party, and the finished job looks nicer than the stain job on the last window that we replaced.

My husband is a retired architect and is very discerning regarding details. As a test, we had four Andersen Renewal windows installed in our house last Fall. It was such a good experience, and the quality of the windows is so high, that we decided to replace all of our other old windows with Renewal by Andersen. The most recent work was installed on May 20, 2014. The windows have transformed our house, both from the exterior as well as the interior? we love the windows! The window(s) in every room are different and custom for that particular room and application: awning, casement, fixed, white interior, oak interior, off-white interior, clear vision panel, obscure/translucent panel for a bathroom, etc.. We are so impressed that every window is custom for that particular window's mission. Everything about the window product is high quality. Everyone we have encountered at Renweal by Andersen has been very professional: the salesman, the measurer, the third party asbestos investigation person, the scheduler, and especially the two installers!! The job was scheduled for May 20 about two weeks prior to that date. Despite rain and other things that might cause other contractors to renege on a schedule, the Andersen team came on the day they said they would and did the entire job in one very long day for the installers. They are top notch!!

We had a really good experience with them. I also used them about five years ago to replace my upstairs windows and a patio door.

Their products are very good. They had to come out and visit me a lot to get adjustments made to my door. I was disappointed in that. It should have been installed properly in the first place. It was a lot of work on my shoulders, a lot of phone calls. They were pleasant but I had to be sure they came out and checked on things. They had to come several times and I'm not even sure it that everything is working properly. I was not checked extra for all the visits. I spent thousands. Friends and neighbors had said they were a very high quality company so I used them.

The fellows finished the job and my husband was going to put the trim back on because he is a carpenter. When he went to do that, he realized that the installers did not put any insulation around the doors. There was a one inch opening all the way around. He reported it to the salesman because that was not an appropriate finish to the investment. My husband ended up doing it. Somebody did come out to check the locks on the doors and they adjusted those. One of the doors had some of their caulking material on it and we tried to wipe it off and it took off the finish of the plaid coloring. He replaced that half of the patio door. We were surprised that we had that problem. The installers were from Russia and they were nice. They took their time. I think they just hired a subcontractor to do the work. They meant well. We would still purchase their them. We were stunned that it was incomplete. It was a special made door so we thought the price was fair. The company did respond.

This project was started 4/14/14 and was finally completed 7/25/14. We had 10 windows installed by Andersen. One of the windows was noted to be defective by the installers during the installation process, and another one of the windows was installed too tightly and needed to be totally replaced. The window that was noted as needing repair on installation needed a new sash. The sash was ordered and while we were awaiting delivery, we noted that another window was so tight that the window was gouging the sides of the trim when it was opened/closed. We had the Andersen service tech look at it when the sash was replaced on repair #1 and he determined it was shimmed too tightly. A replacement window was ordered. Here is our timeline: April 14-15 - original installation May 12 (4 weeks wait time) - replacement sash installed, 2nd replacement window ordered June 23 (6 weeks wait time) - appointment to install replacement window. Appointment was cancelled by Andersen 2 hrs before I was expecting technician to show up July 1 (7 weeks after replacement window was ordered, 1 week after original installation date for this window) - replacement window installed July 25 (24 days after window was installed) - staining was completed So this project that should have taken 2 days ended up taking 14 1/2 weeks.

Very well, cancelled the contract at my request with out any problems.

It turned out very well. They built them to our size, stained them and installed them. They cleaned up afterwards. It was perfect.

It went very good. They did a good job. If there are any problems, we give them a call and they come out to fix them right away. They’re really thorough. They show up on time, cleaned up after themselves, did not leave a mess and did a good job.

They are really organized, and they have their systems down. They had someone come in first to encase the windows with plastic, to collect any potential lead, and that was a subcontractor. He was a nice guy, but he was a little careless about things, like he just sat down on our piano. Everyone else was really thorough and in and out.
