Description of Work: Renewal by Andersen replaced most of the windows in our house last year. We are thrilled with the quality of our new windows. The new windows really kept out the cold of our past Minnesota winter and helped make the inside of the house very comfortable and cozy. Dealing with sales personnel and employees of Renewal by Anderson was a pleasure, they are very responsive and professional.

Description of Work: Replaced a french patio door. Installer's measured and I paid half in September, 2013. I needed to call the salesman twice because they never scheduled install. Eventually, they called in November to install after a 12 + inch snow fall that froze. Finally, installed on May 1st. The french door doesn't stay open. It just falls back and closes. When I called the installer, the next day, he said it is an easy fix and told me to put a pillow in front of the door to keep it open. I called customer service who doesn't return calls and when they do return the calls they tell you that they've tried calling. However, no missed calls at home or on cell. They sent a repairman out on Monday, May 2nd (the date the door was stained) because they said it was an easy repair. However, this repairman couldn't repair and they went ahead and stained the door. However, this repairman said he set the door to open 1/2 way and showed me but it never stayed open and closes all the way. I now have another appointment scheduled and another day off work with supposedly their "best guy". Because they need to remove the door, I will have a new door that will need to have the stain also repaired. I have all Anderson windows so went with Anderson. The customer service is extremely poor and very assembly plant like. One positive is the stain job was matched and done very well.

Description of Work: Replaced all windows in the house in two projects. The installers on the first half were horrible. Damaged one window, poor job throughout. Anderson was quick to reorder the damaged window and sent two different installers who spent the entire day redoing what the first crew did. Net result was fine | |Second half went well.

Description of Work: Replaced old single pane porch windows (10) and door. They were extremely professional and knew what they were doing from the start. After the sales contact, they made a recon trip to determine type size and any unusual structural problems. In other words they were double checking. I was totally impressed. I knew then that Andersen was going to do the install. One of the few best companies I've ever hired. I'm 78. They really go out of there way.
