Description of Work: Replaced an old window with a beautiful new one. Great views through the cool screens. Very professional installation. Only thing is that I wish I'd have waited to get the backsplash tile done until afterward as I need to do some grout work again now.

Description of Work: Installed 32 windows in January in Minnesota. My 1925 Duplex had some lead paint on the old windows. They carefully removed the paint following the letter of the law and tested afterward. Each window was installed perfectly and efficiently. It was amazing to watch: first the lead paint guy, then the removal guy, then the load the old window in the truck guy, then the insulation guy, then the install guy, then the calking guy, then the weather proof outside calking. Each guy checked the work of the guy before him. Also, the wood staining guy came later and when he was through the stain matched my oak woodwork perfectly and he gave me the leftover stain for later use. I should also mention that the house stayed reasonably warm during the whole process. They did all 32 windows in one long day. I was there the whole time. I met with salesmen from 3 different companies. One was a very good pitch and I was leaning his way especially so because his bid was a little below the other two. One also was convincing and priced lower than Andersen but I chose Andersen whose salesman wasn't as smooth as the other two because it is a MN company who employs full time year round workers who take pride in their work because they are Andersen employees and not some temporary group hired by the job. The windows are manufactured by Andersen and they have been doing this for many years. They have a good reputation and deserve it. I definitely got what I paid for. Excellent company & excellent work.

Description of Work: Renewal by Anderson did a great job. Salesperson explained product very well and explained their process. Once we agreed on the project they took meticulous measurements and gave us a firm estimate on the cost. They were great at communicating, & the portion of the work we were able to do was completed in a day and the installation went perfectly. No surprises!

Description of Work: They replaced six windows in the frigid cold. They were skilled and efficient, and very considerate of my home and belongings. They were polite and friendly, and I would have them work in my home again.

Description of Work: We finished our window and patio door replacement project with Anderson (started with 5 a few years ago, did the rest this spring). They did full replacements (down to the studs - not pocket replacements) for all of our windows and 3 patio doors. The process went very well and we've been very pleased with the windows!
