While Harry doesn't support Culligan systems, he was incredibly helpful in educating me on how it works and how I could troubleshoot on my own. Harry was great. He first came out to try to fix my water softener. He was prompt, professional, efficient, and thorough. He explained completely what he thought the problem was, replaced some parts, then explained what to look for. Because my basement floor drain wasn’t working, he couldn’t test his repairs, referred me to a very good company to fix the drain, and then talked me through what was going on while on the phone. It turns out that my softener couldn’t be repaired (it was at least 18 years old), so I asked him to replace it, which he did, and credited the money I spent on the initial repair work. He certainly didn’t try to either declare the old unit dead without really trying to fix it, nor did he try to upsell me. Again, he worked quickly, efficiently, and professionally, cleaning up after his work. Couldn’t have picked a nicer, more professional guy to do the job.

My water softener hasn't worked in a while, which I finally figured out. So I called around, and found Harry. He was great. First, he had talked to me on the phone a few weeks ago and offered some advice for how to check on what part of the softener wasn't working, suggesting it might just be a "salt bridge" that I could fix myself. I tried what he'd recommended, but it still wasn't working. He arrived this morning right on time, was very friendly and courteous. He told me exactly what he was doing, and replaced several parts. The drain that the softener drains into, so he couldn't test it out. He recommended getting someone to clean the drain,then showed me how to get the softener to regenerate, etc. He said to call him after it's been cleaned and the softener regenerated because he wanted to know how things were working. He'd come out and work on it again if it wasn't. Couldn't ask for better service at a reasonable price. I'd recommend Harry any time.

I contacted Harry with Puretap to install a water softener. Harry promptly responded to my inquiry and provided a fair quote after a thorough review of my plumbing. I found him very knowledgable and spoke in layman terms so I understood exactly what he planned doing. I requested my cold water in the kitchen bypass the softener and he found a way to plumb the unit to make this possible. Genius! Harry installed the water softener at a time convenient for me and was extremely courteous and respectful of me and my home. This is especially important being a single working woman. He removed his shoes without my asking and was efficient and tidy. He thoroughly explained what I needed to do to maintain the unit and how it worked. I highly recommend Harry with Puretap. I am extremely satisfied with my new soft water. My hair and skin are happy again — what a difference! It feels great supporting small, local business. Harry from Pure Tap did an amazing job and I would highly refer him for any Water Softener Services! For a great low price, he took our old (no longer working) water softener and salt bin to recycle and installed a new Softener in about 2 hours. We had some extra piping that was unnecessary and he even was able to clean up the piping and rid of some of the extra pipes we did not need. He was extremely informative on the installation process and walked through with me how to operate the new softener. I highly suggest Harry for any softener installation!

I can happily recommend Harry at PureTap. He answered my call promptly, asked how many of us live here and knew the characteristics of water here in Minnetonka. He told me the cost immediately, arrived as scheduled and installed an impressive looking water softener, taking the old one away. Harry has a friendly, no nonsense way that made me feel comfortable. He told me what he could offer and how much it would cost. He prepared for the installation by having me take pictures of the available space. He said he believes in this water softener and will warrantee parts and labor on it for 5 years. I'm no expert, but I did investigate water softeners before calling PureTap. It's still brand new of course, but I feel we made a good decision.

I can't say enough great things about Harry and the work that he performed for me. I was referred to Harry and he went far above and well beyond expectations. The water softener we had was not functional and had released resin that was clogging toilets and sinks. Harry came over the weekend to help determine what the issue was. After flushing out the resin and dodging a major whole-house plumbing issue, Harry returned a few days later to replace our water softener. Harry was punctual, professional and did a great job explaining things along the way. I would not hesitate to recommend Harry to anyone or hire him again.

Pure tap came out and installed a reverse osmosis system in our house for drinking water. They re-plumbed the hard water and installed the system. They were punctual, professional, and answered all of our questions.

All went very well. Everything was explained clearly. No surprises.

It went extremely well. I called the company on Monday - Harry answered. I explained to him the problem that my softener doesn't soften and the tank is full with water all the time. He worked with me over the phone to find a time that fits his schedule as well as mine for the next day, Tuesday. He arrived right on time. After checking the softener, he explained the problem, the solution, and gave a quote

Extremely happy with everything about the service. Harry did the installation of system plus adding a small refrigeration system to provide cold water - there was a heating system in area of tank so the refrigeration solved the problem of warmish water. It was a very tight area in which he had to work and he did an excellent job - also very neat and easy to work with. He comes back each year to replace filter and do a check up. More than satisfactory - a pleasure to work with.

Very disappointing. I called Pure Tap and left a message when I received their voice mail. I received a voice message back the same day from Harry saying to call him back anytime. I called back within an hour of him leaving that message and received his voice mail again. I left a second message but did not receive a return call. I called a twice more and received voice mail but did not leave a message. Finally, I called back the fifth and final time and said if I didn't hear from them in a few days I would move on. I did not hear back from them. My only issue in all of this is that I find it poor business practice when you can't show common courtesy. Just my opinion.
