Brian and Environmental Design is a wonderful company. We reached out to them for a point of view on how we should approach our landscaping project and they provided us with several recommendations. They were easy to work with and extremely professional. Lastly the product was world class ... We love our new yard and how it looks. Super well done!

Brian was wonderful to work with. He communicated with me about my wishes and also added his expertise where and when I needed it. He answered his phone when you called and gave you as much time as you needed. Before the project began he met with twice to go over all the details. Both days that they worked at my home he and I walked around the yard two or three times and talked about the plan for each area with always taking my ideas and any questions I had. This was great as I knew exactly how the process would go and what would be planted. They were at my home when they said they would be and worked hard each day. All the prep work was done carefully and everything was cleaned up beautifully. I would recommend them to everyone.

Didn't use them for landscaping

Brian was fantastic and returned my initial call immediately and scheduled a time to come do a bid.Even though we are near the end of the season in MN for landscapers, Brian said he is always open to the business and appreciates the call. We obtained 3 bids, and he was in the middle as far as price. Brian's communication and customer service and follow up was exceptional. He called ahead of time, and asked if they could come a day early. He and his crew showed up on time, always asked for feedback throughout the job to make sure we were happy. Rather than try and sell me a bunch of plantings, he had no issue with splitting up and utilizing some of my existing plants . I will also say, they moved rock and dirt up and down hills in wheelbarrows vs. Bobcat so as not to ruin our lawn. They cleaned up each evening and when they were done, washed off the sidewalks, watered the plants, and you would never know there had been dirt and rock moving around. They left our place cleaner than they found it.

Outstanding in all aspects of the project.

My experience was no different that everyone else who works with Brian and the crew from Environment Designs-fantastic. Extremely responsive, punctual, great listener, solid designs, and most importantly, great follow up. Though I'm by no means in his backyard, he was always available to come over before and after the install. Will definitely call again for future landscaping projects. Brian provides old school service, not seen often in the home improvement business. Totally dependable and trustworthy, making sure the customer is happy throughout the sales and install cycle.

It went great. Environmental Design was prompt, friendly, courteous and professional. He listened well and patiently in order to understand what I was wanting/needing to have done. He provided me with some landscape ideas/recommendations of what could be done; made suggestions of trees and bushes that would need to be taken out in a few years as they lived beyond maturity. I was not able to hire Environmental Design to do the landscaping work at this time as other priorites have come up. I definitely will callEnvironmental Design when I am ready for the landscaping work. He also provided names of a couple of resources to have things done that he was not able to accomplish as a landscaper. I really appreciated his expertise and suggestions.

The service went well. We did not use them for the actual project because they were pretty pricey. We ended up doing the project ourselves with some of their ideas. The owner came out for the design and got the design back to us in a timely manner. I had no problem scheduling the deal and they were easy to work with.

We had them put together a landscaping plan for us, along with an an itemized estimate, in case we decide to do some of the work ourselves. Scheduling was very prompt, and we received the plan back with in a 1-2 days. They went above and beyond for us and even contact the city to get a document they needed to complete the work.

He created a backyard renovation plan. We’re still working on pricing. I asked him to redo landscape edging, filling sinkholes, planting perennials, adding rocks, etc. It took him about a week to get the plan back to me.

I was so pleased. Everything went smoothly. I was called the day before they were to come out. They were right on time. The guys were all so professional and nice. Sorry guys, I wish I had gotten you some muffins. They went right to work. They did a great job!!! Everything was carefully done and the materials and trees and plants to replace all of the old landscaping were beautiful. They placed some mulch around all of the plants to protect everything from the heat of the stones. Brian gave me a packet of instructions for care of all of the new plantings. Price was very reasonable. I would use Environmental Design for all of my landscape needs. I cannot say enough good things about them and my new landscaping is awesome. Thanks guys!!!!

We very much enjoyed working with Brian and his team. Brian is very hands on and I felt he was 100% focused on our project. They did a beautiful job in plant selection and suggesting edging types to fit our existing landscaping and home style. We had them pull out a number of old shrubs in addition to the installation. The whole team was very professional, prompt and efficient. They kept things tidy and clean as well. We would definitely use Brian and his team again on any landscape project.

Brian responded promptly to my inquiry and set up an appointment for consultation. He looked around our front yard and back yard, gave suggestions and more importantly - listened to our ideas. He is very patient and knowledgeable. He works with you. We, as first time home buyers did not have not experience with gardening and Brian gave us several ideas and estimates. We wanted to do many things by ourselves and Brian worked with us,explained to us how to do and got us started. After we did the "prep work" Brian came along with his employee Charlie,pruned a tree and planted the shrubs. Very efficient. Brian also gave us an extra rose plant as a house warming gift ! After the roses bloomed, we realized the color was not what we had agreed upon and the ENVIRONMENTAL DESIGN INC. are nice enough to get us the rose plants in the color we want. Yes, we will be consulting with them in the future.

He was prompt and professional. He was very nice and listened to our requests. We actually did the labor ourselves.

It was a pleasure to work with Brian and his team. We had an initial design consultation and met a couple times to make sure the design was just right. A few weeks later they started the work and finished in two days. They came equipped with everything they needed - including heavy machinery. I was very impressed that they put down wood boards over our driveway so the bobcat did not make any marks. The crew was extremely professional and careful with the plants. They fertilized, watered and cared for them as if they were their own. Brian was around the job site both days and would periodically ask us if everything looked good. He called us to check in after the work was complete and then stopped by a few days later to review the final watering and pruning instructions. We could not be happier with the work Environmental Design did for us. They went the extra mile to bring in fresh rock that was not included in our final quote because they knew it was the right - and only - way to do it. We are so excited to begin designing our backyard plan with Brian and his team. Our neighbors cannot stop complementing us on our new curb appeal!

Our experience was awesome. The owner, Brian, was very thorough and nice. The work was quick and reasonably priced. Brian has continued to follow up on our lawn. We have been very impressed with their service.

Came out of the process with a nice design for the yard, we will pick and choose aspects and likely try to do most of it ourself over time. Brian totally understood that approach and did not apply any selling pressure.

It turned out fine. I got an estimate from them. They walked through and discussed design ideas for our yard. I used them more for gaining ideas on what to do. The guy was Brian,and he was really prompt in following up, and contacting me, and the design and estimate came in very timely.

Originally we purchased a $111 landscape design for our back yard that had been destroyed during a recent renovation. Brian came out and met with us twice within a week of getting the deal. We loved his plans, and went ahead with his designs. They were here the next week and helped coordinate, sprinkler and concrete efforts. They made sure the grade of our yard took care of some water issues we have had in the past and made our yard into something we can be proud of, with gardens, plantings, grassy areas and a walkway. It looks absolutely beautiful. It was a big job, it took 4 solid weeks and there were multiple people on sight working hard at all times. I would use and recommend Environmental Design again.

He's a landscape architect. I worked with him in designing the yard. We implemented the design. They did the site work. He came out and planted trees, shrubs and perineal flowers. He gave me information on how to maintain and how to keep it going. I would highly recommend him.
