Brian and crew did incredible work on our back and side yards. (we opted to do the front gardens ourselves) They came in and did a major clean up, repaired rock walls, added and repaired paver steps and carted out 4 large truckloads of weeds! We were surprised & pleased with the dramatic result. We can't wait to work with them again to landscape in the future.

I wrote a review back in June when the work was completed. Fast forward a few months and I just wanted to add that my experience with Brian and his team has been awesome. We had a couple of plant issues and he and his team were VERY responsive. Not only did our job go smoothly from beginning to end, but Brian has been extremely helpful in answering all of my questions regarding the plants that were installed. The choice of plants, their color and size, have made our curbside appeal absolutely beautiful. I would highly recommend, great guy and great team of people.

Project went extremely well. Team was on time, delivered what was promised and at the price and time agreed upon. Would highly recommend.

Brian was very helpful and accommodating, he was present several times daily, checked with me to make sure project was going according to plan. Large project was completed in 3 days. Landscaping turned out to be better than I had hoped for, very esthetically appealing. Workers were very polite and did a good cleanup after the job was completed.

Brian was fabulous. He met with us in our home to craft out a plan for our yard. We worked together to find the best combination of perennials, shrubs and trees. It did take a few months for us to get started because of final approvals and weather, but Brian was patient and ready to go as soon as we were! I would highly recommend Environmental Design and we thoroughly enjoyed the excitement and expertise Brian provided. We love our landscaping! Thank you!

The whole experience was great from beginning to end. Brian explained everything that needed to be done. Also, he is so knowledgeable of plants and bushes and trees that he is able to make great recommendations. However, if I did not like a particular plant, he had hundreds of others to suggest. I had no idea that there are over 100 varieties of hostas alone. He also provides a very detailed Landscape Proposal and explanation of costs. The work was done timely and he has all the necessary equipment to do a thorough and beautiful job. His employees know what they are doing and are hard workers. The end result was a very large shade garden that will give me many years of enjoyment. After completion, Brian sat down with me and gave me a "Care After Planting" plan to insure that I knew how to properly take care of the plants and what was needed now, this fall and next spring to insure maximum growth and healthy plants. He shares his knowledge and really educates the customer. I appreciated that as much as the new garden.

The project went very well. Brian was very responsive and was great with follow-through. He and team did a quality job. Really spruces up the yard!

Great! Brian was easy to work with and very knowledgeable. Very clear with communication about what would and wouldn't be included so we had no surprises. He was on time or early to every appointment we had and willing to work around our work schedules to meet. I appreciated the way he tweaked plans along the way (bed outlines, plant choices, etc) to be sure we were going to be really happy with the end result. He clearly loves what he does -- his enthusiasm for plants is contagious. The crew was efficient and professional. They did a fabulous job on the patio -- graded for appropriate drainage, with appropriate foundation underneath. Where the existing stone edging on flower beds was overgrown with grass that couldn't be pulled out very well, they went the extra mile, pulled everything out and put back the existing stones so it would look as good as the new. The work took just under a week to complete. Would definitely hire again, though we won't need to because this work should last another 20 years at least.

The finished result is beautiful. Brian has an eye for design and his crew worked very **** ** the installation and clean-up. Brian was very responsive to our questions along the way.

Contractor was very knowledgeable and had a lot of good ideas. We paid for the consultation visit but not additional work. We decided not to pursue further business with them because he took many days to respond to emails. We decided that it would be a bad decision to pursue more work with them if they were not that interested in our business. The price was also high. The consultation was either $150 or $250--I can't find the records--and the additional work would have been $3800.

From The first meeting that was for ideas and an estimate to the final installation and instructions for maintenance this project was seamless. The crew was very neat and conscious of our siding and windows while pulling out old shrubs and they did an excellent job of cleanup. I love the variety of plants that were put in with the various heights and blooming throughout the season

The owner was extremely easy to work with. He did great incorporating our wants and needs into the design. I give him A's all across. The price was also very competitive.

They were extremely careful not to damage the lawn and when they left there was very little damage in spite of all the recent heavy rainfall. Crew was very friendly and professional. Didn't seem to mind if additions or corrections were made even when project was underway. Will definitely use them in future as we are totally satisfied with the outcome of the project.

Brian and his team did an excellent job on our yard. We could not be more pleased and will use them again if we ever need additional landscaping done. I highly recommend Environmental Design.

Wonderful! Everything that was picked out was beautiful, the work was done efficiently and well. They even added a couple of things we didn't expect and love! Overall completely happy and will call them when we get to the backyard!

Brian came out and provided options and ballpark costs for replacing my landscaping around my pool. Brian asked questions about my goals and budget for the project. In a couple of days, Brian created a plan for the project and came back to review it with me and answer my questions. This was all done at no cost to me. After selecting ED over other proposals, Brian personally supervised the 2 person work crew. The crew needed to cut through the roots from an old tree for every planing hole that they dug. Brian and the crew paid attention to the details at every step. Although not planned, they brought in 2 tons of rock (at no additional cost) to make the finished area look better. They replaced the edging around my fence that had been previously broken and raked up the grass where they had driven the bobcat over my yard. They did all of the extras (that I wasn't expecting) to ensure that the project was up to their standards. Brian stayed in communication with me throughout the project and continually ensured that I was satisfied. When finished, Brian spent another 1/2 hour with us going over written instructions for maintaining our new landscaping. If you are looking for someone who really cares about the quality of their work and customer satisfaction, look no further than Brian Rayman and Environmental Design.

Brian was great to work with. He came out to review what we wanted and helped make recommendations for the trees and placement in our front yard. They came out and planted all 4 trees, provided the new dirt and mulch around them and walked us through care and maintenance. They were prompt, professional, thorough and friendly. Would absolutely recommend Environmental Design!

I did not use this designer. But, I found the company to be very good. Just did not do the project.

It went fine. He was very nice but it just ended up that I couldn't afford to do it. He was a very nice man; everything went very good.

Brian was very pleasant and professional, and only included a bid for work at my request. If we go forward, we will do the work ourselves--that's the only reason for saying I wouldn't use him again.

I can't stress enough how impressed I am with the service from Brian throughout the entire process of design, installation, and follow-up. Brian's enthusiasm and knowledge are apparent when you first meet and talk with him and pride in his work definitely shows in the end result. I first met with Brian to discuss a landscaping design for the front of my home. He was very patient with my lack of know-how related to all things green or growing and worked with me to come up with a design that I really liked. I simply described what I would like to see in terms of color and low maintenance and he immediately had ideas of what would work. Within a couple of days, Brian sent me computer-rendered images showing details of the layout of the work to be done and the names of all the plants, trees, bushes, rock, etc... that would be used. He was always available and responsive to questions and changes that I had wanted to add into the mix at the last minute. When it came time to do the work, Brian and his team were on time and finished the job on schedule. Brian was there both days with his crew and involved in the work. There was a bobcat needed to do some things and I had also (at the last minute) asked them to remove a 20' tree. It had rained after the first day of work so I expected there to be at least some mess left behind; however, once they were done I couldn't tell they had even been there with the exception of the new landscaping. Everything looked great and I couldn't be happier with how it all turned out. Brian met with me again afterwards to go over the work that was done and how to maintain it. I'll definitely be hiring Brian and his team to any further landscaping work at my home.

Brian was so helpful and good to work with. He understood what I wanted, drew an excellent plan for me to submit to our townhouse association, and as soon as it was approved, began work.
