Premier Fence

I met a sales person who was very nice. We went over the selections and he came up with a price of the project. The price was in line with others (it was not cheap) but I liked their professionalism so I went with this company.

This is the third fence that Premier has installed for us since 1996. They may not have the lowest bid, but the service and quality can not be beat. One time we went with a lower bid. Within 24 months we had Premier come out and reinstall the fence. We have learned our lesson. On the most recent project the owner and his crew went above and beyond the call of duty to provide high quality service and product. Our insurance company was a nightmare to work with. The owner himself made several trips to our home to meet with the 3 different adjusters; without a complaint.

It was perfect. Patrick took the time to show me what I was looking for in the quality of wood and how to build it. I went to several typical shops and without Premier fence I have my doubts as to if the project would have got done. I can not say enough good things about them. Premier service, Premier Wood, Premier Price...It was a Premier experience. I even had fun building my fence.

It went great, it really did. The install crew did a fantastic job, the fence was straight, and sturdy. They were on time, fought the elements and got it done, and left the site clean.

It went very well it was quick and it looks nice the only thing that is a slight problem is that I have a truck load of dirt and no way to move it.

Everything went very well. I called and got an estimate done. Once I committed to having it done, I was sent a checklist of things to do to the yard for prep. Premier contacted the gas and electric company to come and mark the lines with paint and flags. I got a phone call a week before they started to set a date. Since the job was fairly large, they broke the work up into two days. I met with the crew the morning of the first day, to go through a walk-through and that was it. They did a fantastic job with the fence and cleaned up after themselves.

GREAT - I TOOK PICTURES AND HAVE RECEIVED NUMEROUS COMPLIMENTS. ANOTHER NEIGHBOR HAS SEEN MY FENCE AND HAS ALSO NOW CONTACTED PREMIER.

The company was good but their sales person was very misleading and a couple of the sub contractors were not as professional as they could have been.

We had a positive experience. We chose Premier Fence because they had the largest selection of fence options. Their price was competitive to others we looked at. Chris Baden was our sales associate. Good guy to work with.

Because we had been so pleased with the work completed by Premier Fence 3-4 years ago, we called them to get an estimate for installing similar sections/fence style for sections removed (the beginning of June, right after labor day). There were several delays in receiving returned calls, ultimately I received a written estimate on 7/21, but had not once met with someone on site to discuss what I wanted, all was via phone. There was then a delay in the work being done, and when the work was done it was not done as requested. Posts were not put where requested, the gate was cut off to fit the space remaining verses measuring the gate and building the fence sections to accommodate the width of the gate; fence sections were touching the ground, and the gate was hung so low it could not be fully opened without getting stuck on the walkway.

The initial fix didn't work and looks bad. Almost as annoying, though, has been the difficulty in getting Premier to pay attention to the problem. Getting the worker out the first time took many persistent calls and a number of weeks. Same thing this time, they said several weeks ago (after many calls to the office) that someone would come by to take a look. Never happened. We wouldn't make a warranty claim, it's been too long since they "fixed" it the first time and would certainly expect to pay. But only if we could trust Premier to do the work right, and could actually get them to send someone out. So we're finally going with someone else.

The examples in the show-room are much more polished than the product, which turned out to be very rough cut and contained many long splits in the wood from nails; nails sticking out everywhere. One of the panels was not like the rest, it had different framing; a couple of the panels had boards that were too short. They delivered our product in a timely manner but forgot the gate, lattice, and some other components and had to come back. This delayed the installation. The gate turned out to be too small (our fault, not Premier's) and they asked me to bring it to them to be rebuilt. It was almost impossible to get a call back both at the time of ordering and when I tried to get my gate rebuilt. I had to call every day and leave messages until I got a call back. They told me it was going to take 2 weeks to fix my gate, even though my panels took 3 days to make. Overall I found the customer service and professionalism to be laughable, & the quality of product to be sub-par for the prices.

THIS WAS A SPECIAL SITUATION. I WAS NOT VERY HAPPY, AND THEY CHARGED A LOT. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM FOR FENCE REPAIRS.

It went very well. Their estimates were lower or just the same as two others, and their materials and choices were better. They also started when scheduled and finished one day early. When we had to change the order because of property line issues, they accommodated the request with no hassles. I would highly recommend them.

The estimate was the highest of the three obtained. Went with another company.

The salesperson was nice, and the quotation was quick - but the price was through the roof. Seems this company has an inflated idea of what their product and service is worth - either that or other bids were way too low! They bid $13,000 (with a discount) for a job another company bid $8,500 for (with additional work). Not a tough decision.

This company was hard to contact, didn't return my calls, and was defensive about the quality of their work from the beginning. Their service inspector told me that the problem with the fence was ''a faulty application'' in the first place--but that it was no longer under warranty that I'd have to pay for the repair--replacing posts. The repair person did not replace the posts, but realigned the old ones and claimed the job was done. I disputed the bill--it was not work that I had approved given what their inspector had said--and they agreed not to charge. I imagine that I will have continued problems with the fence, but I will not be doing business with them again.

Fence looks great but they placed the posts wherever they feel like it. Initially on city property. We had to pay for them to move all the posts. Owner wouldn't budge and help out with the price. I would recommend being very careful with placing the posts.

I had no problems; it was a smooth installation. It is holding up well, and it's been about 4-5 months.

THE FENCE LOOKS NICE. I RECOMMEND THEM.

OFFICE STAFF KEPT ME INFORMED OF THE PROGRESS OF MY JOB. SALESMAN (DEANE)ACCOMMODATING OF MY SCHEDULE, ON TIME, DISCUSSED VINYL VS. WOOD (MORE EXPENSIVE BUT LITTLE MAINTENANCE), FOLLOWED UP MONTH AFTER INSTALLATION. INSTALLER (JASON) ON TIME AND CREW COMPLETED WORK SAME DAY. CLEAN UP OK, BUT BITS OF CONCRETE AND ALLEY ASPHALT LEFT IN GRASS. BEWARE THAT EXCESS DIRT WILL INCLUDE ROCKS, CONCRETE AND REMNANTS OF FENCE (I.E. CHAIN LINK METAL). ONLY PROBLEM WAS PRICING. WHEN QUOTED, SALESMAN INCLUDED REMOVAL OF OLD FENCE IN WRITTEN BID BUT PRICE WAS NOT ITEMIZED. INCLUDED DISCOUNT FOR BOOKING BY SEPT 30 AND ANGIE'S LIST DISCOUNT. WHEN I ACCEPTED BID, SALESMAN SAID HE'D FORGOTTEN TO ADD REMOVAL COST IN PRICE (ABOUT $500). HE WOULD SUBMIT IT AND SEE IF IT PASSED OFFICE. IT DIDN'T, BUT THEY OFFERED A COMPROMISE OF ADDING $200 TO THE PRICE FOR REMOVAL. THIS WAS THE BOOKING DISCOUNT, IT WAS COMPARABLE TO OTHER BIDS AND I WANTED TO GET IT IN BEFORE WINTER SO ACCEPTED. HAPPY WITH OUTCOME.

THE WORK IS STUNNING. THE BID WAS THE MOST EXPENSIVE WE GOT FOR THE WORK, BUT THE SALES REP, DEANE, WAS THE MOST KNOWLEDGEABLE THAT WE MET WITH AND INSTILLED A SENSE THAT WE WOULD BE GETTING A QUALITY PRODUCT, SO WE WENT WITH THEM. ONCE THE WORK BEGAN IT WAS COMPLETE IN A WEEK. THE TEAMS THAT DID THE WORK EXPLAINED EVERYTHING AND GAVE US A VERY THOROUGH TOUR BEFORE LEAVING THE PROPERTY. MY HUSBAND AND I ARE THRILLED WITH THE WORK. IT WAS QUALITY AND THE COMMUNICATION AND TIMELINESS WAS WELL WITHIN EXPECTATIONS. SOMETIMES YOU REALLY DO GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR AND THIS WAS WELL WORTH IT.

GAVE AN ESTIMATE FOR A CEDAR FENCE. THEY WERE VERY QUICK IN RESPONDING TO PHONE CALLS AND IN THEIR ABILITY TO SCHEDULE AN ESTIMATE. VERY WELL INFORMED, HOWEVER THEIR ESTIMATE CAME IN AT TWICE AS MUCH AS AN IDENTICAL PRODUCT FROM ANOTHER COMPANY, SO WE DID NOT GO WITH THEM.

LOOKS GREAT. VERY SOLID. CREW DOES NOT REMOVE DIRT AFTER DIGGING POSTS SO HAVE SOMEONE SET UP TO DO THAT AHEAD OF TIME. WOULD USE AGAIN.
