Description of Work: Great experience from all involved--Chris in sales, Patty in scheduling and Jason on the install! Very knowledgeable, lots of attention to detail and organized and no mess on the installation. Although a bit higher priced than others, it was well worth it for the quality and overall experience. I love my fence.

Description of Work: They made a bid for the installation of a fence. When the crew came out to start construction they let me know the fence would not look like my existing fence. I wanted an existing fence continued the length of my sidewalk. The salesperson who gave me the incorrect bid did nothing to remedy the situation and correct his mistake other than have us pay the additional cost to make the fence look like I wanted (and had asked for at the time of the bid.) That cost put them well over the cost of other bids we had received to do the fence. Because they did nothing to remedy their mistake I was out the cost of pulling the permit for a fence that was never built.

Description of Work: We had some old chain link fence removed from our property and a new 6' privacy fence installed. It's a framed, solid board, cedar fence for most of the yard and then a smaller 15' section of 4' fence that was set into our concrete driveway. The sales rep, Ted, was super helpful and came out to help us re-design our idea for the fence several times, sometimes at the last minute. We told Premier about a rough deadline since we were going to be out of town and they said they would meet it. The installer came out on a rainy Monday and did the inspection, we talked about location and water and electrical and then he said since it was raining the posts couldn't go in that day which was totally understandable and appreciated. Came back to set posts a few days later and spent all Saturday and half of Sunday installing the boards on the fence. This installer likes to do jobs by himself so I think it took a little longer than if there were a group of people and the weather caused some delays but other than that the fence is beautiful and our dogs love it. When we originally booked Premier, they were able to install a temporary fence for our dogs to use during the winter months since we bought the house in December. We would definitely recommend Premier to friends/family/neighbors. |

+ -1 moreBILL WAS A VERY PLEASANT SALESMAN TO WORK WITH. NO PRESSURE SELL AND HE BROUGHT SAMPLES OF THE FENCE WITH HIM AS WE REQUESTED. WE WERE REALLY INTERESTED IN A GOOD COLOR MATCH TO OUR STUCCO AND IT MATCHED GREAT! THE INSTALLATION CREW OF JASON, BRIAN AND ADAM WERE GREAT. EXTREMELY EFFICIENT AND THEY WERE DONE WITHIN 1.5 DAYS. THE FENCE LOOKS GREAT AND REALLY ENHANCE THE USE OF OUR YARD BECAUSE WE LIVE ON A BUSY STREET. THE ONLY THING THEY HAVE OVERLOOKED IS THAT I STILL HAVE TWO POSTS BETWEEN MY GARAGE AND THE NEIGHBORS THAT NEED END CAPS. THESE POSTS ARE JUST CHAIN LINK, BUT THEY STILL NEED TO COMPLETE THIS WORK. THEY STAYED WITHIN THEIR QUOTE AND THE TIME PERIOD THEY TOLD ME IT WOULD BE COMPLETED IN.

+ -1 moreTHE WORK TURNED OUT GREAT. BILL JANSEN HAD GOOD SUGGESTIONS FOR ADDRESSING THE DESIGN CHALLENGES, AND THE INSTALLATION CREW WAS FAST, CAPABLE, DETAIL-ORIENTED, POLITE AND CLEANED UP THE SITE PERFECTLY. MY ONLY MINOR BEEF IS THAT COMMUNICATION COULD HAVE BEEN A LITTLE MORE TIMELY.
Description of Work: THEY BUILT A 6 FT. CEDAR PRIVACY FENCE FOR US IN THE BACK YARD, WITH TWO GATES. THE FENCE HAD SOME DESIGN CHALLENGES -SLANTED TERRAIN ALONG THE BACK AND A HALF-WALL RIGHT WHERE ONE GATE NEEDED TO GO.

+ -1 moreSALES PERSON WAS DETAILED, FRIENDLY AND PROFESSIONAL. PRICE WAS COMPETITIVE WITH OTHER BIDS I GOT. THE WORK WAS GENERALLY UP TO STANDARDS BUT SOME BUMPS ALONG THE WAY. WHEN I RECEIVED THE BID IN THE MAIL, THE SKETCHES DID NOT INCLUDE SOME SECTIONS OF THE FENCE THAT WE HAD DISCUSSED. THE WORK CREW FELL BEHIND WITH THE RAIN, WHICH IS ACCEPTABLE, BUT THEY DID NOT KEEP ME WELL-INFORMED ON THE JOB-STATUS.
Description of Work: ABOUT 35 FEET OF FLAT, DOG-EARED CEDAR FENCING WITH A GATE AND ANOTHER 20 FEET OF BLACK CHAIN LINK FENCING WITH A GATE.

THEY FIT US INTO A TIGHT SCHEDULE TO ACCOMMODATE OUR NEEDS, THE CREW WAS RESPECTFUL AND CLEANED UP AFTER THEMSELVES. THE CREW EVEN HANDLED A DIFFICULT NEIGHBOR WITH WHOM WE HAVE A RESTRAINING ORDER WITH GREAT RAPPORT. AWESOME JOB!! WE HAD BIDS FROM 6 COMPANIES, RECOMMEND GETTING AT LEAST 3 BIDS ON FENCING JOBS. THIS COMPANY AND OTHERS DO NEGOTIATE!!

BILL JANSEN (SALES ASSOCIATE) GAVE ME GREAT IDEAS, RESPONDED PROMPTLY TO MY MANY QUESTIONS, AND EVEN REFERRED ME TO COMPANIES THAT COULD HELP WITH MY OTHER HOUSEHOLD PROJECTS. MATT AND WAYNE (INSTALLERS) WERE PROMPT, COURTEOUS, AND DID A TOP-NOTCH JOB. I NOW HAVE A BEAUTIFUL, QUALITY FENCE THAT THE NEIGHBORS ARE COMMENTING ON. THE FENCE HASN'T EVEN BEEN UP FOR A WEEK AND ONE OF MY NEIGHBORS IS ALREADY WORKING WITH BILL TO GET A QUOTE. IF I HAD TO MENTION ONE AREA FOR PREMIER TO WORK ON, THAT WOULD BE SETTING EXPECTATIONS FOR WHEN THE PROJECT WOULD BEGIN. IT TOOK A BIT LONGER THAN ANTICIPATED FOR INSTALLATION WORK TO BEGIN, BUT ONCE IT STARTED, THE FENCE WAS COMPLETED WITH AMAZING SPEED. I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND PREMIER FENCE TO OTHERS.

HOWEVER, HE WAS VERY PROMPT IN RETURNING PHONE CALLS. WE WERE TOLD INSTALLATION WOULD BE DURING A SPECIFIC WEEK, THEN IT WAS CHANGED TO A DIFFERENT WEEK. WHEN I CALLED THE WEEK BEFORE TO FIND OUT WHAT DAY, I WAS TOLD IT WOULD BE THE NEXT WEEK. HOWEVER, ONCE WE WERE ACTUALLY SCHEDULED, A CREW ARRIVED RIGHT ON TIME AND THE FENCE LOOKS GREAT. PREMIER HAS BEEN BACK TO MAKE ADJUSTMENTS AND DID SO WITHOUT ANY FUSS.

+ -1 moreFIRST, TWO YOUNG GUYS SHOWED UP WITHOUT CEMENT. THEY STARTED DIGGING HOLES IN THE WRONG PLACES AND LEFT EXPENSIVE POSTS SITTING IN OPEN HOLES IN THE FRONT YARD. WE CALLED SEVERAL TIMES, LEFT SEVERAL MESSAGES, AND THEN FINALLY GOT SOMEONE OUT TO CLEAN UP. THE PERSON WHO CAME OUT ACTUALLY KNEW HOW TO INSTALL A FENCE. WE TALKED WITH HIM ABOUT WHERE THE POSTS SHOULD BE AND THEN FOUND OUT THAT THE PLANNING WE DID DURING THE ESTIMATE HAD VERY LITTLE TO DO WITH HOW A FENCE REALLY GETS INSTALLED. THIS PERSON WAS WONDERFUL, BUT WAS OBVIOUSLY OVERWORKED. A FEW DAYS LATER HE AND THE CEMENT ARRIVED AND THE POSTS WERE INSTALLED WITHOUT INCIDENT. THEN THE REST OF THE FENCE WAS HUNG A FEW DAYS LATER. WE THEN REALIZED THE WRONG STYLE OF GATE WAS INSTALLED. WE WERE BULLIED INTO PAYING FOR EVERYTHING EXCEPT THE GATE IMMEDIATELY. THEY TRIED AND FAILED TO GET US TO PAY MORE FOR THE GATE WE ORIGINALLY AGREED ON. IT TOOK WEEKS OF CALLING WITHOUT COMMUNICATION FROM THEM TO GET THE RIGHT GATE.

Description of Work: THEY INSTALLED 190+ FEET OF CEDAR FENCING. IT WAS AN ALTERNATING BOARD SCALLOPED FENCE WITH ATTRACTIVE CAPS, 2 GATES, AND ONE REMOVABLE PANEL. I RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY 110%. I COULD NOT BE HAPPIER. I HAD AN ESTIMATE 2 DAYS AFTER REQUESTING IT. THE FENCE WAS INSTALLED EARLIER THAN ORIGINALLY PREDICTED. I WAS NOTIFIED WHEN WEATHER CAUSED A DELAY. THE FOREMAN SETTING POSTS AND THE FOREMAN BUILDING THE FENCE WERE DIFFERENT, BUT EVERY SINGLE DETAIL HAD BEEN CORRECTLY PASSED FROM ONE FOREMAN TO THE OTHER. WHEN THEY WERE ABLE TO SET POSTS WITHOUT TAKING DOWN A CHAIN LINK BETWEEN MY YARD AND MY NEIGHBORS, THEY LEFT IT IN PLACE SO AS NOT TO INCONVENIENCE THEM AND THEIR DOGS.
