(ground prep) $300 - consisted of about a hour and a half of a walk behind tiller the results were so disappointing that I had the area re-tilled with a yard tractor (at my cost) On the day of installation things started out great, Matt (owner) showed up with two pallets of sod and began installation. He completed the two pallets about 1:30 it looked great, he said he was taking a lunch break and picking up another employee. He returned about 3:00 with two more pallets of sod and an employee. Then he unhooked the trailer from the truck and drove off. He had something more important than my sod, which was now drying on the trailer. I worked with the new guy about 3 to 4 hours until we completed the installation about 7:00 PM, the second half did not turn out good. He returned at about 9:00 pm and did not understand why I was upset, - hooked up the trailer loaded the equipment and left. I worked leveling the sod Wednesday morning, Thursday afternoon, and Friday morning after which he returned and rolled it. bottom line is I have sod, I also have about 8 hours of my time and a $100 tilling charge in the installation. If you decide to go with Precision Landscapes you need to get some assurance that Matt will do, or supervise from start to finish he does a good job installing , but that doesn't help when he has other commitments and drives off. fertilizer - $100 completed 1/2 yd black dirt - $75 completed lawn size about 1360 sq. ft
