I feel likeI hit the jackpot. Such a genuinely good person. And excellent handyman. I would call him again in a second!!!! I must of left messages with 8-10 people and only Ward and one other person got back to me!!!

The second story gutters had foam filters in them that were worn out, so he removed those, then cleaned and rinsed the gutters. There was a little water damage inside the house near the chimney and a roof vent, so he caulked the chimney and inspected the vent. Some of the roof vents may have had hairline cracks, so he sprayed those with an aerosol rubber coating. He took a few photographs of one vent to show me there didn't appear to be anything seriously wrong with it.

Ward was very honest, friendly and professional. He got the job done in a short amount of time and we are very happy with his work. He cleaned up after himself as well. I will definitely use him for any other jobs that we need done around the office.

He came alone, and arrived on time. He left the area clean. He is so skilled, and honest. We trusted him he was so good. I have recommended him to my job.

Ward is such a pleasure! He did more work than I had originally asked him to do and got it all done in a short amount of time. He also gave me great advice on asking the right questions of a tile company I have hired for later this month. He seemed truly interested in making sure the job would be done right even though he has no part in the work. Then as he was leaving, he also gave me valuable advice on how to stop the paint from chipping off my garage. What more can you ask of a handyman? I will never call anyone else.

We had 3 people come and give us estimates and we liked his estimate and my husband liked them, so we went with them. He did a good job and we would use him again.

Job was done quickly and well. Several ideas of small fixes in kitchen and walkthrough of what he could and couldn't do in a townhome update.

Ward is awesome. Efficient, great communicator, reasonably priced, prompt. Couldn't ask for better. Came out when scheduled, seamlessly installed the lights and switch I had purchased in a less than 2 hours. Piece of cake. A job well done. My second time using him, will use again as needed for handyman jobs I don't have time or skill to handle.

It went well. He was pleasant, professional, speedy and offered good suggestions. We had a family member who could not leave rehab until some of these upgrades were installed, so I especially appreciated his willingness to do the work with only two days notice.

Ward is a super nice guy and allows peace of mind while in your home (when you are away). He also pays special attention to assure that you are left a happy customer. He is also very fair in terms of price. That said, the quality of work was not up to par and we would not re-hire Ward for future work. In fact, we cut the project list short as a result of the quality of work. To be specific, Ward did a great job with the mudding and patching of our wall after removal of a medicine cabinet. He also did a good job re-adhering our above microwave cabinet to the wall and installing a new doorbell. Unfortunately, there's a longer list of items we are not as pleased with: 1) He installed a mailbox door and did not make sure it was level 2) He attempted to do some patchwork on our ceiling and we had to pay the painter to fix it as it was a bigger eye sore than it was to begin with (yet he still charged us for it) 3) He installed a layer of tiling in our shower surround which was not flush with the other tile work (he did come back to remedy this but it is still not completely flush) 4) When hanging our TV & Mount, he scratched the surface of our dresser and attempted to cover it up though it is still visible 5) He completed projects that were not on our list and charged us for them (some landscape step repair). Overall, Ward is a very nice guy and charges at a fair rate. I would recommend him only for projects you are certain he is comfortable with covering. His attention to detail / quality is not at the same level as mine and my husbands and that is precisely why we would not go with him again. If based on character however, Ward is a really nice guy. In response to Ward's on May 2nd: My review was not meant to be intentionally harsh. Rather, it was meant to use Angies List for the purpose it was intended for. My review was truthful. My husband and I were quite frustrated with the quality of work for all of the reasons stated in my review. I can certainly respond to all of my comments listed above and Ward's outreach to me after the review (with pictures as evidence) but I question the purpose. It is clear that Ward strives to satisfy his customers and I am sorry we were not able to give him a review that is consistent with many of his other reviews.

Ward replied promptly to my initial contact. Ward is very knowledgeable and he executes the job quickly and correctly. I would definitely use him again.

Everything went very well. These were some small house repair projects that I didn't want to handle. He was very responsive & professional.

I would definitely hire him again. He does good work. But it took forever for him to send me the bill. Everything was fine, the work was fine but the billing was not sent immediately. They said I was delinquent but I was waiting and waiting for it to come.

Great! Ward is so easy to deal with and helps find solutions to house problems and projects that stay in budget. He is very knowledgeable and does great work.

He is fabulous. He is quick, clean, reasonable. I can't say enough good about him. He is always punctual, if not early. I would continue to use him.

Ward did an excellent job. He arrived right when he said he would and did the entire assembly & installation in a little over an hour--starting with a ceiling fixture still in place & an unopened box for the fan. He even programmed the fan for us and got everything working perfectly. Ward is a good communicator, and asked us how we wanted different options solved, including where we wanted the remote control. The price was reasonable and Ward is very professional. We will definitely ask Ward to do more of those projects that we intend to do but just aren't getting around to. After all the procrastination on our part, he came in & made it look easy, which we both appreciated.

Ward responded to all of my communications in a timely manner. He promptly completed the work to my satisfaction and billed me within a few days. The entire process was smooth.

100% reliable and "above and beyond service." I couldn't ask for a better contractor- he treated our home as if it were his own.

Ward was so nice and so professional. He even dealt patiently and kindly with a dog I am tending to for a friend. He worked quickly, did more than what I had originally asked of him and I would highly recommend him.

In our kitchen we have an under the counter heat vent that had no baffle or control. I was going to simply replace it myself but discovered that the heating duct under the counter ended about 4" short of the register and was pouring heat into the space under the cabinet. In less than two hours Ward fashioned an extension for the duct and attached a proper register with a baffle. It was a tricky job because it involved working in the confined space under the cabinet, but now it looks and works great. Probably aren't too many people one could call on for a job like this.
