 + -1 moreOUR NEIGHBORS RAVED ABOUT PARROT HEAD, SO WE HAD HIGH HOPES THAT THEY MIGHT BE GOOD VALUE FOR THE MONEY. BUT THEY WERE VERY HESITANT TO GIVE US A BALL-PARK FIGURE FOR OUR PROJECT. AFTER PROVIDING THEM WITH ALL SORTS OF INFORMATION ON WHAT WE WERE LOOKING FOR, THEY CAME UP WITH AN ESTIMATE THAT WAS ABOUT 50-100% HIGHER THAN WHAT OTHERS THOUGHT WAS A REASONABLE RANGE. THEY WERE VERY GRUFF AND HARD TO COMMUNICATE WITH; I WAS LEFT WONDERING IF MAYBE THEY'D OVERSTATED THE COST JUST BECAUSE THEY'D RATHER NOT WORK WITH US. IN ANY CASE, WE WENT WITH SOMEONE ELSE.
Description of Work: WE WERE LOOKING FOR A BUILDER WHO MIGHT FINISH OUT A MASTER BEDROOM SUITE IN OUR UNFINISHED UPPER STORY OF A 100 YEAR-OLD BUNGALOW. WE WANTED QUALITY WORK IN KEEPING WITH BUNGALOW STYLING WITH SOME UNIQUE FEATURES, BUT HAD A TIGHT BUDGET AND WEREN'T SURE HOW MUCH OF OUR WISH LIST WE COULD AFFORD.
