It went very well. I have used their services before and would do so again. They are extremely hard workers and don't stop til the job is done and the customer is satisfied!

CALLED FOR BID/ GUY CAME OUT THE SAME WEEK/ WE SET TENTATIVE DATE HE CALLED PRIOR TO TENTATIVE DATE AND SCHEDULED A TIME HERE ON SCHEDULE AND FINISHED WHEN HE SAID HE WOULD

Guy came out and provided an estimate. He was very easy to work with and personable. We set a date several weeks later (post remodel on our kitchen) to paint all common areas. Work was done within two days, with Guy and an associate. Paint job is great.

Guy gave me a written estimate first, answered subsequent questions and then came back for the work at a later date. His demeanor is very relaxed and friendly. I left him and his partner to paint while I went to work. They cleaned up after themselves very well. Work done in one day. I got a bit anal about the space between the top of the walls and the popcorn ceiling and Guy came back and repainted the area and redid the ceilings for no addditional cost. It did take about 2 weeks between estimate and painting and painting and repainting and I had to do a follow up call to get a date both times. But I was pleased with the work and the way Guy humored me about the ceilings.

I reached the painter on my first try. He came out promptly and was very specific about the job. Three men did the painting over a period of about 3 or 4 days. They did a super job, were courtious and considerate, and they cleaned up after themselves. I am absolutely delighted with the work and the way that it was done.

Guy came in with a small crew and finished up a fairly large project in one and a 1/2 days. We (Don and Susy) think he did an awesome job: quick, professional and very reasonably priced. We will recommend Guy and Painwerks to family and friends in the future.

I had a very pleasant experience from start to finish. When I called Guy even though he was doing another job he told me he could come and give me an estimate over his lunch hour, after work or whatever worked with my schedule. He was prompt, pleasant and professional. His estimate was very comparable and I accepted his bid. They came (Guy, Carmine, and Tim) on time and proceeded to move all of the "heavy" furniture, (desk, huge entertainment center, bed, etc.) They did a wonderful job and cleaned up each evening prior to leaving. Having such a huge area to do I expected that it would take much longer. They are extremely hard workers and I would hire them again in a minute. I worked for a general contractor for 32 years and haven't met many subs that could compare in work ethics and attention to detail. They repaired several imperfections prior to starting and did two coats to all areas. I have 16 ft. ceilings in the great room and was very impressed with how easy they made it look! Guy asked at the end of the project if the job met my satisfaction. I told him it surpassed my expectations. You would not be disappointed in hiring Guy and his crew! I would and probably will hire them again in a minute! Keep up the good work Guy!

The job went great. Guy was on top of things from the beginning and was a joy to work with. He and his assistant were always very polite and respectful of our needs (and the napping needs of our 16 month old). They did an amazing job and I would not hesitate to use them again in the future. As an example of Guy's commitment to punctuality and his respect for the customer's needs he started the job at the agreed upon date and time despite there being a full on blizzard that morning. I expected to get a call that we needed to postpone, but he pulled through. Thanks!

Very well. Guy is very responsive and just joy to work with - we'll miss seeing him! I would highly recommend him, and I will definitely would work with him again when we have more funds in the future. I also like that he recommended that we work with a designer at Sherwin Williams (Laurie) to pick our room colors (complimentary with over $200 in paint fees); Laurie came to our home and was very knowledgeable, patient, and helpful. Guy and his crew took care of the furniture moving that we were unable to do, and Guy was extremely patient as we made one last minute change to the color palette. What a great experience! The process took about 9 business days and involved about 10 different rooms/hallways in a myriad of colors. We're very, very happy with the end result!

My wife and I would highly recommend Guy and his small crew for any exterior or interior painting project. Painting projects by definition cause a disruption of everyday activities but Guy and his team minimize the disruption. They are competent, quiet and respectful.

The experience went quite well. They were very punctual and professional. The job was done in one day, which was really nice.

Guy came for the estimate on the day I called. We set up the date for the painting. He had the paint mixed for my color choise. He and his partner were very polite, cleaned up and moved the furniture back. I would recommed Guy to everyone.

I inquired via e-mail on a Sunday and had a response back from Guy that same day. We set an appointment for an estimate the very next day at 11 a.m. I left work and met Guy at my home and he was right on time. The front exterior of my home was in rough shape, but he assured me I would be very pleased with the results. He told me exactly what he would do, what paint he would use and what I could expect once completed. He told me it would be 3-4 weeks before he could start the work. He would first come out and power wash the front and then come back to do the prep work. He would then apply two coats of paint. This was all done exactly as promised in the time frame promised (even with all the rain this fall!). Guy was excellent at communicating with me and keeping me informed. I am very happy and satisfied with the final results. I would highly recommend Guy and his company.

Job went smoothly. They finished in one day. Paint was matched well to my existing paint color. Happy with the service.

Guy and his partner were reallly polite and pleasant to have around. They cleaned up everyday and completed the job in a timely fashion. Our house looks wonderful again.

Guy was wonderful to work with. From the first day on the phone, thru the estimate, and throughout the entire job ... he was friendly, professional, and easy to work with. I could call him (and reach him) any time I had a question, and he was very responsive to my requests. He pays a great deal of attention to details and does an amazing job!! In one room, I had a blue wall with hand painted clouds on it - I did not want to lose the clouds - but I wanted the other walls painted. Unfortunately, some of the clouds "spilled over" onto the walls he was going to be painting. When I told him about wanting to "save my clouds" ... he actually hand painted around the clouds on the walls (see pictures) to allow them to remain!! I know that took a lot of extra time/effort ... and is just one example of how much attention he pays to the little details. He also gave me some very good advice about the colors I was painting on the different walls. I would definitely recommend him as well as use him again next time I need something painted!!

Guy contacted me within a day of my inquiry to set up an estimate. He was the third estimate and within 10 minutes of meeting him I knew I'd like him to do the job. Guy's communication skills are exceptional and I had an estimate that was very competitive before he left. He's very busy but doesn't that let that get in the way of providing as good a quality job as I've seen. One thing I like about the paint he uses is that it dries quickly and doesn't stink up the house like some other paints do. After the job was complete, he cleaned up thoroughly and asked if there were any areas we'd like him to touch up. A day after the job was complete he once again followed up to see if there were any issues. Great person with exceptional skills. Highly recommended.

He was very friendly. He called before he came and showed up on time. He cleaned up after himself very well and he was kind and pleasant. I would use him again.

I had a great experience. Guy followed through on everything we talked about from start to finish. I told him I wanted low VOC(environmentally and lung-friendly paint)materials used only-that's what he used. Guy fit me into his schedule on short notice before he went away for Christmas vacation. On top of all of that, Guy did extras that he didn't have to do-but he did them-and didn't charge me for it. And he gave me an Angie's List discount. Examples of those extras he provided: During a previous painting project, I was sloppy and got bright orange paint on my ceiling in a few spots. Guy went ahead and covered them with white for me. I had been planning to touch that up for years and didn't ever get to it. Guy was awesome with my dogs too. Last but not least, Guy was great about putting things back the way he found them. I had just hurt my back around the time he painted. When he realized he may not have pushed the Christmas tree back, he either called me or e-mailed me to realize he had forgotten and offered to come back to do it! I highly recommend Guy. Dustin was great too-very hard worker and nice guy.

After Guy came to give us an estimate, we decided to choose him to paint our cabinet. I called him and informed him that we decided to hire him to paint the cabinet. He was not so sure about all the cabinets that need to be painted after I mentioned the cabinet besides the sink that has a basket attached to it so he came to our house the second time to see all the cabinets. On his second visit, he said that he would charge $75 more and we accepted his offer. We asked when he can start and he said he is right now in the middle of doing a very big project but can start next week. He emailed me later that he will give me a call on Friday but he did not give me a call so I called him on Friday night Jan 30. He said he does not know when he can start until next Tuesday. He emailed me on Wednesday saying he will come and pick up the cabinet panels on Saturday and asked me to prepare all the cabinet panels for him. He came on Saturday to pick up the cabinet panels. I went over with him about all the cabinet panels again and he said that he did not see the cabinet with a basket attached to it before. While we talked, my boyfriend was cutting the last piece of cabinet panels. Guy was very angry that the cabinet panels and the paint are not ready for him right away. I asked him to wait for 15 minutes but he did not want to and kept telling me that this is a very small project. He wasted so much time coming to my house the third time (The first time is when he came to give me an estimate. The second time is when he came to see all the cabinet panels again. The third time is when he came to pick up the cabinet panels which is today.) He said it would take him just 5 minutes to do a $10,000 project. It is not economical to this project anymore since we do not have the cabinet panels and the paint ready for him to pick up immediately. I told him I am very sorry more than 5 times that everything is not ready for him to pick up immediately but he still kept complaining. He told us to find another contractor and left. We waited for him for 2 weeks and he could not even wait for 15 minutes.

Guy and Dustin did a fabulous job. They were able to fit us in shortly after we signed the contract. It took them two days to paint the condo and it's looks great. We threw a curve-ball at them in that we wanted some very unique and unusual horizontal stripes on one wall. Dustin worked with us to ensure that the measurements met our expectations and used professional judgment in reaching perfection. They are exactly what we had envisioned. I was impressed with the work due to the uniqueness of the request and the broad explanation of what we wanted. Both Guy and Dustin were great to work with and they did very nice work. We didn't spend much time at home while they were there, but with the few moments we had to chat with them, they were extremely pleasant and easy going, both personable. They did a really nice job with clean up as well. I would recommend this crew to anyone looking for paint work. I am confident that we will use them again in the future.

Guy was very personable and professional. We only needed the front of the house painted from hail damage. He got the color an exact by taking off a board and bringing it with to get paint. All other estimates we got said they couldn't match it. They took the house numbers off the house and the screws were striped so he came back the next day with new screws and put them back on. He went above and beyond my expectations, and it looks great!

Guy is very professional and personable. When he came to do the estimates, he pointed out issues about the exterior maintenance unrelated to the painting job that we needed to attend to. We had other projects going on so we told him to do the actual work a little bit later in the summer and he was very accommodating. He and his team did a great job painting. Afterwards, he called to follow up to be sure everything went well.

Guy was prompt at visiting our home and providing an estimate. He gave me an approximate date as to when the work would be done and then called to keep me updated as the date approached. He and his crew were very thorough in the prep work and kept the job site clean and tidy throughout the duration of the job. They were also very respectful of the needs of the people and dogs in my household and painted according to our scheduled comings and goings. We had some intermittent rain during the week, and Guy kept me informed of how the job would progress during those days. They finished the job in the predicted amount of time and the house looks wonderful! Guy and his crew were respectful and professional but at the same time were personable and fun to have around. I would definitely recommend this company for anyone interested in exterior painting!

I called Guy for an estimate on a job that we needed done in the next 2 weeks. He told me honestly he was a month out, but gave me the name and number of another painter that he highly recommended. He was very friendly and I appreciated him trying to accommodate my needs.
