Description of Work: DO NOT HIRE THESE GUYS!!!! Did a canvas of our neighborhood, should have looked at angies list...they came in did the service of cutting 2 trees in our back yard, did a very poor job cleaning up, asked them to do a better job and told me that they had no tools for clean up...I borrowed them mine and they still did a poor job. Was told to call back for the stump removal as there was frost still in the ground. Made the mistake of paying in full...numerous calls go directly to voice mail. No return calls. Will continue to call. If no response I will file a letter with the better business bureau. Hire someone else...pay the few extra bucks. not worth the hassle.

I'm always amazed at the skill these guys have with their ability to climb trees and use their chain saws. I thought the process went fairly well throughout the day and generally left them alone. As they dropped branches my lawn was getting chewed up pretty badly but that seems part of the process I have to accept. Then I was shocked to learn they had been driving their Bobcat loader over my next door neighbor's lawn, leaving serious indentations on it. I asked that they stop that but by then the job was nearly done. I discussed payment with the owner and said I would pay $800 now and $200 when then returned to grind out the stump. The owner said he needed the full amount to pay his crew (this was the day before Thanksgiving) and I relented and paid the full amount with the promise that he would return the following Monday to grind the stump. My mistake. He never returned and never answered my two phone calls to him. Lesson learned. I felt the charge was good for the service but the full service was never completed. Therefore the low grade.
Description of Work: Removed 44-year-old ash tree that had overgrown the yard. Remove all branches and trimming to their shredder parked in the street and grind the stump down level with the yard. This was in response to the company canvassing my neighborhood and handing out flyers. They also did work for several of my neighbors.

It started very well - a group of four hard-working guys came the morning after we discussed the job. They worked really hard, but left quite a mess at the end of each day. For example, they left trees and tree branches all over our neighbors' yards, and they ran the Bobcat through neighbor's yard and tore it up. We came home from work to find trees all over our yard and our neighbor's yard. It took us both about a half hour to move them from the neighbor's yard into our yard. We were really embarrassed. It took a little over a week to finish the wall. It looked pretty nice - with some problems. Unfortunately, they didn't add enough fill to the yard; it still had quite a slope. But, they promised to come back fix that problem and a few others items that we discussed. After one rainy night a few days later, we learned that they did not secure the retaining wall or drain it properly. It came apart and now has nearly collapsed. The ground in the backyard is very unstable, and we have to keep the kids away from it. We called Dustin and his company several times. Finally, Dustin did come by and promised to fix it on a Friday with his crew. That was nearly three weeks ago. We left several messages. He didn't returned our calls, and he probably won't come back. We are really disappointed and feel completely scammed. We now have a swing set for the kids that is sitting in our garage, and we'll probably have to give it away. Please do not make this mistake - it's an expensive one.
Description of Work: Gave us an initial bid of $4,800 to add fill, flatten our small backyard, trim/remove some trees, and put in a timber retaining wall (53 x 5). We wanted to put up a swing set for our kids.
