+ -1 moreNONE OF THE ISSUES THEY RAISE COUNTER THE FACT THAT THE INSTALLER IMPROPERLY INSTALLED THE FLOOR, AND FAILED TO PERFORM HIS PROFESSIONAL DUTY OF NOTIFYING MEMBER ABOUT ARISING ISSUES.
Description of Work: PURCHASED CONGOLEUM FLOORING, AND REQUESTED THEY INSTALL THE MATERIALS IN TOWN HOME. THE FLOORING WOULD EXTEND FROM A BATHROOM TO THE KITCHEN AND DINING ROOM, IN ADDITION TO THE ENTRY WAY. THE INSTALLER FAILED TO FOLLOW MANUFACTURER'S DIRECTIONS ON THE INSTALLATION. FURTHERMORE, HE ILLEGALLY COVERED A DRY SINK. WE HAVE WITHHELD PAYMENT AND VOICED DISSATISFACTION. HE ACKNOWLEDGES HE FAILED TO FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS, COVERED THE DRY SINK, AND EVEN SAID THAT IF HE SPOKE WITH MY MOM ABOUT THESE ISSUES, HE WOULD HAVE HAD TO CHARGE MORE. IT SEEMS HE WAS OUT TO MAKE A QUICK BUCK AND WORRIED ABOUT LOSING THE PROJECT DUE TO COSTS, REGARDLESS OF THE CONSEQUENCES. HE COUNTERS THAT PROBLEMS WITH THE FLOOR ARE RELATED TO THE STRUCTURE, AND A WATER SPILL CONTAINED TO THE BATHROOM. THIS WAS A WATER SPILL HE NEVER SAW.
