Description of Work: Redeck & re-roof, plus total reconstruction of seriously sagging soffits, and new gutter systems, & flashing.

+ 2 moreDoug, the owner, was very open in communications and expectations. We have done a significant amount of prior re-model work before Norcon. We were used to "floating schedules and timing". For example, something should be here on Tuesday, one should ask "which Tuesday". Doug (Norcon) was very prompt with timing and schedule. If there was a variance that was outside of his control, he let us know promptly. If he was expected to be onsite at a certain time, he was typically early. I have already recommended Norcon to several neighbors without hesitations. Norcon may not be the cheapest option, but I would rather pay a little more for the confidence in the result and the quality of the work.
Description of Work: We decided to work with Norcon because it is a locally owned and operated with 10+ years of "local" history. Our project started with as siding only. We went with pre-finished Wausau Siding, which is a post process to LP SmartSide. As with many homes ~30 years old, there were several other areas of need. Doug's knowledge and confidence in identifying and discussing them with us led us to also address some of those issues. Doug resolved a preexisting issue with the front portico. The original construction was not level with the house. He deconstructed and resolved the issue with minimal damage and completed the work quickly and with perfect results. He also did the work without impacting the schedule of the siding as well. We could not have been happier with the quality and promptness of his work. He has a broad range of skills, and a deep network of people he works with as well.
