Nick's Chimney Service & Duct Cleaning

Great service. Timely. Professional. Would recommend them to anyone and everyone. Wonderful crew too. I am very very very HAPPY!

Nick's team was right on time (in fact, they called ahead to say they would be early) and very professional. The were respectful of my home and quickly performed the chimney sweep. They also provided a thorough recap of the situation, including photos, and recommendations and cost at time of appointment. The work was unable to be completed that day due to not having all the right equipment, but that didn't matter to me since they would come back within a couple days and didn't need anyone there for the repair work since it was all outdoors. It turned out that when they were able to come back, I happened to be home. Nick came (with his son) and did the work himself...it was probably 40 degrees, with at least 20mph winds and he completed the work flawlessly. I am very pleased with the result and feel confident I will not need any chimney work on my home for quite a while. Nick was very honest, as well, with regards to what he would recommend in the future regarding cleaning. I really appreciated that.

It took them less than 15 minutes to complete so the only reason a few areas received a B & C was the fact that it really should cost $99.00 for less than 15 minutes of work? But the crew was very nice and I have had several fires in the chimney and everything is working properly.

When Nick arrived, he was very professional. Both he and his co-worker took their shoes off before walking through the house and paid attention to details. The only challenge we had was in the up-front communication. After buying the deal on Angie's List, I didn't hear from this company until they stopped by intending to perform the service. The issue was, I wasn't home because I hadn't been informed of their intent to come over. From there, things went incredibly smoothly. We scheduled the appointment and, as I mentioned above, it went very well. I was glad to hear that my chimney is in good shape (and now it is clean). I would utilize Nick's services again in the future.

I contacted Nick through Angie's online service. He responded within several hours and was able to arrange for the service the next day. He arrived early and did the work even though we weren't able to be home. A neighbor was available for any questions and he reported back to us that Nick was personable and professional. The whole process and easy and affordable.

They were great! Nick accommodated us to get us on the schedule for a day that we would be at home. His crew was very friendly and professional. They did excellent work and were more than happy to answer any questions we had. They pointed out areas of concern with our chimney and explained possible fixes. They offered their services to make the corrections, but were by no means pushy about it. They also provided a requested estimate on chimney repair.

Nick returned my call promptly and sent two of his guys to do an estimate the next day. The other chimney service never got back to me with an estimate, so I went with Nick and he got me on the schedule a few days later. On the day of service, he and his crew showed up early (which was fine) and were very courteous and professional. As a woman dealing with male contractors, I have often dealt with condescending jerks in the past, so I really appreciate it when this does not happen. They did not talk down to me at all when I asked questions, and they were great about cleaning up any mess they made during the job, which is also rare and appreciated. The job was done well, on time and actually cost less than the estimate due to their Angie's List coupon. I would definitely use Nick's again!

I had a conflict with time when after I made appointment nick was kind enough to redo the time for me but then they were about an 30 min later than latest they said when they showed they went right to work they had to go to store to get screening to keep bats out of chimney but then did it quickly when they got back

Nick and his team were incredible! They were efficient, completing both tasks quicker than we anticipated, while providing exceptional service. Unlike other contractors we had contacted who gave an estimate based on eyeballing it from the street (our house is three stories tall), Nick actually climbed up on the roof and took pictures of our chimney. With that, he was able to specifically and accurately explain exactly what needed to be repaired. Additionally, with this extra effort, his estimate was significantly less expensive than other bids we received. My wife and I highly recommend Nick and his team and will definitely be using his service if needed in the future.

I highly recommed Nick without any reservations! He and his team are incredibly professional and have saved me hundreds of dollars compared with other service providers. Everything they promised they delivered on. I really appreciate the time Nick spent on explaining what was going to be done and why. It was a very different experience than what I had with another contractor.

I was absolutely thrilled with Nick's responsiveness. We recently discovered the chimney was a leak source and rain was on its way. He called me back the same day I contacted him after finding him on Angie's list. He worked us into his schedule the VERY NEXT DAY! I could not have been more pleased. We had two other bids that only confused us about what needed to be done. Nick was the only company that provided us pictures so we could see what he was seeing. His bid was competitive and his responsiveness simply couldn't be beat. He was polite and professional.

Great! Nick arrived on time and completed the job add requested and efficiently. He also repaired the flashing around the chimney and removed an old antenna at no additional charge. Great job, would definitely use again.

I called Nick's Chimney Service on a Sunday night and left a VM to call me that morning to set up when he could come out and look over my chimney. Before 8AM the next morning Nick returned my call. I was very impressed by his responsiveness to my message in todays world you can wait for ever for someone to call you back. Nick said he could come out on Thursday at 1PM to look over my chimney and let me know what the costs would be. At 1PM sharp Nick and his crew were ringing my bell, again I was amazed at his outstanding customer service. We agreed to have him fix our chimney he said they would be out on Tuesday at 8AM. At 8AM sharp on Tuesday our bell was ringing and Nick and his crew went right to work and completed the job inside 2 hours. Their professionalism and workmanship is outstanding. Nick also, guarantees all of his work he is very confident in his and crew abilities to perform beyond your expectations. I will use him anytime I need chimney work done.

overall just did wonderful work! He is a very genuine business man who is very trustworthy! Left him my key to do what he needed and we are beyond pleased! He will be the only chimney/fire place company we will call in the future! He is a very busy guy but Always fits us in to get the job completed! Thank you Nick!!!

Arrived early. Took about one hour or less. Very thorough and showed me the cracks needing repairs. Professional and very good.

Nick's Chimney Service was at our house today to replace some bad bricks and tuck point. We actually were referred to the company by a fried who had used them in the past, as we needed to get a second opinion. A different company had given us a very pricey quote and said we needed nearly 50 bricks replaced and that our chimney was going to fall off our house! Nick did a full inspection of the chimney and assured us it was safe and in good condition and that only 15 bricks needed replacement. All of the staff were courteous and friendly and Nick did a great job explaining what needed to be done. They left our roof and driveway clean and tidy. We greatly appreciated getting his professional option and expertise on our project. I would highly recommend their company and would gladly use their services again!

When they arrived, they told me that the cleaning service wouldn't work for the exhaust flue of my boiler, but only applied to standard chimneys, which my house didn't have. I haven't been in contact since that date. They suggested that I could apply for a refund or transfer the coupon to someone else. They were courteous and informed about the needs of my house.

I had a squirrel that was determined to live in my chimney. I called Nick and left a message for him. He called me back within 20 minutes and said he could stop by the next morning at 9am. He showed up early (!) and got right to work. He installed the cap within minutes and told me that darned squirrel was on the roof looking to get back in the chimney. So, he came inside and unhooked the vent coming from my water heater that goes up the chimney. He cleaned out some nesting materials and told me that the back-up could have caused carbon monoxide poisoning. He also took some pictures of some damage to the chimney and provided an estimate. He was very quick, professional and I would definitely hire him again in the future.

Nick is an ethical, professional and prompt business man who has won me over completely. Seldom have I been so impressed with someone's services. I called Nick because of an ice dam on my chimney that caused a water issue in my house. Nick came to my home the same day I called and left a written estimate for the repairs in my mail box ( I was at work) and also took photos of the needed repairs while he was on the roof and sent them to my cell phone. I have been able to communicate to the insurance company and to the contractors regarding the needed chimney repairs.( Insurance told me they don't go on the roof when ice and snow are present, so would not be able to estimate a repair). Due to weather an ice dam soon began to reform once again and I called Nick to ask if the chimney cap should be replaced right away since the existing cap was what was causing the ice dams.. He agreed and was out the very next day even though the temp was way below zero and installed he new chimney cap. I am still in the process of getting estimates to repair my kitchen from the water damage caused by the ice dam...The contractor who was here today, after me telling him I was firm on using Nick for my chimney repairs, I found was already familiar with him, and had nothing but praise for his work and professionalism.
