Nick's Chimney Service & Duct Cleaning

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was good. They did what they said they were going to do. I did some more work with them after. He called to remind us that he was coming. He was on time. He was easy to work with. For the inspection, he actually got up on the roof, which was pretty steep. He identified a few things that were wrong and what we could do to fix them. We ended up having him come back and do some more work. It was a really good deal.

We were required to have our chimney cleaned prior to installation of a gas fireplace. The place where we purchased our fireplace recommended two companies to complete the work. Both estimates were over $200. As I usually do, I consulted Angies List, and Nick's Chimney Service & Duct Cleaning was highly recommended. They lived up to the recommendations. Not only was their cleaning half what the competition was, but they provided evidence of how clean the chimney was through use of a T.V. camera. We were very pleased with their service and professionalism.

I am very pleased that I used Angie's List because she sent me a special offer for this service for $99. It was a great deal and in fact someone we told about it, asked to have him call and ended up hiring him also.

Nick and his assistant were clean and careful in their work in my home. I chose to have Nick remove the animals from the fireplace for a little extra charge. It took quite a while to humanely remove the babies and their mom and to cap the chimneys. All is well, with MOM and babies now living in a burrow under my barn.

I have an Angie's coupon. When I called they responded very quickly. Two man crew did the work in about half an hour.

Very friendly and helpful. Took shoes off and kept home clean except for black fingerprints on front door.

We needed a quick response following a chimney fire at our home. Nick Arredondo responded to our call very promptly and similarly scheduled an inspection visit promptly. The project turned out to be a small one for Nick (he replaced two chimney caps), but we were entirely satisfied with his responsiveness and demeanor. He was efficient and pleasant to deal with, and we intend to call him to schedule periodic chimney cleaning.

This is the second time I have used Nick - he is very pleasant and honest. Was prompt. Very fair price.

We bought the $99 Chimney Sweep & Inspection from Angie's List for Nick's Chimney Service 1 week ago. I emailed Nick and he promptly set up a time to get the service scheduled. On the service date, he and another worker showed up promptly on time, were very professional, and got right to work. They laid out a plastic sheet to protect the area around the fireplace, vacuumed out everything out, did the inspection, and even fixed the flue (no extra charge). Then they inspected the chimney and did the sweep. Everything was completed in only 30 minutes and they did a great job. I'd highly recommend Nick's Chimney Service to anyone looking for a quick (but thorough) chimney sweep and inspection.

Nick arrived promptly and quickly evaluated what work needed to be done. Two of his crew performed cleanup of fireplaces (2) and dampers. Nick repaired the chimney cap and cleaned the flue liners. Nick showed us before and after pictures of the chimney cap. He and his crew worked quickly and they completed the job in an hour. Nick and his crew were very friendly, good humor, and nice to deal with.

I called, he came the next day. Did job well and made no mess.

He did not try to oversell his service as evidenced by the fact that after inspecting my fireplace and chimney, listening to my burning behavior, type of wood burned, etc, he recommended a cleaning every two years. Nick was able to squeeze us in during the busy holidays in between two jobs. He was very professional and neat. Had two helpers who were very neat as well. His price was almost half of what other companies quoted us. Will def use him again.

He put in a lot of effort to get me the warranty for the chimney cap. I really liked working with him.

Arrived on time. Courteous. Efficient service. Added second chimney at discount while they were here. Left the cap off first chimney cleaned.. When I called this omission to their attention, they replaced it promptly. Would have given an A for quality, but felt replacement of the cap should be a routine checklist item before the company leaves a site.
