Arrived much earlier than I had anticipated, which was OK as they were squeezing me into their schedule to accommodate other non-electrical work being done. Very quick and professional.

Great! My 1920's house had only the ceiling light and I was tired of working in my own shadow. I didn't want to remove all the cabinet in order to run wires behind. Instead, they ran the conduits up through the cabinets. The lighting looks great and I can see what I'm doing!

Turned out to be simple fix, but he was good at recommending ways to avoid problem in future and charged reasonable rate for visit.

Fantastic! Jessie was so professional and helpful. Once the problem was found, a faulty ceiling fan, he ask if he should remove the fan. He talked about how a new one should be installed saying it was fairly easy. Then he suggested we go buy a new fan ( I have been wanting to install a ceiling light in the old fan.) and he would return in three hours to install it. We found a beautiful fan with a light. He came back and installed. He was ever so helpful. I was over the moon at the service price. Less than three hundred dollars for all of that work. Mary Jane

I got 3 estimates for this work. NEI was by far the simplest solution and thus the least costly. My initial call was returned in a few hours. A date for the estimate was set. Chris arrived right on time, studied the situation and recommended the perfect solution. He had to order the wall heater, and work around our vacation, so we set a date 3 weeks out. He came right on time. The installation went very smoothly. Everything was cleaned up beautifully. I'd surely call NEI again.

The company responded to my message to schedule a service call within a half hour. They scheduled my work to be done in less than a week. Jesse arrived right on time and was friendly and efficient. He found the ceiling fixture in the bedroom was the issue and installed the new fixture. He also installed a new electrical outlet in my hallway. He was here for an hour and also cleaned up after he was finished. I was very pleased with the company's responsiveness and the quality of the work that was done. I have used NEI before and I will definitely call them again.

I received an email the day following my call stating that Eric would be in touch with me regarding my request. He responded by email a couple of days later with their general prices for various services. This was not what I had asked for but I emailed Eric in May and told him we had reviewed the options and decided which services we wanted to have completed. I also said sometime in early June would be a good time. I asked him to call me to set up a time to have the work done even though I had never gotten an estimate. He called me back within a few days and left a message asking me to contact him. I called in early June, but didn't hear back from him. I then sent him another email on June 10th asking him to contact me. I still have heard nothing from him either by email or phone. This is not at all the type of service we have received from this company in the past. They were very responsive to my calls and emails when arranging for other work to be done. In fact, we have not even gotten estimates from other providers for electrical work as NEI in general and one electrician in particular have been so satisfactory. I'm undecided at this time if I will use them again.

He was to the point. When I asked him about certain things he was able to tell what they could do and he seemed to know what he was talking about. He didn't seem like he was trying to sell me anything.

Outside light wouldn't work, also the outlet that shares the same switch box. Chris from NEI first checked the circuits and breakers and then told me that the replacement bulb in the lamp was also faulty (red face on my part). He diagnosed the outlet problem as being a faulty switch, which he replaced. He also replaced the outside light with something a little more modern, my son complaining that a 1950's-era jelly jar was no longer in vogue. Excellent service, prompt, courteous and efficient. Will use again.

The electrician was great. He could not have been a nicer guy and been more helpful. He advised for and against a number of different things we were asking to be done. In the end, he saved us money.

I would definitely use this company again. My sister and I were very pleased with the service. It was very easy to make an appointment - the people on the phone were pleasant and efficient. Dan arrived on time and solved a power problem in the garage that turned out to be a tripped breaker. He then tackled the basement and repaired most of the lights that have not worked for years. He replaced 5 or 6 ballasts and replaced a fixture. He was knowledgeable, pleasant and efficient. We have other electrical issues to solve in the future and will call NEI without hesitation.

I would say the whole process went extremely well. The electrician that came out determined the problem was with a circuit breaker that was located in our upstairs bathroom and he figured that out in about 2 seconds. The outlet installation went very well too. He installed 4 new outlets and did some re-wiring so the circuit that the wood working equipment is plugged into is now located in our garage (note: I'm not sure if I've described that correctly). The electrician, his name is Jesse Clapper, was excellent. He arrived promptly at 7 am and was finished within about 2 hours. He was very courteous and he completely explained everything clearly to me in understandable terms and his estimate was accurate too. I would certainly recommend him and NEI Electrical highly and would call upon them again for any future electrical work.

As usual with NEI it went great. Making the appointment was easy and the guy on the phone explained that Xcel didn't do this kind of work anymore. Jesse the electrician showed up on time, did the work quickly and went the extra step to caulk some old holes where the three electric lines previously were attached to the house. Asked if there was anything else electrical that needed attention at the house and answered questions about the flickering lights in the kitchen (the dimmer on CFLs) and about an additional light for the garage (a later project). We've worked with different electricians from NEI and all of their people are excellent at the work and customer service.
