Description of Work: Craig removed our existing formica countertops in the kitchen and bathroom, 50sq. ft plus, and installed some beautiful granite, including backsplash, edging, and sinks. All in one day. He worked with our quick schedule to have the countertop installed by Thanksgiving. I could never get the full price out of other bidders, but craig said his price included all the above, so it was an easy choice. He also offered follow up work at no cost if required. He has 30 plus years in the business, so I felt confident. Glad we went with Minnesota Custom Stoneworks.

Craig was so awesome! He was really patient with our whole family (included my wild 3 year old) as we wandered through the whole warehouse of choices. His price was great and our granite was installed almost 3 weeks sooner than any other place could do. The day of the install, the two guys were extremely nice and professional and our counters look great! Highly recommended.

Although the finished product looks okay, there were some issues in the fabrication process that didn't meet my expectations. Some of the counters were poorly measured and the overhangs, which I feel should be consistent, vary by quite a bit. Part of a wall had to be removed to fit one section of counter in. There were also some problems with the finish, but those were resolved promptly. Pricing was sort of ambiguous. I asked for a materials/labor breakdown, but wasn't given one. The final price was the same as the estimate, so that wasn't an issue. I do understand that the cost of the material I chose had to be factored in. I think the price I paid was comparable to what other fabricators would have charged.

Craig was referred by a very trustworthy general contractor friend of ours. Craig personally guided us through the stone decision process at a wholesaler and his recommendations were outstanding. Craig and his team did an excellent job with the install. No detail was left undone. The granite was delivered and installed on the date promised. Craig was able to obtain a remnant piece for our center island, which saved us over $500. We would use Minnesota Custom Stoneworks again and have already referred them to a family member. The price they quoted was very reasonable, particularly for the service given.
