Bait and switch, i had a refi and a purchase that I brought to Joe and I explained my situation which involved some very sensitive timelines. He assured me that these time constraints were not going to be an issue --- until after he had my money for the appraisal. After that his story changed, he then started giving me different answers and started telling me how we had to push out closing dates for the purchase. I don't want to bore you with the details but I had to switch mortgage companies because his tune changes so abruptly after getting my money. I had to switch to a different lender and it looks like he is going to cost me the house I was trying to purchase because of the time he wasted making false promises. I am sure he will respond to this that I do not know what I am talking about. I have worked in finance for 20 years, manage multiple investment properties and have acquired dozens of different mortgages. This guy is dishonest and his prices are not competitive. You can do better...

No problems

Joe gave me a call a few days after I requested more information from his website. His website stated that I'd hear back from someone in about an hour's time, but as the day went by and I didn't receive a call back from him, I gave up and began shopping elsewhere. Two days later, Joe gave me a call to discuss my interest. I told him that I had already gone with another lender after shopping around, but he proceeded to casually chat with me about the mortgage process and provided some useful information from an insider in the industry. He's a very knowledgeable individual and you can tell that he is very passionate about his work. He knew that I had already gone with another lender, but still spent a considerable time with me on the phone explaining mortgages and how the business works. He is an upfront mortgage lender and you can truly tell that he works on behalf of his clients for their best interests, not his. I know if I were shopping for a loan again, I'd call Joe first.

It went great both times. Joe is a true professional and works very hard to make sure that his clients fully understand all aspects of their mortgage options, including how everybody in the business gets paid (lenders, brokers, agents, etc.). He has been a true pleasure to work with both times and the final numbers have always been right in line with his original estimates, no surprises of any kind. I would recommend him highly.

Joe continued to offer me explanations and help through a very difficult sale by giving me an accurate overview of what closing costs should be and what I, as a buyer, could demand. I had already committed to a family friend for financing so Joe did not finance my house which makes him even more remarkable! I wish I had found him first. His advice and counsel saved me lots of money and time. This is an amazing man. If I ever need financing in the future, I will definitely go to him.
