Andy was just a wonderful professional to work with. He was prompt. He was clear in what we needed to do and how it would proceed. He worked with a local plumber and made the whole project come together in under 4 weeks. Fantastic! If I could rate him any higher I would!

Very happy to have found Andy. He provided a great solution to our unsightly alcove and made our embarrassing bathroom presentable again. Professional, helpful, punctual, reasonably priced and did excellent work.

The tile looks great and he was very easy to work with. He also made some design suggestions to make the project look nicer. Would recommend his work.

He does beautiful work. He has great design ideas and does high quality work. If there was ever a problem he would come back and check on it. He was very good at his job. We will use him for all our tile needs.

They did excellent work and were very conscientious.

Not good. Work started 10/31/07. He removed the toilet and, in the process, broke the shut-off knob which created a flood in the bathroom, went to 2 clothes closets on first floor and went down open toilet drain to puddle on carpet in family room. Worst part is that he did not tell me and I discovered it getting dressed on 11/1 when my whole closet and clothes were wet. He put the broken pipe in a glass jar which tipped over sometime during the night and the leak continued all night. I have a lot of concerns. Is the tile floor ok as he did the subfloor when floor was flooded? Plaster ceilings in 2 closets are now peeling paint and hardwood floors are raised a bit. Drywall ceiling in family room is stained and puckered. I have lost sweaters and shoes and taken other clothes to cleaners and washed sweaters by hand. We plan to sell the house next Spring and now have to disclose this flood which we had nothing to do with. I would like to participate in a Complaint process.

Andy is very professional, organized and well mannered. He does the majority of the installation work himself. We were given his name by a tile store. We received 3 bids and went with Andy based on his price being the most favorable. We also felt more comfortable going with a local guy who performs the work himself vs. a large installation shop and not knowing which employee would be out to do the work. Andy showed up when he said he would and took care to place drop cloths on our floors and cleaned up after himself each night. He treated our home like he would treat his own. Workmanship was excellent. We would highly recommend McCabe Tile to anyone needing tile work. He followed up with us a couple weeks after the job was complete to schedule a time to come back and seal the grout.

Andy listened to our thoughts and concerns and paid close attention to detail. As a result, we are very happy with our new floor. He was on time and cleaned up at the end of each day.

He was very flexible and quick. Works very fast. Good suggestions on who we should work with. Very professional and showed up on time. Overall, takes pride in his work and is very nice.

We ended up going with another company but McCabe Tile was the only company who actually responded via email which I really appreciate. It was also nice that they could give a ballpark estimate by discussing the project over the phone without having to schedule them to make an appointment to come over.

It went fairly well. There were a few problems that were discovered after the walls were stripped down. One was a plumbing problem that was taken care of by Andy's plumber. The other was an electrical problem that required finding an electrician to fix it. Neither problem could have been anticipated, and both were fixed with minimal additional cost.

GOOD COMMUNICATION THROUGH EMAIL ON BID NUMBERS AND ANSWERS TO FURTHER QUESTIONS. VERY REASONABLE PRICE (LABOR ONLY; HE ORDERED TILE AND I PAID FOR THAT SEPARATELY). PERSONABLE. LOVED THE ACCENT. PLEASED WITH BOTH BACKSPLASHES. MY ONLY RESERVATION IS THAT OTHER TILE PURVEYORS TOLD ME THAT I NEEDED TO SEAL MY TILE FLOORS AND THE BACKSPLASHES, ESPECIALLY, THOUGH NOT ONLY, THE GROUT. MR. MCCABE DOES NOT SEEM TO BE VERY BIG ON SEALING TILE. HE WASN'T EVEN GOING TO DO THE KITCHEN BACKSPLASH UNTIL I MADE A POINT OF ASKING AND THEN SOMETHING I WOULD HAVE CONSIDERED PART OF THE ORIGINAL BID HE CHARGED EXTRA FOR. ALSO, HE DIDN'T GIVE ME MUCH NOTICE ON SCHEDULING THE WORK, LESS THAN 24 HOURS. SINCE THIS WAS A LITTLE JOB, HE WAS JUST SQUEEZING ME INTO HIS SCHEDULE.

ANDREW WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND METICULOUS AND THE TILE WORK IS BEAUTIFUL.

WE TRADED MESSAGES SEVERAL TIMES AND FINALLY TALKED SEVERAL DAYS AFTER MY FIRST CALL TO HIM. HE AGREED TO STOP BY TO SEE THE FLOOR AND GIVE ME AN ESTIMATE. HE NEVER CALLED OR STOPPED BY AND THAT WAS OVER THREE WEEKS AGO.

THE OWNER AND HELPER WERE ALWAYS ON TIME, POLITE AND CLEANED UP ALL DEBRIS. THEY DID REQUEST TO TILE A WHOLE WALL RATHER THAN PARTIAL WHEN THEY DISCOVERED THAT THE WALL WAS UNEVEN AND THE FINISHED JOB WOULD NOT LOOK NICE IF THEY DID NOT. I AGREED AND THE FINISHED JOB LOOKS VERY PROFESSIONAL.

ANDREW IS GREAT TO WORK WITH, HE'S VERY NICE AND PERSONABLE, WITH A GREAT ATTITUDE. ALL THIS PLUS A PERFECTIONIST! HIS PRICES, I FELT, WERE QUITE REASONABLE. HE WILL ALSO HELP YOU IF YOU HAVE TROUBLE ORDERING THE TILE YOU WANT. HIS WORK IS FANTASTIC! HE IS VERY THOROUGH AND AFTER SEEING HOW GOOD HE IS I PLAN TO HIRE HIM AGAIN FOR OTHER PROJECTS THAT I WASN'T SURE WHETHER OR NOT I WANTED TILED NOW I DEFINITELY DO! I'VE ALREADY RECEIVED A LOT OF COMPLIMENTS ON HIS WORK.

AMAZING JOB! ANDREW WAS GREAT - PROMPT, EFFICIENT AND METICULOUS! THE BATHROOM LOOKS FABULOUS! WE WILL RECOMMEND HIM TO EVERYONE AND DEFINITELY USE HIM THE NEXT TIME WE NEED TILE WORK!!!

WE COULDN'T BE MORE PLEASED. EVERYTHING FROM ANDREW'S RESPONSIVENESS TO OUR BID INQUIRY TO THE COMPLETION/CLEANUP OF THE JOB SITE WAS FIRST RATE. WE'VE WORKED WITH TWO OTHER TILERS IN THE PAST AND THIS EXPERIENCE WAS, BY FAR, THE BEST.

MY IMPRESSION WAS THAT THE PERSON WAS SKILLED IN THE WORK. I WOULD HAVE APPRECIATED A CALL OR SOME FORM OF COMMUNICATION IF FOR SOME REASON THE JOB WAS NOT APPLICABLE OR IF IT WAS DEEMED TOO ''SMALL'' FOR THIS BUSINESS.

ANDY CAME OUT TO MAKE AN INITIAL ASSESSMENT AND TO PROVIDE AN ESTIMATE OF REPAIR COSTS. HIS ESTIMATE WAS PERFECTLY ACCURATE, AND HE RETURNED LATER TO PERFORM THE WORK. AS THE RATINGS SHOW, HE WAS RESPONSIVE, VERY PROFESSIONAL AND DID A GREAT JOB. ON TOP OF THAT, HE''S A VERY NICE GUY.

WE ARE VERY PLEASED WITH THE WORK AND THE RESULT. DUG A FULL 48 INCHES FOR THE FOOTING (2 FEET DEEPER THAN COMPETITIVE BID). WAS ABLE TO MATCH OUR OLD CHICAGO BRICK WHICH OTHERS CLAIMED THEY WERE UNABLE TO DO. BID WAS STILL THE LOWER THAN THE COMPETITION. ANDY IS VERY PLEASANT AND EAGER TO MAKE OUR VISION A REALITY. HOPE TO HAVE THIS COMPANY INSTALL INTERIOR TILE IN THE FUTURE.
