It was an absolute pleasure to have Mark fix our electrical problem. He is a very friendly, professional man and very knowledgeable about all things electric! He worked quickly and explained what he was doing as he searched for the source of the problem. He even took the time to educate me on potential problems and how to fix them in the future. He is easy to talk to, his fees are reasonable and he is very trustworthy. I was especially impressed that he was able to fit me in the morning after I called him when several other companies were booked weeks out (which is a long time to wait with no lights in the master bedroom). I would certainly hire Marko Electrical Services in the future and would recommend them to all of my friends and family. Thank you!

I've used Marko Electric for this major kitchen remodel as well as other electrical installations over the years. Mark and Rick are professionals all the way. Punctual, efficient, clean, and available for emergencies. Wire courses through the walls are never haphazard. The wires run in nice straight parallels with tidy turns and bends. You can tell they take pride in their work, even areas that will forever be covered by drywall. I've also used Marko for all of my small business electrical needs which are substantial. They're comfortable with 440V systems, controllers and even fix motors. I've recommended them to friends who have used them on multiple repeat occasions. You can't do better than Marko.

Easy to get ahold of and always showed up when he said he would. Work all looks great and did everything he said he would. I would not hesitate to call again or to recommend to others.

A plug and electrical cord on our chest freezer caused a short which shut down outlets and ceiling lights in three rooms and the garage. John Marko provided a same day response, arrived in good time, and provided excellent service. We enjoyed working with him.

I called last week and explained to Mark the project in much detail about a bathroom fan we needed replaced. He said he would do it the following week. We set up a time and day the following week but he did not show, but instead was at a different project. My husband stayed home from work for this! Have to give Mark credit for talking to me and apologizing saying "I forgot to write in the appointment" but I did not feel Mark was completely sincere or honest. Pure speculation on my part, and if I am wrong "I am sorry Mark" and apologize too, cause I am also only human as well. Of course we all makes mistakes only I was hoping for better professionalism on Angie's List ( A + recommendation); plus, I am a first time new member to Angie's list and obviously... sad and disappointed in Mark cause you are an electrician from my own home town :-(

I contacted Mark Jyrkas, of Marko Electric Services, through his web site, to which I went after reviewing the listing at Angie's List. Mark called me back within a few hours and we discussed what I needed. I wasn't sure how much work would be needed, so we scheduled a time for him or some one on his team to stop by and provide a free quote. On the appointed day, a member of this team (sorry, I don't remember his name) arrived and I explained that I was replacing a millivolt pool heater with a pool heater with an electronic ignition and wasn't sure if there was enough power available. The electrician was able to quickly determine that there was sufficient power since the new gas heater would draw very little electrical power. He quoted $100 to connect power to the pool heater and install an on/off (light) switch for the heater. I was very happy with the free quote, the quality of the work, the courtesy, and the price. I was especially happy about the price as I found it very reasonable and it didn't include a separate trip charge. I'll definitely call Marko Electrical Services Inc for any future electrical work I need. (They do both residential and commercial electrical work.)

I contacted Marko Electrical Services before Memorial Day for my A/C needed to be re-wired and he came out that same day I called to look over what was needed and gave my brother a quote on time and dollars. I had additional questions since I was not at the meeting for the quote and sent an email via their website and promptly received an answer the next day. I scheduled my appointment for getting the work done on 6/6 at 8am and on that day he was there at 8am. What was going to be done was completely explained so I was put at ease for having the work done. I even asked before he started if another task I had outstanding was something for an electician or just a handy man--I have a chain light to replace in my stairwell and wanted to asked that question since he was there. After the work was done in the 4 hours he mentioned it would take and the quote was from $200-$300 and it was $250.00 and my A/C worked immediately and the way the conduit went was perfect. Now we are already working on planning the next thing for getting my light replaced scheduled. I have put Marko Electrical Services in my listing for my home contacts for vendors to use in the future.

The project went very well. Mark was adaptable to my schedule and completed everything on the quote, in addition to some extras that I asked for. For my emergency generator, Mark made a long cord for me with the proper plugs on each end, and we went through a simulated power outage, powering up the generator, and successfully running the various circuits; well pump, refrigerator, etc. Everything worked properly, and passed inspection without any issues.

My daughter said that her hairdryer would shut off when she used it in her bathroom but not in any other room. I suspected that the GFCI outlet on that circuit was malfunctioning. I called Marko Electrical and happpened to catch him just as he was finishing a job nearby. Mark arrived about 45 minutes after the call. He replaced the GFCI. Hair dryer and curling iron now work fine when used in the bathroom.

I noticed a burnt smell coming from the shop area. I called Marco in the morning and they came out around 4;00PM. He checked out the breaker and showed me how it had gotten too hot. He replaced it and checked out some outlets that were not working. After checking it out he said they were wired incorrectly and should be on another breaker to balance the amps. He completed that and was done shortly after 5PM. I felt they responded quick and did not claim there was more work needed other than my request. There price was very reasonable.

Several outlets in the basement went out. They carried a heavy load (we found out). He was able to repair the problem with minimal disruption to the room.

Overall the job went very well. I have no complaints and would use Mark again in the future.

He came out the same day. He was very nice. He explained the problem and the remedy. Everything is working great.

Mark arrived when scheduled and gave us several options for the hook-up. He did the job professionally and to our satisfaction. Mark is very knowledgeable and understands the homeowners issues. I've had Mark before and would highly recommend him to anyone for electrical work because of his professionalism, knowledge and integrity. For any future electrical issues I will use Marko Electric

Never got the chance for Marko to show their abilities and they never returned the call. Too many other fish in the sea, to keep calling someone who obviously does not need our business or has the courtesy to return a msg.

I called about noon and Rick stopped out later that day to inspect the problem I had with a smell of burnt plastic coming from my breaker box . He made the diagnosis but did not have all the parts needed to make the necessary repairs. He was willing to run out to get the parts that day but I was not in a hurry and said he could return another day with the parts. Once he had the parts he called to confirm a time for completing the work. Once here Rick installed the breakers and rewired an outlet that had been incorrectly wired.

When I called Marko Electrical Services, I got an immediate response. Mark gave me a time when he could stop by and arrived at that time. The source of my electrical problems were difficult to pin point but Mark methodically traced and tested the circuts until he identified and corrected the problem. Something that I and some other amateur electricians could not and would not have been able to figure out on our own. Mark did a great job at a reasonable cost for the time and effort that he put in. I would highly recommend him to anybody.

Mark was pleasant and professional. He returned calls promptly and understood when we had to reschedule. We would use his services again and recommend him to neighbors.

Great work. We feel confident in knowing he stands behind what he does. He was on time and got the job done.

We needed an outlet installed for a stair lift. We contacted Marko Electric and Mark came out to do the work. He was very professional and did the installation in a reasonable amount of time. Because of the way our existing wiring was set up, he also suggested and added another outlet in our garage. He cleaned up after he was done and made sure we were happy with the results. We plan to have him out again to do some other work.

I received a call back immediately after I contacted the electrician. He came over promptly and estimated the cost of the work to be under $400.00. The job was finished very professionally and promptly. The cost was well under $400.00 (approximately $235.00). The sconces look beautiful and I am extremely grateful! I would highly recommend this company to anyone.

It was a kind of neutral interaction overall. I?m not sure if I would consider using them in the future.
