It went fairly well, however, communication is not Harlow's strong point. The work was completed more or less satisfactorily, but there were two minor outstanding items that I decided were not worth the hassle to get Harlow to resolve: 1) He drywalled over a ceiling light junction box and never managed to get it fixed even after three phone calls. 2) He did not remove his debris. (He did not specify in the proposal that he *would* remove it, but when asked later, he said he would come and pick the large stuff up. He never did. Except for those items the work was of top quality; he was able to fit me in his schedule quickly; and the price was good.

Harlow and his crew were wonderful! Quick to respond and quick to schedule the work. Some of the walls had been gutted down to studs, others still had the old lathe. They did an excellent job. All seams were perfectly smooth and corners were sharply square, especially where the ceiling meets the wall. They patched large areas in the old plaster on one small existing wall, and the patched sections are virtually invisible. Drywall dust did get into other rooms when they sanded. They even came back after the job was finished at my request to pick up some stray, large pieces of drywall that they had left behind. Totally professional and friendly crew that does high quality work!
Description of Work: Complete drywall, taping, mudding and sanding of entire kitchen (walls and ceiling) that had been gutted. Many holes had to be precisely cut around recessed lights and electrical outlets. One small wall needed the old plaster repaired. Ceiling was textured with an orange peel finish to mimic the plaster ceilings throughout the rest of the circa 1920's house.

MR. LUNDER DID A VERY PROFESSIONAL JOB, WALLS ARE SMOOTH AND VIRTUALLY BLEMISH FREE. MR. LUNDER FIT US IN HIS BUSY SCHEDULE FOR THIS RELATIVELY SMALL JOB, WAS POLITE, HONORABLE AND HIS PRICES WERE MUCH LOWER THAN WE EXPECTED GIVEN THE EXTENT OF REPAIR REQUIRED TO MAKE THE ATTIC CEILINGS AND WALLS LOOK GOOD.
Description of Work: MUDDING, TAPING AND REPAIR OF POORLY HUNG DRYWALL IN ATTIC CONVERSION. (ORIGINAL DRYWALL CONTRACTOR DID VERY POOR JOB WITH DRYWALL.)
