Scott is one of the most hardworking, friendly, honest and accommodating people I have the pleasure of knowing. He returns phone calls quickly; he shows up for jobs promptly and stays until they are finished. He never hesitates to change something if it is not to your liking (for eg., the height of a hedge). He is always polite and has a smile. He passes this work ethic on to his crew as well. Although not many people know this, Scott is a Master Landscaper and has a Master's Degree in Horticulture. He knows everything about plant materials, trees, pruning, and is an expert in the art of Japanese Bonzai trees/shrubs. Before moving to Minnesota he was a master gardener for one of the world's finest Japanese Gardens located in Portland Oregon. Scott does not work any harder for me because I am a regular customer. He has been this way since day one. This is just his nature. He really is a treasure and anyone would be lucky to have him for any landscaping job.

We needed some work completed to prepare our backyard for a graduation party next spring. I called Scott and he showed up the same day to review the project. Scott and his crew were great. Scott was very responsive to our requests and created a very nice landscaped area in our backyard. He has an eye to visualize a plan and offered suggestions when we needed them. He and his crew worked very hard and completed the job in 1.5 days and held to our budget. We are very happy with how things turned out and will be calling Scott this Spring to add some finishing touches to the yard.

Scott was very responsive and his estimate was right on. He and his small crew got started right away and did a great job. However the The company delivering the mulch dropped the truck bed off the trailer, knocking over a lamp and damaging a shrub but otherwise not doing much damage. Overall Scott was very easy to work with. I'm having him come back to help out this summer.

In the space of 2 days, he cut down and removed a 10-foot burning bush and 4 taxus bushes, including stumps. He created a new landscaped area, including a flagstone footpath, perennials, etc, and mulched the space. The final product is beautiful, and we're very happy with his work. He has great design sense.

He has a degree from the U. of Minnesota in landscape architecture. I saw some bushes in a neighbor's yard and gave him the address and described them to him. He's going to go buy three of them and plant them for me. He's wonderful to work with, a gem. I would recommend him for any kind of landscaping work. He also does snow removal in the winter.
