Description of Work: LIghthouse Moving moved my mom from her townhouse to a 2-BR Assisted Living unit. They were professional, careful, methodical, and personable. Later I asked John Hathaway about an item that we thought we were missing. He searched his truck on a 100-degree afternoon, only to have me find it later. John was very easy to work with and was able to meet our short schedule. I would recommend them to others.

Description of Work: Lighthouse Moving did a fantastic job from start to finish! I purchased the service online through an Angie's List special and the owner of Lighthouse Moving contacted me within 24 hours of the purchase. I needed movers quickly and the owner was able to schedule me in within two days! A team of two movers arrived on time and worked extremely hard throughout the day. They were very careful with my belongings and respectful of my former house as well as new house. I highly recommend Lighthouse Moving and would definitely hire them again!

Description of Work: Lighthouse moved a studio apartment in St. Paul to another apartment on a 3rd floor two miles away. They had another job in the morning, but agreed to come asap because I really needed to make the move on short notice. The owner, John, called me to say the first job was taking longer but he called in another crew who arrived 15 minutes later. They were very fast, polite, and efficient. They even helped removed a window air conditioner. I bought an Angie's deal for $369, but it would have cost less if I had just gone through the owner because it only took a little over an hour for the whole move. Truth is, I would do it again for that price because it was so easy and painless. The owner is a great guy too, very personable and knowledgeable of the area.

Description of Work: My son used this company when he moved from an apartment to a room in a big old-fashioned house with lots of staircases in Minneapolis. I am not positive about the date or the cost, but I remember him saying how impressed he was with them! They were very efficient & careful with my son's belongings, & troopers about all of the stairs! Very professional!

His rates seemed very reasonable, especially taking into consideration the charges he would pay the public dump for items like TVs, computers, and beds. He was very careful about not damaging walls or the furniture that was moved within my home. I would definitely use John again for this kind of work.
Description of Work: I needed to have several items of furniture hauled away and also to have several large items moved within my home, all in preparation for a major remodeling project. This required two separate visits, one that John Hathaway did alone and the other with an assistant.
