They've been doing it practically since, 20-plus years. I'm set up with them on a contract. They come out 4 times a year. They just come out and do their business. If we have any questions we can talk to them. It's kind of nice. We don't have to worry. One person comes out to complete the service. They are pretty good. Especially with the mouse problems. We kind of live on an old farm-field.

The tech laid bait and plugged a few gaps in foundation. He said to give the treatment three weeks to work. After three weeks, and later, too, no new evidence of mice.

Craig quickly identified our problems and advised us on how to deal with the beetle problem and he killed the bee pests quickly through use of a spray duster.

Greg was punctual, friendly and, best of all, extremely knowledgable. I was so impressed with the service Greg provided that I signed up for Laughlin's annual program.

Great! The tech explained what was probably happening with the ants and removed the wasp nests. He treated for the ants. We signed up for the annual service.

The rep was prompt, professional and knowledgeable. He listened when we explained our problem and responded honestly when we asked about trapping vs. poison and was receptive to our concerns about both methods. He really helped us make a decision we were comfortable with. We signed up for the maintenance plan because we were so impressed with the service; it has gone so smoothly, I can't believe it. This year, we noticed anthills in our lawn and a nest (squirrels) in our shed. The night before the scheduled maintenance, I left a voicemail asking if they'd take a look at the anthills and dispose of the nest (only if the squirrels were gone - which we made sure of) and leave the crate. Wasn't sure a voicemail would get that all done, but sure enough, we came home to find that they'd treated both the ants and gotten rid of the nest and left the crate. They have exemplary customer service skills and do a great job. Pricing is very fair for the service we get. Would highly recommend.

Company responded promptly to my call. Workman was polite and professional yet friendly. Did a thorough inspection and reported no signs of pests or infestation. Had a detailed discussion with me on prevention. Was realistic about the age of my house and what I could do to prevent pests.

The tech is always helpful. He is willing to return if there are any problems. Laughlin's has always exceeded my expectations for professional work at a reasonable price.

Called them in the morning and they were out that afternoon. The technician, Jeff, was very informative and did a thorough walk around. He suggested treatment options and was efficient and methodical in applying the treatment. He also suggested their 4 time a year treatment option to prevent future issues.

Bryan is really good. They never charge me any extra to get into areas I ask them about. They also call before they come, which I like. They had to do a dry application due to the snow/wet weather back in April, and they came back out to do the spray later on to make sure the job was done right - and didn't charge me! It's obvious they are very customer oriented.

They are on-time and effective. They know what they are doing.

This company was very prompt in returning phone calls and coming out on a very timely manner. The person who came to check the situation was extremely pleasant, thorough, and answered all questions that I had.They are currently working on extracting bats and sealing the areas where the bats love to nest. I would highly recommend this company.

I had them for four years. They come out for me four times a year. I am very happy with them. If we have bats in the attic of our garage, they send somebody. I am just happy with them. They are good with their service. If there is something wrong, they come right away and take care of things. They are just great! Even my mother-in-law used them and they were good.

We needed an evaluation regarding critters in our attic. The rep came within the time scheduled, told us what he thought the problem was and gave us several options and the costs. In our case, it involves waiting until spring to set up bat exclusion. Overall, we were very satisfied and will have them out in the spring. The money spent will be applied towards the service at that time.

Excellent Service! I emailed them on a Tuesday evening, received a call the next day and scheduled an appointment for that Friday. Greg arrived right on time and walked me through what he was going to do and what he was going to look for. I had been having mice problems for the first time in the 12 1/2 years that I have lived in this house. He put bait out in the house (away from prying cats and kids) and then walked around the house and sealed cracks and holes. He found the hole where the mice were getting in and made sure it was sealed. Apparently when I had a new A/C installed earlier this year, the installers caulked the top and sides of the area where the wires come into the house, but missed the bottom. Greg said there were obvious signs that mice were using it as an entry point into the basement. He also filled up some other areas and told me that it would take a couple of weeks before those already in the house were eliminated. All over in less than an hour. I signed up for the quarterly service to keep the insects out as well. I would highly recommend these guys!!

I had a wasp nest behind the siding. Wasps had found their way into the house. Hardware store wasp sprays were ineffective due to recessed location of nest. After calling Laughlin's, Jeff came out the same day and sprayed powder into the nest opening. Wasps were no longer exiting or entering the nest, but a few survivors in the wall were still getting into the house. I called a week later to request a follow-up and Jeff again showed up promptly. He used a power applicator this time and I never saw another wasp indoors or out. Follow-up service was at no additional charge. The initial charge made me flinch, but in retrospect these guys have to be licensed pesticide applicators and they are knowledgeable and effective. I recommend them.

I discovered a wasp's nest on a 2nd storey window yesterday afternoon. Since I'm allergic to bee stings, speedy removal was REALLY important.I called Laughlin's based on their review here on Angie's List.The dispatcher understood the urgency and was able to schedule a service call for first thing this morning.The technician arrived exactly on time, was courteous, personable and knowledgeable.The removal was completed quickly and professionally.

As requested, I got a call around 8:10, saying they were on the way and would arrive in about 10 minutes. The service guy (I'm bad with names, he said either Greg or Jeff; I'll call him Greg) arrived as he said he would. I explained that we had this old garbage burner in the basement, and there was a heavy metal door on it, and the day before we had heard the screeching strange sounds coming from inside. We feared bats or something else trapped inside. We thought the flue was sealed off so don't know how something had fallen inside. Greg came downstairs with me, tapped on the metal door a couple of times, and ta da! Screech screech! Greg smiled and said "Chimney swifts." Well, how about that. We have a bird nest inside our chimney. I had recently read that swifts were having a more and more difficult time reproducing because people didn't have chimneys anymore due to technological changes in home heating. And, in fact, Greg said even if I wanted the nest removed, he would be unable to do it because the bird is federally protected. That was fine with me as I am pleased that we are helping maintain an endangered bird species, and I'm just glad it's not something icky or dying stuck inside. He even opened up the door, and with the help of his flashlight, we could see the nest! I have attached a photo, (not very good, but you can see the bundle of feathers and the nest). What next?

I found out about them because they were in my neighborhood. We paid $175 for them to come out to handle the ants that we had.. We just paid a little bit more to sign up for them to come out 4 times a year. They are excellent.

Great. Very responsive, polite, and professional.

The service went very well. Laughlin's explained that while they charge a bit more up-front than some other companies, they do not charge per squirrel caught (several other companies we searched charged a service fee, plus a fee for each animal trapped). Laughlin's ended up catching 12 squirrels, so we were pleased about not having to pay a fee for each one (!). The technician who came to our home inspected our entire roof and pointed out 2 potential spots that could be problematic for squirrel entry in the future (and suggested that we could take extra precautions now on our own to patch these potential holes before animals get inside). He set 2 live traps near the hole to where the squirrels had gotten inside the roof and said that we would likely catch squirrels right away (we did - about 30 minutes after he left). The company provided us with a number to call when we had a squirrel in the live trap(s). We called, left our name & addres, and someone came out to pick up the squirrel or squirrels within 24 hours. Over the course of about 10 days, we caught 12 squirrels. Each time a tech. stopped by to pick up a squirrel and set a clean trap, a note was left on our door to let us know they had been by. We did notice that towards the end of the process, they stopped leaving notes on the door. Otherwise, they were good about communicating their service and how the process would work. About 1 week in to the process, the tech. explained that they would keep catching the squirrels, but also do a paper test to determine if more squirrels were trying to get back into the roof. Once it was determined that no animals were trying to get back in the roof, they sealed the hole.

They inspected all of our house, as well as put two animal/pet safe traps. They were thorough, prompt, and recommended them to our friends.
