They were responsive and timely. They did an excellent job!

Gave up to 5+ weeks after our estimate meeting; we have yet to receive an estimate! Very disappointed, as Kelly came highly recommended by our kitchen designer and neighbors. We called mid-March; Barb (scheduler) was very nice, but said it would be 3 wks. before Phil (plumber) could do our estimate (turned out he was on vacation). The delay was OK since we were just starting our process. Phil arrived on time for the estimate appt., was personable and knowledgeable. He thoroughly reviewed the work components and said he'd send us a bid by the week's end. Week passed, no bid. Called Barb who apologized and said she'd follow up. Another two weeks, still no bid. Called Barb again, sensed she too was frustrated and that other clients were also having the, "Where's the bid?" issue. Last call, gave a final deadline which came and went without a bid. We'd prefer to support a local business but as Kelly didn't give us an estimate despite our repeated requests we chose to take our business elsewhere.

Phil came in and proceeded to tell us all of things that were wrong with our house. While he spent over an hour here criticizing the construction, he never submitted a bid for the job. We think he knew he had offended us. Our house (over $500,000) was built 11 years ago by a quality builder and inspected by local inspectors. We still understand why he approached this job this way. We went with another Angie's list plumber with no problems.

It went very well. I called the company and they had time for me that very day. The problem was taken care of, however, to fix the problem the water main had to be turned off and upon turning it back on there were new problems with water pressure in the very same shower head that had not been there previously. The same individual, Al, came over as soon as the new problem was noticed, diagnosed the problem, and took care of the problem, making suggestions for long term resolution that I might like to think about at a future date. No pressure! Very courteous! Prompt! A very good experience.

When Al discovered a leak, he recommended that I just fix the leak, which would require 20 minutes. He could have done what I requested, and had to open up the cement floor, etc. He said this would not be money well spent at this time.

I've used Kelly before. I don't have to worry that the work will be done properly. The plumber was prompt, worked efficiently, and did a nice, clean job.

They were on time. It was for the quoted price. They cleaned up. They were very honest and fair. I called them because of low water pressure. The owner came over and said that it would not be helped by changing of the pipes which I was told from another company. He suggested I call the utility company to increase the pipe from the street to the house. I was very grateful for his honesty.

This is one of those ''gem'' companies. I haven't had many of those in my time in this house, but they definitely are!! They came quickly, are a small business, were responsive, and helpful. Gave me a great referral for another company for drain cleaning. I can't say enough good things about this company.

Very experienced, knowledgeable, and punctual. They are very knowledgeable about older homes and have never disappointed me. I would highly recommend this company to others.

Excellent. They told us up front that we would save money to buy our own sump pump (which we had done) and were prompt, fair and timely.

Joe was punctual, polite, and friendly. He cut a 1 foot x 1 foot hole in the hallway wall to replace the shower valve. Shower water pressure was awesome afterwards. While here, he also worked on sink faucet which had poor flow. In the end, charge was for 3 hours plus parts (copper tubing). Cleanup was decent. Joe recommended another contractor for drywall patching which we used ($100).

Mr. Phillip Skoog came to my home for an estimate on some plumbing work. After evaluating the job, he promised to submit a bid by mail within a week. I waited two weeks with no response. I called Kelly Plumbing and talked to a representative; she promised she would have the owner, Mr. Phillip Skoog, call me - but he never called back or notified me in any way. I consider this very rude and unprofessional behavior and would recommend not using this plumbing contractor.

WE CALLED KELLY PLUMBING AND MADE AN APPOINTMENT ON MONDAY OCTOBER 17 FOR WEDNESDAY MORNING AT 9 A.M. HE WAS RIGHT ON TIME, VERY FRIENDLY AND WENT RIGHT TO WORK. IT TOOK HIM ABOUT AN HOUR TO FIX THE PROBLEM AMD WE WERE VERY SATISFIED WITH THE WORK DONE AND THE PRICE. WE WOULD USE THEIR SERVICE AGAIN IF THE NEED AROSE.

POSITIVE EXPERIENCE. THE QUALITY OF THE WORK WAS EXCELLENT AND THEY GAVE ME ALL THE INFORMATION I NEEDED TO MAKE A DECISION ON WHICH WAY TO PROCEED.

THEY ARE VERY BUSY, SO I HAD TO WAIT AWHILE (A WEEK) FOR THEM TO COME OUT, BUT IT WAS WORTH IT. THEY WERE EXTREMELY PROFESSIONAL IN EVERY WAY, RETURNED CALLS PROMPTLY, CAME WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD, FIXED MY PROBLEM QUICKLY AND LEFT NO MESS. REALLY VERY NICE PEOPLE.

PLUMBER TRIED SEVERAL LOW/NO COST SOLUTIONS FIRST BEFORE HE AND I DECIDED TO TAKE THE TIME AND SPEND THE MONEY TO REBUILD THE TOILET. HE WAS COURTEOUS, ON TIME. I WAS VERY IMPRESSED.

EXPERIENCE WAS GREAT, ON TIME, FAIR PRICE AND GOOD ADVICE ABOUT REPLACING THE TOILET AS BEING MORE COST-EFFECTIVE THAN REPAIR, SO DID A MODERATE FIX SO THAT IT WORKS FOR NOW.

I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH THE WORK DONE.

A HOLE HAD TO BE CUT IN THE BEDROOM WALL TO ACCESS THE PIPES AND DRAIN. THE HOLE SIZE WAS KEPT TO A MINIMUM. MIKE DID THE WORK AND HE SHOWED UP RIGHT ON TIME AND WORKED DILIGENTLY ALL DAY. MARK SHOWED UP IN THE AFTERNOON TO HELP. BOTH MEN WERE VERY FRIENDLY. MIKE EXPLAINED WHAT HE WAS DOING AND WHY. THEY DID A GREAT JOB CLEANING UP. I WOULD DEFINITELY HIRE THEM AGAIN.

KELLY PLUMBING RETURNED MY PHONE CALL ONLY A FEW HOURS AFTER I CALLED. PHIL AND JOE STARTED WORKING ON THE PROBLEM IN THE MORNING OF THE NEXT DAY, FOR ABOUT ALL DAY (PHIL WAS GONE FOR PART OF THE TIME). AFTER TRYING TO LOCATE THE SOURCE OF THE LEAKAGE, THEY REPLACED PARTS OF THE WASTE PIPE JUST OUTSIDE OF THE TUB, BUT WHEN THERE WAS STILL LEAKAGE THEY HAD TO CUT A HOLE IN THE BATHROOM WALL TO TAKE A LOOK AT THE PIPING BEHIND, AND HAD TO REPLACE A PIPE THERE TOO. THEY HAD TO WORK FROM THE KITCHEN TO DO THIS, CUTTING A HOLE IN THE KITCHEN CEILING. IN THE END IT WAS ALL FIXED AND THE LEAKAGE WAS STOPPED. PHIL AND JOE WERE ALWAYS ON TIME, FRIENDLY AND POLITE, AND REALLY SEEMED TO KNOW WHAT THEY WERE DOING. THEY STAYED WELL WITHIN THEIR ESTIMATE WITH THE FINAL PRICE. THEY EXPLAINED THE CONDITION OF OUR PLUMBING TO US, AND THAT BIG PARTS OF IT WILL HAVE TO BE REPLACED IN THE NEAR FUTURE TO REALLY FIX THE PROBLEM FOR THE LONG TERM, BUT DIDN'T ABUSE THE FACT THAT WE NEEDED HELP QUICKLY BY TRYI

WE CALLED WITH A FRIDAY EVENING EMERGENCY AND THE OWNER RESPONDED AND TEMPORARILY FIXED THE PROBLEM. HE WAS HONEST AND UP-FRONT ABOUT ANALYZING OUR OLDER HOMES PLUMBING NEEDS AND ONLY RECOMMENDED ESSENTIAL REPAIRS. HIS PLUMBER WAS GREAT. HE TRIED MANY OPTIONS TO SOLVE OUR SHOWER PROBLEM.

WHEN I CALLED A YEAR OR SO AGO THEY WEREN''T TAKING NEW CUSTOMERS. THIS TIME THAT WAS THE FIRST QUESTION I ASKED AND I MENTIONED THAT THEY HAD DONE WORK ON THE HOUSE FOR THE PREVIOUS OWNER. BASED ON THIS EXPERIENCE, THEY ARE TERRIFIC. AND, COMPARED TO THE FOLKS WHO ENDED UP DOING THE WORK FOR US A YEAR OR SO AGO, THEY ARE *REALLY* TERRIFIC! SO, IF YOU ARE PLANNING SOMETHING (AS OPPOSED TO AN EMERGENCY) IT WOULD BE WORTH CALLING WELL IN ADVANCE AND GETTING ON THEIR RADAR.
