Couldn’t be more displeased. He walked off the job after a month, breaking his contract. He refused to give us itemized receipts for the work completed and materials. He yelled at my partner and treated her as if she were stupid. He’s a misogynist and a dishonest person. Please don’t hire him

I have worked with him since 2003. In 2003, he oversaw painting, building a bookshelf, and kitchen work. Last year, he remodeled my kitchen. He is extremely reliable and very honest. He delivers what he says he's going to deliver and then some. If something goes wrong, he works to make it go right. He leaves everything clean and tidy. He protects other areas of the house very well.

Khal responded to my call promptly and did an expert job getting everything in place to more properly secure my garage. Previously, the original "non-standard" service door did not allow for easy access, so 95% of the time, I got into the garage by using the electric door opener which was less convenient, plus the old service door was much less secure (it had only been secured by a padlock before). I was very pleased with Khal's work and trust his advice and judgment. The total cost came in under his original estimate--a pleasant bonus along with his excellent work. I had worked with Khal previously through a condominium association (my previous home), so I knew he was "the one to call" based on my previous experience. This was the first time I had the opportunity to hire him personally at my single family home, and was just as pleased with his work now as I was back then.
