Responded quickly to my request for a replacement of my outside faucets Note: 2 hour plumbing special

I called Jim about looking at some plumbing in my house was told he would be at my place between 12:00-2:00. I took off work to be at my house. Waited till 2:30 he did not come. I called him at around 1:30 got his answering machine. Had to get back to work left house at 2:30. I lost 1 hr of work this week as it was holiday week and I was not able to make up lost time.

GREAT! He was very considerate. I called at about 4:57 PM (they close at 5:00) and asked for a guestimate of how much it would cost to replace our broken garbage disposal. He said it would be about $300. I asked when he could do it, hoping for a date before Thanksgiving. He said either Tuesday or Friday of next week. And then he offered to do it immediately. I accepted and the job was completed by 6:30 the same day. I know I was extremely fortunate that he was able to schedule it so fast and I don't expect this speedy scheduling in the future. But, I sure was happy he was able to pull it off tonight! Thank you very much Jim!

The Big Deal expired, but I tried to contact the company to use the dollar amount toward plumbing work. After leaving messages for several weeks (which haven't been answered), I have given up and am requesting a refund. Thanks.

I tried contacting him starting in June to schedule work, but he has been completely unresponsive. I called multiple times and left four messages and still never heard from him. My deal had expired, but he should have still honored the face value I paid for the deal. However, I haven't been able to get in contact with him.

Made an assessment on one day and appeared when promised later on another day. Very efficient, professional, competent, etc. Had the right tools, equipment, knowledge, and skills. Did a good job and communicated well. After meeting him I did not pursue estimates from other plumbers. I am very satisfied.

We called Jim and he was able to come within 24 hours. He was friendly and knowledgable. He said our clog was about 40 feet from the sink, which was quite a distance. He did the work in an efficient and clean manner, and gave us advice on how to prevent getting a clog in the future.

Jim came to install an ignitor on a GE water heater. GE's customer service line had determined that the new part was needed. Once the part was installed the water heater was still not working. Jim then figured out the issue and requested the additional part be sent. He came back the next day to install the part and got it working very quickly. He was very responsive (2 visits in 2 days) and guided us through draining the heater to save time and labor cost. I would highly recommend him for any and all plumbing needs. He will be who we call for anything plumbing related from now on.

Jim was very responsive and was able and willing to assist with a last minute job on incredibly short notice (same afternoon). Jim will be the first person we think of for any future plumbing jobs and would highly recommend him to others.

Jim returned my call right away, was able to assess the situation the same day as my call and do the repair the very next day. He was prompt, thorough and kept the space clean. We're very happy with how well the job went.

Went Great!!! Jim was on time for our appointment. He took great care to protect my carpeting, etc. by putting down tarps from the front door to the bathroom. I was amazed at how quickly he was able to complete the job. When he left there were no signs that a major plumbing had been done. The new toilet works really good and there have been zero problems with Jim's work. I'd highly recommend him.

They installed a water line for the fridge. There were extra costs involved for parts. They did a good job. I was disappointed that I did not get the full two hours of labor. There was an additional leak that I wanted him to look at, but he said it would take more than the allotted time to work on it and he wouldn't be able to do it that day.

Jim came to advise us after we purchased the house to estimate what it would take to plumb the kitchen and two bathrooms. He told us how he would run vent pipes to ensure safety and legal issues were addressed. The house was vacant, and he did some of the infrastructure work early in the project and came back a couple of months later to do the final work. We have worked with Jim before, and appreciate his honest assessment of alternatives including cost. He does good work, and we have always passed all of our inspections. Jim is versatile and can work with high-end surfaces and dig into the dirt below the basement floor if necessary. He's an ethical and honest person, and we feel we get great value for our investment.

It went great. This was the third house Jim worked on for us--he joined us after we purchased the property to scope out and plan where the plumbing needed to go. When we got the walls open, he ran all the lines and drains, then came back at the end of the project to install the fixtures and appliances. Jim is a pleasure to work with--he's flexible and always tries to do what we want, even when it is difficult for him, like small spaces. One quality we really like about him is that he listens, then works with us to do what we need instead of what we ask for--his expertise is welcome, and he's focused on collaborative solutions . He works closely with inspectors as he goes along to ensure there will be no rework, and we always pass our inspections easily. Jim is honest and an authentic and good man. We're lucky to have him on our team.

His pricing was very fair since he had picked up the parts that was needed for the repairs, and gave them to me at his cost. He was right on time.

The company was difficult to contact. A date was established over the phone while he was driving. He asked me to text him the details because he couldn't write them down. I did, and didn't hear anything back. I emailed the details hoping to get a confirmation and still didn't. I asked for a call ahead on the day of as well. When that day came, weeks later, I hadn't heard from him. It was a noon to 4 window. I called at about 2:30 PM to see if I could get an update and to make sure he was coming. No answer. I called and texted several times after that. He eventually got back to me, around 4:30 PM. It turns out he was at my door while I was calling him, but I didn't hear him. I don't know how much noise he made at the door, but the garage door was open and he didn't call any of my numbers. Also, he was unapologetic and unaccommodating with respect to a reschedule.

I wanted him to re-plumb two sinks in my house. He was prompt & pleasant. And he did an excellent job on the plumbing under my sink. My only complaints are that he needed to go back and forth to his truck numerous times as well as needing to go to Menard's to pick something up. Because of that he never started the 2nd sink. He had agreed to come back another time and complete it but he never did. Again, the work he did was very good.

He was very nice. However it was a dreadful experience, he was very hard to get a hold of, and he did not return any calls. When I did finally get him to come out he did not come with the right equipment, they did not have the right faucet and the next time he was delayed coming out. After he installed the faucet he had the hot and cold water backwards, he also did not have the connection solid and I came home and there was water pouring out under my sink and into my basement. I finally had another plumber come out and fix this.

While the faucet was repaired to the extent I could again get water out of the tap, the water flow has been reduced to a little more than a trickle. I called the plumber who did the work multiple times and could never get any response. Needless to say, the work and service was terrible and this plumber should be removed from Angie's List.

Fine until he cut off the iron downspout which drop about 17" with his sawall and chip the enamel on the bottom of bathtub. I feel the damage was due to carelessnes. This was easy to prevent by placing a pad under it or asking me hold spout would't fall and do damage. He offer to fix it, by repainting the whole tub, I feft that be costly for Jim, but ask him to check on a less expense way and call me with a answer, as the wife & myself expect to replace within the next couple of years. NO CALL BACK, as of Nov. 7th, and I will not use Jim again.

I bought two hours of labor for $99 from Jim last summer. He came by before I purchased the deal and said what he thought he could do. It took ma a long time to find my cooktop. Jim got bus with other Angie's List jobs and at one point, sent out a note to those of us still hanging and apologized. But in my case, it was my own doing. When I finally needed to install the gas line Jim was very responsive. He worked fast and explained everything he was doing, and why. He finished the job in two hours, so all I had to pay for (beyond the deal) was parts. I told Jim I'd have him back later to do some bathroom plumbing.

Jim did an excellent job! He's very professional. He's also very busy. It took us three months to get an appointment. But, he offers quality work at a reasonable rate, it's worth the wait. We will be using his services in the future.
