He spent an extraordinary amount of time researching the application process. He called the company whenever he had questions. He did an excellent job with prep work, repairing the badly cracked plaster walls and doing a skim coat over the new sheetrock. He laid paper over the floors and taped off all the woodwork which included 8 windows. He always cleaned up each day. The process took much longer than expected since it was his first time to use this product. It's been a year & it still looks fabulous.
Description of Work: Jeff applied a new product, American Clay, to my sunroom walls. The clay is used in place of a skim coat and paint.

Jeff was recommended to us by another local contractor. When contacted, Jeff was immediately available to look over the job and to provide an estimate. Originally, we asked him only to do the work on our new study, which involved removing wall paper from two walls (one of which had been painted over, we did not even know that there was wall paper on that wall!), repairing the plaster, and priming and painting the walls and ceiling. When we accepted the estimate, he was able to schedule us in very quickly. He attacked the job in a very professional manner, causing minimal interruption to our household routine. When the wall paper was removed, more extensive plaster repair work was disclosed. Jeff helped guide our color selections (he has a great eye). The final outcome was stunning. We were so pleased we asked Jeff to look at our upstairs bathroom walls and ceiling, which had badly peeling paint. Jeff attacked this with the same energy, producing the same excellent results.
Description of Work: Jeff removed the wall paper from two walls, patched the plaster on all four walls and ceiling, and repainted the walls and ceiling in our study, putting down heavy resin paper to protect the recently refinished hardwood flooring. He then proceeded to remove old "potato chipping" oil-based paint from our second floor bathroom, after which he patched the plaster throughout, and painted the walls and ceiling.
