Description of Work: Listened to us regarding what we were looking for as far as quality and color. Samples were sent to our home a few times and Adam kept checking with us to make sure that we received them and what we thought of them. He was very patient because we just could not make up our minds. Finally we found what we wanted and the purchase order was sent in .We were told it would take about 3 weeks for the new carpet to be delivered but had a wonderful surprise because it came in two weeks early. We set up the install date and everything went as planned

Description of Work: I shopped around at seven (7) carpet/furniture retailers across the Twin Cities and finally purchased a new living room set at a HIGH END furniture and carpet retailer in town and they did an outstanding job of helping me design the living room and I did buy a beautiful new living room and dining set from them. They also convinced me to to consider FABRICA carpeting, (which I never heard of before) for the new house. The sales associate recommended FABRICA for several reasons and I could tell instantly it was a VERY HIGH carpet, and I am no carpet expert, but the price tag was absolutely out of my price range. This well known nationally known retailer typcially offers only very high end merchandise, but I did not want to buy good looking cheap carpet with my new high end furniture, but also was not prepared to spend over $24,000 for carpeting, so I began my search. I spent a lot of time on this project because I needed over 250 yards of carpet and good carpet does not come cheap and my hard work paid off very handsomely with drastic discounts by shopping around and finding a retailer that was MOTIVATED to work with me on pricing. You cannot negotiate with large national retailers, but you can with with Jack Rubenstein Wholesale. It's almost like Priceline.com and they were highly motivated to earn my business and the transaction was a win-win for both of us and I like doing business in where we all win ane business is appreciated. Well, the HIGH END retailer sales rep/designer did not have any "flexibility" on the pricing, but after shopping around with a few different brick and mortar retailers in the cities and a few independent carpet retailers that I found in the Yellow Pages and Angies List, and I was lucky enough to contact Jack Rubenstein Wholesale Carpet. It was so ironic, because I actually purchased my first new car from Jack Rubenstein Wholesale group back in 1973! It was a brand new shiny Chevy Vega and I knew exactly what I wanted and they saved me money. Back then I actually dealt with Jack Rubenstein, but since then Adam Z and his wife purchased the business. Anyway, back to the carpeting, Adam told me to visit a Prosource Carpet wholesale showroom in the twin cities and pick out the FABRICA style and color and call him back. Well, I found the Fabrica carpet and I shopped around with the EXACT carpet with numerous retailers and they came in less than every other retailer in town by a very sizeable amount. Now once you know EXACTLY what you want, the rest of it is easy.
