+ -1 moreIt went well and I was pleased with the work. I did not understand how difficult a job like this would be. Kerry had to get the measurements just right so that he could in essence replace the bottom of the drawers and put rollers on them for an easy open and close.
Description of Work: Kerry added some heavy duty drawer rollers and guides to 3 large linen closet drawers. When attempting to open these drawers previously,they would twist and stick and be very hard to open and close.

+ -1 moreKerry did lots of measuring, made sketches, came back again to re-check everything, show me what he was going build, made sure I understood. He e-mailed me more than once a week to let me know of his progress. The book cases were obviously made with love and look beautiful. They have an incredible finish. All hand rubbed and waxed and smooth as glass. I have been trying to think up something else for him to do!
Description of Work: Last early November I went to my front door to quiet my barking dog and found a man putting flyers on doors for his cabinet making business. We chatted and I invited him in to look at the sewing room I was making. After a short time he suggested that I would do better to get some cabinets from IKEA for my needs. I thought this was SO honest! I then directed him to another project I've had in mind for years. I wanted book cases made to fit on each side of my fireplace. After measuring and working with me he created beautiful, matching and versatile bookcases from oak and they were in before Christmas. This is a gentle, intelligent and very talented man. If you are looking for a custom, well built and beautiful creation of nice wood and 20 years of experience, this is your man!
